I have diverticulosis and IBS. I have been checked with colonoscopies ultrasound and CT scans. My pain is in the sigmoid area. I am having a gastroscopy and Sigmoidoscopy done on Nov. 24. I was wondering if it is possible for hemorrhoids to grow in the sigmoid area?
View 2 RepliesI've had a growth on the top of my anal opening for several years. It first came to my notice through pain on wiping. On further inspection, it became clear that a hard growth had installed itself adjacent to the anal passage. This body is immovable but periodically submerged in a type of crater or shallow second hole above the real one. Accordingly, it can flare up and became painful and irritated much as it can subside and be nearly invisible to the naked eye. This is the problem which stymied my attempts to provide a visual cue for a colorectal surgeon who examined me. I showed photos on my phone, but they informed me that they couldn't see anything and wouldn't proceed to a surgical solution. They did indicate some internal hemorrhoids and offered a ligation for those, by my pain problem is primarily related to this external object. I took two photos of the issue today and circled them in MS Paint for maximum clarification.

View 1 RepliesI'm wondering if my penis will still grow. I'm turning 17 in a month, and my penis is 6" long and 4.25" mid shaft girth and 4.5" base girth (small, I know). I hit puberty probably around 12 or 13, but I haven't finished yet. I also have seen very little to no growth at all since last year. I have some facial hair, but I am still told I have a "baby face". I'm in grade 12, but could easily pass for a grade 9 or 10. I have some noticeable chest and stomach hair, but not much. I have a decent amount of pubic hair and under arm hair. My voice isn't high pitched, but isn't exactly deep either. My size has been bothering me lately because my friends have been talking about getting laid and I'm afraid I'm going to get turned down because of my size. Also, seeing the kids sizes in the showers discourages me. I'd really like to know if I could still grow, maybe some people had similar experiences as me and grew.

View 3 RepliesI am a 17 year old male and I have a severe hgh deficiency. I was diagnosed when I was 12 and have been put on a shot for the past 5 years and it has helped a ton. I used to have a very small head because I was hgh deficient and even now I feel it is small. The circumference of my head is 21.6 inches and according to Google that's below average. I really hope it doesn't look small but I feel like no one will give me an honest answer. I am still on the shot and will be for 3-6 months. If my doctor sees no growth next visit he will take me off it. I see my doctor every 3 months for a checkup to see how much I've grown and stuff. After I am done with the shot I have to see my doctor a month after to see if I make enough hgh without the shot or I will get osteoporosis, but I want to know if my head will still grow to the average size which is 22 inches around according to Google even without the shot. Also my head has grown a ton in the past 6 months. In the best 6 months my hats have increased in size. Please help me. If you need to know im 5'9" also I take the hgh shot 6 days a week.

It's 3.5 inches in girth and length exactly.
My voice hasn't changed much at all since I was younger.
I'm not overweight at all but I've got a pretty big amount of fat on my chest yet nowhere else(man boobs), I also have little to no muscle definition.

Of my body hair, I have had some soft "baby hair" in my armpits and shaft area since about 13ish, and since about 6ish months or so I now have the curly, coarse, dark hair in both areas, but little enough to count if you were determined.
My body odor is god-awful if I don't keep it under control.

Ok so today I noticed that in the back if my mouth where my wisdom tooth would grow out, it's a different color. I just noticed this today. It's like grey and idk if that's the tooth coming out. To me it looks like a sore like when you brush too hard but idk. It was hurting a little bit today but no debilitating pain. I'm a hypochondriac so I'm freaking out. My dentist did say that I would eventually have to get it taken out but that was 3 years ago.
It's a little soft when you touch it.

My docs did 2 set of blood work about 2 weeks ago for other reasons, but if I did have an infection in my blood wouldn't it be in the results. My results were normal.
I was diagnosed with hypo this past november but i started feeling sick in september of 2011 when i was 17, im 19 now and my life has changed drastically due to this! My hair was falling out at a rapid rate, i was gaining weight even though i barely eat and had some really bad mood swings! Went to the doc and prescribed me levothyroxine 50mg it has been 9months since im on this medication, my levels are back to normal but i still feel as though nothing has changed, my hair is falling out i'm almost bald, its really hard to lose weight and according to my mom i have become unbearable! How long does it take to see actual progress with levothyroxine? does your hair grow back at all? will i ever feel better? i just want my life back :'( I had take a year off university because of this and i need to know if anything is gonna change! View 4 RepliesMy internal hems. are not responding to a doctor's injections. They (3) are not major, but I wish (almost) they would become thrombus so it/they could be cut out. I had that years ago.
The pain is not so great as to cause bleeding, toilet trouble but the pain is there every day for two months.
Putting on ointments in public toilets all the time to cool the pain. Awful. Inconvenient and interferes with daily life.
Gets worse with stress.

My lips, and the area around my lips have been really dry. Here are some of the problems with it:
Small dots appear below, and above my lips
White spots appear around lips
The lips, and the area around it are really dry, and sometimes red
Whenever I take a shower, after the shower, my lips are dry.
It's been happening for a long time now. My doctor said I have to drink more water, and I've been drinking 4 water bottles a day for the longest time.
I've tried chapstick, Neosporin, vaseline, and burt's bee.
Often when I'm about to have an outbreak I feel a warm sensation on my mons pubis in the area that the blisters will usually appear. Can you tell me if the shedding only occurs from this area (where the blisters will be) or also from the vagina as well.
View 4 Replies17(almost 18)y/girl. I have a (BIG) problem with acne. My forehead and my cheeks look great, but my nose, the area under my nose and especially my chin look awful. I tried several things, but my pimples don't disappear. When a pimple almost disappeared another 1 or 2 appear. My confidence is low because of this and I sometimes I'm depressed because of it.
Maybe it's that my T zone is kind of oily, but my cheeks are normal. Like during the day I can feel that the T zone is oily, especially the chin.
I don't know what to do anymore. I am tired of concealer and foundation.
Has anyone ever heard of or experienced or is there even such a thing of having a yeast infection in the anal area?
View 3 RepliesI was diagnosed with shingles yesterday and I have started taking Valtrex as prescribed.
I went to the walk in clinic 4 days ago because my throat was sore, and my glands in front of my ear and behind my ear were super sore and swollen. He prescribed Amoxil and said I had a sinus infection (and I do have cold symptoms). I also had the rash at the time, but not as bad as now. I actually had spots on my forehead before all of this..but I assumed I was breaking out in acne or something.
It is on my face!! All on the right side of my forehead, making my right side of my face swell as well as my right eyelid and under my eye is swelling! I look horrible.
I did go to the eye dr today to have it checked out, and my eye is fine and there isn't any corneal nerve involvement.
What can I do for the swelling?! I am a 29 year old female with two young boys to look after!
The pain of the shingles isn't that bad for me, I just feel like my hair is in a tight pony tail on that side.
I have an enlarged spleen it is 17cm and it has a area of hypodensity within the spleen of uncertain etiology. What does this mean? also says that the area of vascular compromise should be considered versus other infiltrative processes
