Painful Lump On My Labia Near My Anus?
Feb 15, 2016
I am 17 years old, and am sexually active. I recently discovered an unnatural lump on my labia, near my anus on the right hand side. I have been looking into what it could be, but haven't found anything conclusive. Over the past few days (I discovered it three days ago) it seems to have gotten slightly larger and painful. Today I am uncomfortable sitting down, and am worried about it getting worse. I am unable to take a bath, only shower, and am trying to find a reliable gynecologist in the Pittsburgh area.

Hi! I am a 23 year old female. 3 days ago I felt irritation in my vaginal area. I looked at it and I have a swollen lump in the front area of my labia minora, like near my clitoris. It feels like it has fluid inside, and it is the same color as the skin around it. I'd say it is the size of a small marble. It is very annoying and I am getting concerned since it hasn't gone away yet. My period also started that day so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it.

I'm 15 and right now I'm cry my eyes out. For about a year, I've had a hardish, moveable, painless lump under my left labia majora. I am not sexually active and suffer with anxiety so I'm freaking out in case I have vulvar cancer. I have no symptoms, nothing is out of the usual, I'm just really scared. Also there seems to be some kind of painful lymph node on the top of my inner thigh, near my vagina, which swells up when I'm sick, it's quite painful but goes down and only seems to come when I have an infection.

My mom has a lump in her sides, i couldn't quite understand if it is considered as a breast (because it is in the side and not literally on the breast) or armpit (because it is already below the armpit) lump. It started to be small but then grew bigger after a while it also became painful and suddenly looked like a bruise, she also felt a little numbness in her arm, after some time putting organic medicine it turned smaller and painless but right now it is not yet gone. 1st question: is it to be identified as a breast or armpit lump? 2nd question: what might be the diagnosis for both cases (or what is the difference of diagnosis if it is identified under armpit lump or if it is identified under breast lump)? i really couldn't find any reference to a lump that is painful then turned painless

I have a very painful quarter size bump on my Anus, on my cheek. I read some things about it and some people are saying it's cancer and others are saying it's just a zit like thing. I'm not going to pop it, though it feels like there may be pus or blood underneath. It's very painful and I've had it for days please help! I've had something like it before on my anus but it just went away. Do I need to see a doctor?

I am a teenage girl. I take pretty good care of myself and usually have no major issues. However, a few nights ago I noticed a small bump on my labia majora when I went to the bathroom. Besides minor soreness to the touch, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, so I assumed it was just an ingrown hair or pimple and vowed to deal with it in the morning. When I woke up it had grown and was more painful.
It's been only 3 days since the initial sighting and it has multiplied in size. It's also become more painful. (I'll post symptoms below)
I've taken sitz baths, thinking it may just be an abscess or something, but it won't come to a head, and honestly it doesn't feel fluid-filled at all. (I had an abscess on my shoulder last month) The lump is now covering my clitoris, I have to move it out of the way to wipe properly (ouch).

A little over a month ago I noticed a lump in my right labia majora, somewhat near where my thigh meets the lips. It itches on the surface sometimes and if you pinch the skin you can feel a pea sized lump a little deep in. Not too deep but also not directly under the skin. I thought it was an ingrown hair but no white head has appeared for me to try and pop it. It has not grown, it only hurts if I mess with it often, and the little pimple like bump (with no head) on the surface sometimes feels bigger and itchier. It feels kinda hard but it is moveable. Idk if it is an ingrown hair anymore, anyone have info on what it may be? I already made an appointment but it is not until next week.

Today me and my bf were doing things, and he was fingering me pretty hard, and his hand slipped and scratched me pretty bad on accident, so we stopped. i ignored it for the rest of the day till earlier when i had to use the restroom and it hurt, so i wanted to see how bad it was so I grabbed a handheld mirror and looked, and saw a huge lump..
I have large inner labia, they're not TOO large, but they're large enough, and around the right side of my hood, there's a HUGE lump. It's about the size of..a pretty large pea.. or a small marble...maybe a centimeter diameter? and it's almost like.. rolling a nut around in a sack.. :$ but more limited movement, a lot smaller, and not a sack..
it's not like a zit or a pimple, it's like a knot, like.. a ball inside my inner labia. it doesn't hurt, and i don't know if it will hurt later. it wasn't there earlier today, so it grew within about 6-7 hours..
For the past year or so every once in awhile i've gotten a single little pimple on my inner labia, but they could be popped, and weren't on the inside, and i think they were from shaving or ingrown hairs.
i don't know what it is, and i'm quite terrified. I can't go to the gynecologist, even though i want to..
Do any of you have any idea what it might be..? i'm so terrified and disgusted right now.. i'm in tears, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. it actually hurts now, and even more when i touch on it.. and it's been about 5 minutes since i originally posted this. it's not an extreme pain, or enough to make me squirm, but it does hurt.

