is there any way of getting pregnant after a tubal ligation other than a tubal reversal? i was forced to have a tubal ligation by my abusive ex and now my husband and i are wanting to have a baby. is there anything i can do to get pregnant?

View 1 RepliesJust looking for advice. I just had a tubal reversal Sx done on 3/5 and am currently on the the mend as I ran into an infection. That aside, the Dr. said my tubes were "beautiful" and the reconnection of both was successful. I'm 39 and my new, (almost 2 years) husband in 41. He has no children of his own; I have three ages 15 to 18. Just looking for experiences like mine and if pregnancies were successfully produced through a tubal reversal.

View 1 RepliesI am 38 years old and have had my tubes cut and burn. My cycle is 30 days and last 4 days. It is a heavy flow and most of the time clots are present but this month it came the day it was supposed to. On time. Only it was & is watery red/brownish, have lower back pain and cramping, headaches, nausea, very bloated. My boyfriend said I look like I was 3 months but lol I know that can't be. Please help. My flow is 4 days but on day 5 & still spotting. Not enough to use a pad or full a tampon. What could it be? I'm a very fertile before I had my tubes done I have had 7 pregnancies and 5 live births. But if God blesses me one more time I will be so happy and so will my boyfriend. We both want a baby together.

View 1 RepliesI am a 29 year old who 6 months ago had both my tubes tied and an ablation i have still had my period every month since i did this and have in recent months lost a lot of weight and have been feeling sick with everything i do and eat for a few weeks now i have very tender breasts as well and am concerned about being or falling pregnant again i have 3 beautiful girls my youngest being 6 and my eldest being 12 but made my choice due to the trauma of losing babies hand over fist with my last partner , my new partner would love me to have a baby but i am very worried about the health risks to both me and any potential baby who do i speak with about this as my gp is no help here at all and neither is my rn do i need to try and get hold of a specialist ?

I noticed my monthly was a week late in Feb. and have yet to start this month. I was having issue when I urinated and went to get it checked, they gave me something that turned my urine orange. I have been wanting fried egg sandwiches, and noticed this morning that the dog food, (I feed every morning) made me so sick smelling it, then I got cat food on my hand and about vomited. Could it be possible that I am preg? Could this really happen. I have been having mood swings and crying spells as well. Menopause?

View 2 RepliesI had ovarian cyst on my right ovary, so it has been removed 7 yrs ago, and during that time, since i was out of work, and raising 3 kids is quite tough especially in financial considerations and my ex-hub has no work, i decided to have my other ovary ligated. However, now my fiance and i is craving for 1 more baby. He says he might be incapable already since we have been together for 3 yrs now, and yet i haven't got pregnant. I am the mother of 2 wonderful daughters and do not plan on having any others. I have read a lot of postings about women who haven't had a period since their procedures, however I still get my period. My system has always sort of been out of whack (periods every 2 weeks or every 2 months). Recently I have been concerned about the lack of my period (almost @ 7 weeks) and wondering, if by some chance I was pregnant, what that would mean? Tied tubes and lack of uterine wall surely cannot equal a pleasant outcome. I have taken a pregnancy test which turned out negative but if my system is out of whack, how accurate could it be?

View 2 RepliesOk i have never done this before so here I go....I had a tubal ligation 8 years ago. Then life led me in a new direction and i want kids with m new husband. We have been together 6 yrs now and in those six years i have had 6 miscarriages. No doctor around my area do reversal and it is really expensive and our insurance doesn't cover it. My friend had 1 miscarriage went to the er and they reversed hers that next morning????? I could use some suggestions on what to tell my doctor so he will reverse this cause emotionally i am drained with having the miscarriages and not to mention the havoc it reeks on my body... We would love a baby and the reversal is 6200.00 in our state. I don't know what to do anymore. Even suggestions on some places that might finance us. I really want this reversed for my body and mind's sake are there programs to help me or doctors that can help.
