Is that because my hair is growing in and it just going to irritate it until it fully grows back

View 2 RepliesI am 16. Female. Never done anything sexual so i am 100% sure this is not a std or anything of the sorts. SO, i started to shave young (pubic hairs..bikini line, vaginal area) at 12 or 13. And ever nice i started i would get these in grown hairs. I am half black - so i guess i am prone to that (curly hair growing inwards). But now almost my entirety of my inner thighs are covered with these dark marks and scars. And too many ingrown hairs. I am too embarrassed to go swimming, I never wear shorts because you can see them. Also I have these sick pimples down there... Waxing - - the scars are still there! When i was younger - i was dumb enough to pick at them and.. well it is just getting worse over the years. !
View 14 RepliesI've been dealing with a chronic itch on my genitals (im a female) it all started with a yeast infection though the yeast went away but the itch didn't i've went with vulvar specialist and they find nothing.I recently met with a dermatologist and said it was something with my nerves down there so she prescribed me Doxepin i guess it helps with the itching but i want a cure ! i cant tell i it works yet but have any of you took it for itching? if so what was the outcome?
View 5 RepliesSeriously, it hurts so bad I can't even touch it. No redness, no discharge, no odor, no itching, no pain urinating, just dryness and burning. Similar to a rash or rug burn.
I've treated it for yeast infections, but it still keeps burning off and on. Maybe it's sensitive skin? I use natural and PH-balanced soaps because I can't stand using only water down there.
Please help! It REALLY makes it difficult to enjoy my sex life.
i'm 22 years old just get married , never had sex before in my life !! i just lost my vegina 6 months ago with my husband . it was complicated hymen resistance , some doctors asked me to use operation to loose my vegina, but my husband insisted to do it by his own !
my point here is : any time i have sex during this 6 months i get hurt in the entrance of my vegina , and when he is trying to exit too ! after the sex i feel the fire on the exit (vulva) that takes an hour or two sometimes! as a concussion NO ITCHING at all ,only burning in the entrance of my vegina ( vulva )
i visited a doctor he said that we need to have sex many times as we can ! but its still hurt

View 1 RepliesI've struggled with intense vulva itching since i was 18 and now am 25 and it seems to be getting more intense and more frequent. The appearance of my vulva has changed. The labia minora looks stretched and purplish brown. The outer lips have shrunken somewhat. I am experiencing yellowish discharge and burning after peeing. Pee seems to aggravate the itching even more. I have been treated for uti s and for yeast infections with no luck. I have tried changing to cotton underwear, avoiding soaps, and try to stay dry though it is had since I always seem to have discharge coming out. Having sex definitely aggravates the itching as well. It feels liI'm I'm allergic to everything and it's very frustrating not to have any doctors give answers. They don't know what my vulva used to look like so they don't believe it's a serious issue but it's too intense to ignore. Please advise me on what it could be and what I might do. It's been too long to ignore and it feels like it's getting worse.

I have had this itching of the vulva area for 2 years now, gyn said she didn't know what it could be. I went to a dermatologist, she prescribed PROTOPIC ointment 0.1% and said it was very common among high stress women. This was the only thing that cleared it up. It does come back sometimes but if I use the ointment at the first sign of itching, it stops. I know how everybody feels! the itching can drive you nuts!mine really acted up at night, I had many nights of no sleep.

Ome thong I own really irritates the space between my anus and my vagina. I get lots of cloudy milky white discharge that is almost like thin icing.. it dries and gets crusty. Is this all normal? Day after I lost it my vagina started itching & it led on for about a week, I examined myself down there with a mirror and I see tiny lil bumps on my opening. They don't burn they just itch, I told my grandma & aunt my situation & they told me it could be yeast. When I went to use the restroom I saw blood on the tissue when I wiped, I tried monistat but my period came the following night. My period started may 1 - may 7, after it ended I still had itching. The itching did calm down a quite bit but the lil bumps are still here, they don't burn just itch. They don't look red just blends in with my vagina color, but it's noticeable when I put a flashing on it. My discharge doesn't stink, I guess it had a tint sort of like an off white maybe because my period ended & that happened 5 days after my period. I use to smell it through my clothes as well, but I'm not for sure either because that only happens when I'm in a rush & I pick the nearest panties that's on the floor & thats dirty. -_-_- so yeah I think that causes the smell. Now the tint is gone & it's white. But the little bumps are still here, like i said no BURNING, NO REDDISH COLORS, But it does ITCH. Help me, I know good as well you can't catch as STD a day after loosing virginity.

View 2 RepliesI recently got married and you could not imagine the depression (especially after waiting for our wedding night) that loomed over me because I felt like....to be blunt... I had a gross vagina. I always made genital health a priority and it seemed the more I kept myself clean, the worse the problem got. At my breaking point, (keep in mind I am african american- thus brown skinned) the skin in the crease of my bikini line, the entire vulva, my perineum, and my butt crack were bright pink, raw, cracked, and bleeding. yet still itchy. I saw 3 gynecologists, 2 dermatologists, and 1 primary care physician. All of whom diagnosed me with lichen simplex and then lichen simplex chronicus. Imagine my relief (the first time!) I then started a laundry list of creams and ointments that just made it worse in some way or another. The list includes: Lidocaine solution, Desitin, Rx strength hydrocortisone, triamcinolone acetonide, Miconazole cream 2% and 200 mg capsules, Clobetasol Propionate ointment and the cream, Sarna lotion that was refrigerated (although scintillating when applied to the problem area, i wanted relief not pleasure), Triple Antibiotic ointment, estrace cream, clotrimazole Betamethasone cream, domeboro soaks, and lastly nystatin powder. Believe it or not, the best one out of all of these was the powder. I was just about to give up when I broke down to a very close friend who happens to be a primary care physician (He is 31 years old, for those who care) while getting dressed up for my new bridegroom I told my friend about the problem and was looking for something to emotionally prepare me for the coming night. I wanted to tear down walls when he GLANCED at my problem area, shrugs his shoulders and says......"ok, so you have jock itch. It's not the end of the world."Yes ladies. It was JOCK ITCH! Unfortunately it was too late to save my honeymoon. However I went to Walmart, purchased Bacitracin and a few different jock itch treatments and started immediately. In two days the symptoms had relieved themselves and the only issue remaining was this feeling like I had cuts in my pubic hair area right at the hood of my clitoris. PAINFUL!!!! It just wouldn't go away. Finally, after babying it, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to get a closer look. Against better judgement I used an ELECTRIC razor (it left very short stubble which I wanted. Last thing I needed was to nick the skin or get razor bumps). Once completely bald, I hopped in the shower, washed the area well (it burned) washed with summer's eve vaginal shower wash (burned a little too), got out, dried off, and then applied straight bacitracin to the ENTIRE pubic area. I suggest if you are going to try this, right before you do it, take a deep breath and remind yourself of all the sleepless painful itchy nights. Why? Because it burned like I was exorcising the devil out of my clitoris! After about 5-10 second, it stops burning and I go to bed. Since then, I have used the Tinactin (jock itch spray on powder) from time to time. I am happy to say I have not touched an antifungal product in two weeks. All signs of the problem are gone. ALSO my skin is back to normal. If you are worried about scarring, it didn't happen to me.
I had sleepless nights and embarrassing days for TWO years fighting this damn LICHEN SIMPLEX (which just means dry skin FYI) when all I needed was some jock itch cream.