I recently read an article that said you should check your labia once a month for lumps, and so while I was doing this check, I found a small lump under my labia minora. It's between my labia and the pelvic bone resting on top of the muscle. It's not hard, it's soft and I can move it around a little. it's about the size of a pea, maybe a little bigger. You can't see it by just looking, and unfortunately I don't know how long its been there. It doesn't hurt at all either. I'm a little concerned, I'm making an appointment as soon as I can, but I was just looking for a little peace of mind until then.

I noticed a lump on my labia minora a few months back, at first i thought it may be a pimple or ingrown hair but i dont think thats it from the research i done. This lump is the size of a pea. it does not hurt and is not painful. I have been examining and watching this lump for any changes but have noticed none. its just a lump that causes no pain or discomfort.

Last week I noticed that a small bump was on my inner labia majora towards the top section, rather than the vaginal opening. Last morning the bump has turned into a slightly hard, but movable lump that hurts when touched. What's going on? Who should I see about this? Help please

It hurts when I sit down and sometimes when I walk. I have used a hot washcloth for compresses, I have used cold water to help maybe the swelling go down, I have even put a heating pad between my legs applying pressure on it when I sleep. I only noticed it a few days ago and thought it was an ingrown hair. I haven't had any sexual activity since October. It hurts to itch and touch it. It even hurts when I wipe after using the restroom. I'm trying as many home remedies as possible before telling my doctor because at the moment we are still trying to figure out if I'm going to have a strong pregnancy or not and I don't want anything getting infected.

i have recently been worried because i have found a small red lump on the inside of my labia minora or whatever it's called... i'm worried it might be herpes but i've never had sex or done anything remotely sexual (im 14 lol) so does anybody know what it is? It disappears sometimes then reappears... i'm not going to post a picture because umm that would be weird but yeah. I've googled it and it says that it could be herpes but in all the things i've read, people who have got it have had sex so can someone help because i'm kind of scared that in the future it may affect me if you know what i mean...

I had a lump in minor labia ( area between major and minor labia). I tried warm compress for few days in order to soften the lump and bursted it. It seemed to have developed a red rash around in the opening area. I applied anti itching cream came with Miconazole cream ( 3 day prescription) for yeast infection. This treatment hasn't helped so far at all. I can see the redness has come down but not completely gone down. It still has soreness and pain in that area. Today morning I noticed a small I can see a small soreness ( like a small pimple) closer to the tip of other labia minora as well. I don't understand what's happening ? In the past i have had acne / lump in labia minora after the menstrual period and then they would burst in next 2-3 days. Can you please help me in this ? some cream that I can apply on this ? I m currently in US for holiday so cant access the local doctor since my insurance has expired. However I m gonna try to reach to my doctor in India as early as possible...

Recently I felt some irritation on my left inner labia, nothing major just some general irrigation. For the last 3 days I've been at my boyfriend's and we've been having intercourse about twice a day, there is now a clear hard bump a little smaller than a pea on my labia that isn't painful just uncomfortable, it is pretty red and is localized to this one spot. It feels as if there is something hard underneath the skin like a pimple or a cyst. What could this be?

I just found a little black lump in my vagina (on the labia minora, near the clitoris area), and it's scaring me a lot! I'm a virgin so I guess it's not some STD. It's black, but when I shower it gets pale, like, grayish...It looks like a blood blister or a seed, and it's kinda hard. It doesn't itch or hurt, only when I touch it, it feels a little more tender to the touch. but I'm very scared! I'll go to the doctor asap but, if anyone can give me a clue of what it is, I'll be less worried...I can't even sleep thinking it might be something serious or that it won't go away (it's disgusting ).
