Opposite Of Narcolepsy :: Can Sleep For 18 Hours Without Peeing
Jul 23, 2015
I can sleep 18hrs and not even have to go pee!
The last time I remember actually wanting to get out of bed I must have been quite young because I remember it was to watch cartoons.
Depression I s everyone's answer to this but I do this even when life is sweet!

I'm 14 years old and yesterday school started after two weeks of holidays. I went to bed at 11 PM and woke up at 4 AM. I tried to go back to sleep but I just couldn't. At 6 AM I got up and got ready for school. After school I was really tired and took an hour long nap, but I was still extremely tired. I went to bed at 9 PM and fell asleep in a second. I woke up at 2:30 AM and tried my best to fall asleep, but it didn't work. Its 6 AM right now and Ive done some homework, as I couldnt do them yesterday because I was so tired. The thing is, this didn't happen in my holiday, and I get really cranky when I don't get enough sleep. Do I have insomnia?

I really need something to help me sleep. After finally getting to sleep I get up 2 or 3 hours later to pee and never get back to sleep. I feel so uncomfortable and achy. I'm only 6 weeks though. Any suggestions?

My mother is a 54 year old woman whose life is controlled by the use of her computer. It's affecting her performance at work (I've seen it) as well as her relationship with her family. She neglects her family and many household chores are left undone or half done. Her personal hygiene has also become vile. Recently, while sitting at her computer I've noticed her falling asleep, only for a few seconds, then waking up again. This happens frequently. So, to be specific, can a cyber-relationship addiction cause narcolepsy?

I'm 19 years old. Since I was little I have suffered a few things: Firstly, I have narcolepsy, and suffer from sleep paralysis. I also get dizziness and fainting spells (although sometimes I can still see just not move) as well as anemia (which I understand is common). On top of that I get bouts of terrible chest pain on my right side when I can't breathe properly, migraines and at times my heart beats irregularly. I was a premature baby and suffered jaundice when I was young, but that's it really. I have gone to the GP about all these problems, the doctors have been treating them as separate issues and I worry that they may all be linked. When I last said this to my GP he told me I might be a hypochondriac and it's all due to stress, which I don't believe. I don't really want keep having it at the back of my mind, should I just forget it or pursue my case further with a different doctor?

I am a 29 year old female. Around 19 years ago, I had slipped capital femoral. Around 6 months ago, the same pain started to occur. I went for a dye injected MRI and the results were inconclusive due to the pins interfering with the magnets. The pain has gone away for the most part with a few outbreaks but about two weeks after the injection, I found a pea-sized hard movable lump in my groin, painless unless manipulated a lot . I spoke to my general practitioner about it going on 6 months ago, and he said keep an eye on it but confirmed it was a swollen lymph node. I am scared to go back but the lump has stayed consistent, possibly enlarged. Should I be worried? I have had insomnia and I have narcolepsy, so it's very rare for me. I am always tired, but again have narcolepsy and hypothyroidism .

Sex and meth.
My wife and I have been doing meth off and on for about 5 years.
It really took our sex lives to a whole new level.
We had been laying off of it the last couple years.. but have started to get it once in awhile again. It's not the same as it was. We would have some WILD and CRAZY sex on it...just a few years ago. Hours and hours of nonstop sex.
But it isn't causing us to do that anymore. Is it the meth that we are now getting? Is it just not a good quality?

I like to masturbate but not in the technical sense of the word. Mine is all about dirty mind games, reminiscing about a good sex I had or imagining my man working on me how I want him to etc.( I don't really have to touch myself , fingering and all that other stuff, if U get what I mean.) The effect is so mind blowing is incredible!!I am usually able to even get an orgasm!! but here is the problem, most of the time, when I get so aroused, I have this sudden urge to pee.I usually withhold the urge a bit longer, and the effect drives me even crazier, (in a sexual way) when I can no longer endure it, I have to make a quick dash to the bathroom if I can get to it in time, and even the gushing out of the pee is sweet and pleasurable in a relieving way.( almost like how guys feel when and after ejaculating)
Am not sure if I am squirting or I am peeing , that's the issue.I have had orgasms before(usually on my own)and when it happens, this peeing nonsense doesn't surface. I have also squirted naturally before so I kind of know the difference. Some fluid like water just gushed out of me 4m nowhere (it wasn't pee) I was in a state of shock myself at the time cuz i was still quiet inexperience. I was dating a total jackass, back then whom (when i think i about it today) did not know anything about female ejaculation. He made me feel so terrible and embarrassed about it, and got me thinking I had a sexual problem. it was after breaking up with him and more years of sexual experience that made me draw the conclusion that I actually squirted!! there have also been a few experiences with my recent ex where after the sex, we realised about half the bed was wet, I mean really wet, like someone literally poured water on the spot, (it didn't smell of pee either) but the interesting thing is we both never notice it until the whole deal is over, and he used to say I probably squirted, so i kinda know about the squirting thing.
My new man works on me really good, its just that every time he starts reaching that particularly moment when I think yeah, I'm about to come, I get the sudden urge to go and pee and I need to stop him before I spray us both with my fluid. when I go to the loo, I actually pee!!!....what's the connection?? I have tried peeing before the sex, but this always happens. I tot it was said that, the urinary tract or something is blocked during sex.
Am I peeing, or squirting or having an orgasm? I have had a few orgasms usually on my own where, this peeing nonsense did not surface. My whole body was just consumed with this feeling I can barely describe, I just remember that I usually feel weak and worn out when its passes. Sometimes I need to sleep or rest a good 10 mins or more before I can start getting naughty again.XD So I know what it feels like to have an orgasm as well.
This peeing feeling is equally sweet but its confusing and frustrating because when I stop to go and pee, I kinda kill the mood, and we have to start building the mood all over again.... and when I decide to hold on a bit, its feels nicer but am too conscious of it and i fear I might pee. Am I normal or I have a urinary tract infection or what? what can i do to stop these peeing urges?

