View 1 RepliesThis is my second pregnancy and my first was a terrible experience. 24 hours of back labor with no pain medication and then ended up being an emergency cesarean. My doctor told me I should absolutely not get pregnant for two years and now I am pregnant again only ten months later and I'm a little worried.
View 4 RepliesI'm a little worried because it seemed as though my bleeding had nearly stopped, and when I did bleed, it was a brown tint and then, I did the unthinkable. I had sex with my husband before I was supposed to. Almost immediately afterwards, I started bleeding bright red again and a few days later, was bleeding with almost a mucus type discharge. I've also noticed that the pain in my lower abdomen/incision area seems more tender than it was just a few days ago. Could this be signs of an infection or something else of concern? I also just took my temp right now, and had a low grade fever of 99.3.
View 1 RepliesHas anyone had a vbac after two c sections?
View 5 RepliesI just had a baby by cesarean. A few days after leaving the hospital i found a 2-3cm hard lump under the skin to me it feels like a bone. the lump is located right in between the hip/leg and vagina on the right side. it is not in the vagina or visible. i went to my doctor and the told me it is not a cyst and to just watch it. a few days later i feel more lumps right next under the skin to it but smaller. i does hurt when touched and sometimes when sitting.
View 1 RepliesSo i want to know when having a c-section is the numbing process the same as a vaginal delivery this will be my first cesarean and im scared
View 5 RepliesWhy does my old cesarean section scar open? It's very painful, oozes and reseals sometimes? I've had 2 csections, last one is 13 years ago.
View 1 RepliesMy sister has a depressed skull fracture or a dent as we say from her birth in UAE. She was born from a cesarean section with an unfortunate use of forceps. That left her a dent or depressed skull fracture at the skull vertex. It is visible on physical examination. But when we went to doctor, we had complained about poor balance , coordination and failed to draw light on this fact. The doctor could not study this by CT and MRI. That failed to study this dent. This may be owing to lack of detailing ie by reconstruction of CT scanning.
Throughout her life ,she has been suffering from Developmental coordination disorder /minimal brain damage, owing to this. She has recently an official diagnosis from UK.
Who in here had a c section with their first and later was pregnant right away? Is it dangerous to get pregnant months after a c section just curious?
View 15 RepliesHas anyone ever had a repeat C-section after the first one was an emergency, the difference is during my emergency c- section I was put to sleep. I appreciate the heads up with the repeat but I'm extremely worried. Any advice or past experiences to lift my spirits?
View 1 RepliesFor the past 6 years I've been having shooting agonising pains up both backs of legs for no apparent reason. (bending forwards can make it worse)
I lost 4 stones in weight when my dad suddenly died, the weight went from around my bum and thigh area. I've since put weight on - not as much as I lost.
I had a hysterectomy a couple of years ago.
I'm told that it sounds like sciatica - from people who have the same thing and my doc said the same.
Recently it has got much worse, after walking for a few minutes both legs go numb from the foot up, I have trouble with my balance anyway (MD, Surgery etc) this makes it worse. I'm also in pain if I stand still - basically I can't, I have to sit or walk (i use a stick to help with inner ear balance trouble, which docs / specialist can do nothing about)
My doc has said "it will go away" - yes, right, when?
I don't always have this pain in my calf. only after i've walked a little while, but when this happens i get a pain in my the middle of my right calf and a numbness in my foot. My foot actually loses all color too and gets cold. almost like it's getting no blood flow. any ideas?
View 1 RepliesI have woken up this morning with numbness and pain in my legs. It seems to be getting worse and moving up my body anyone got any ideas what this could be?

I have been having some strange issues going on this past week.. My lower back so been hurting and when I go to stand up its almost like my lower back, butt, and upper legs are numb and won't support me. it causes pain when this happens and it's hard for me to straighten my body up. the longer I sit the worse the pain is when I stand. when I bend over my upper legs try to give out on me. this has never happened before and as I don't have insurance I'm hoping someone can give me some insight as to what this may be and what I should do
View 1 RepliesAfter standing or walking a while, I get a dull pain in my lower right back and numbness going down my rights outside butt cheek, thigh, calf and right side of my right foot. What does this mean?

View 1 RepliesHas anyone else had sciatica pain when pregnant or not? And what do you recommend for relief? My left leg has been hurting like a sharp pain with tingling and numbness off and on. I don't know what to do to help since Tylenol didn't help...
View 5 RepliesI am extremely worried about my health at the moment. I am taking ritalin to study but my blood pressure seems to have increased a bit. Went to the doc he says its fine. Today my veins from my inside elbow to my wrist hand and fingers was in mild pain and numbness. I am 21 years old and have no history of any medical problems.
View 3 RepliesSo I've decided to bite the bullet and move up to 20 mg after being on 10mg for 4 months.
The side effects aren't as bad there manageable which is a plus.
I do have pain/numbness/tingling in the back right hand side of my head (I think it's where the mind is located) I was wondering if this will go away as it's driving me crazy day in day out .
I'm 25, and have recently developed symptoms (last 2-3 months). I had some mild sore wrists before but over the last few month it progressed to numbness in both hands. I did some physiotherapy and stretching and it did actually improve a bit but then my left ring finger began to develop pain and severe numbness, enough to stop me from typing with my left hand. I ice it several times a day which is keeping it at bay but doesn't do anything for the numbness.
Any comments or advice? I'm on a 1 month wait for an EMG specialist. The only thing that makes the numbness better is bending my wrist into a flexed position and holding it there for a few seconds.