I went to the doctor as i am constantly running to the toilet. I also feel a lot of pressure. I am 46 years old. I am trying to loose weight but can't walk far as i then need to pee. I pee approx 15-20 times a day. Blood tests show no diabetes etc. My doctor examined me and says i have a cystocele, he said it wasn't as bad as he expected going by my symptoms. He did say tho that everything is crammed in there (whatever exactly that means i am not sure) He is referring me to get a pelvic ultrasound and then consult with gynecologist. He thinks i may benefit more from surgery as he thinks the other treatments don't work as well for me.
Anyone had similar symptoms with a mild cystocele?

I gave had groin thigh testicle and penis pain for around three to four weeks, slightly cloudy urine. I have got fed with this pain and went to see the doctor. He tested my urine , no infection or blood. He said straight away that I had kidney stones. I am not getting to much pain in my back. The strange this is, is that the genital pain has gone a bit as too is the stinking when peeing. Could I still have a kidney stone ?

I had my surgery a year ago and just within the last few weeks my unoperated hip has been causing me a lot of pain. I've been walking 3 miles 3 times a week and with my limp it becomes painful to the point that I have to stop and sit down before I can continue. My hip is almost bone on bone and it hasn't bothered me too much but since the surgery it has been causing me pain. My doc said to continue walking because it won't deteriorate the hip any faster.
My operated hip is fabulous.

I keep seeing instructions to use a cane on the opposite side from the knee that has been replaced. Just wondering why. I have been using my cane in my right hand for years, and my right knee is the wobbly one. Now it looks like I will have to retrain myself to use the cane in the left hand after my surgery?

I've been using the implanon for a year now I've had it before and that first time I had no periods at all for a whole year got it removed due to weight gain. This time has been at the opposite I'll have my period and continue spotting the whole month until I get my period once again. Most of the time the spotting is really light but a few day ago I've had a lot of cramps not a lot of spotting but ones I go to the bathroom to pee I have notice little blood clots in the urine. I have made an appointment with my doctor next week for a regular check up. But I do feel a little bit worried it'll be somethings bad! Do you guy think is normal ?

I have had ongoing pain for the past 2 months, worse when breathing in on the right side of my chest. My doctor has diagnosed pleurisy and said it should resolve on its own. I have now developed a very sore collarbone on the opposite (left) side. Could these two symptoms be related? I have health anxiety and am convinced I have terminal breast cancer....silly I know!

I have a prolapsed bowel and had a ventral mesh retrospect major surgery for it and found it hoisted my prolapse up but in doing so it created a situation whereby getting poo from A to B in my colon was a non starter, it just wasn't functioning anymore and I was so frequent I was still post surgery opening my bowels 16 to 22 times a day, 10 plus with two codeine daily and nightly, I've had six years of torture, misdiagnosis etc, things failing to show up on proctograms and colonoscopies so have now asked for an MRI scan as to all accounts I have heard they are more reliable and now at the 11th hour the Consultant is considering it, I feel suicidal, I strain so much I risk brain aneurysm and appendicitis every time I go, it is painful, nothing is being done.
Then my Consultant gave me a course of glycerine suppositories, I took one the first day, the result was buckets of slime, both brown and transparent, infernal internal itching, gross levels of colonic irritation and all sorts of unpleasant - I wont say SIDE effects as these were ACTUAL effects, and I was up all night long didn't get a wink of sleep where instead of the usual on the loo every 20 mins I was on there every ten. I had started the course in the genuine belief it would cause my poo to come down in the desired "one fell swoop" that it hasn't for six years, its been tortuous, but never again will I try glycerin suppositories, glycerin and my backside, a mis match!
The situation now is I have written to both GP and Consultant, requested a MRI scan, as literally every other sort of test has been done multiple times over, and they lie basically they do not show up what is wrong in my genuine experience, hence my having to wait 18 months of this sort of test with the full extent and requirement for surgery not being recognised, yet I was fully prolapsed as was indicated when the surgeon did a "hands on examination" under anaesthetic, I was up till then met with reluctance to believe the symptoms I was experiencing were true and some extremely snotty attitudes, I can tell you, anyway, aside from requesting an MRI, being considered, i am due to have home colonic irrigation but dubious seeing as the pessaries were a complete disaster, but will try anything suggested as i have co operated with every single test they;ve booked me, and I also have made enquiries about an operation that removes part of the colon but unlike with a full colonoscopy you still poo through your anus, as every time i have mentioned this operation they have bypassed and sidetracked me, and tried, yet again to put my complaints about the most severe and difficult to live with of symptoms, down to behavioural and therefore not needing to be treated, because i am also for my sins a schizophrenic, so I feel this is getting political and has been for some time so I am going to get a bit political myself back and suggest these things to the Consultant and point out the shortcomings that I can see where they appear to need a magnifying glass to recognise or admit to the same syndrome, wish me luck, but if you do get offered glycerine suppositories, be warned, as for me they did not bring things down in that which I would beg and plead for readily, in "one fell swoop", I found quite the reverse, they irritated the living daylights out of my colon and kept me awake all night and in great degree of distress, just warning those of us in my position as i feel its my duty really. Keep your chin up everyone out there.
