i've had numbness and tingling in left leg for about 11 weeks now, have had blood tests, all clear, Nerve conduction test came back clear too.. now dr is sending me for an MRI scan as thinks could possibly be my back?
even though i have now back pain as such..
my leg still goes completely numb at times, toes strange tingly and right hand gets pins needles occasionally too
my numbness and tingling in left leg started beginninng of february had full blood tests all came back clear waiting for appointment to see neurologist for nerve induction test , would love to know what causes it. i amm 73 years old
View 1 RepliesI'm a 30 year old female who lately has been going through a tough time. I have always been a worrier, especially when it comes to health. Since I was 9 years old I've worried about different diseases (especially after googling) which made me convinced my life would end several times in my life. Right now I'm going thru a bad phase which I don't know what to do. It all started last year when I started getting lots of numbness and tingling in face and legs. Then in November I started getting left sided chest pain which is 24/7 stabbing pains. I've been to emergency twice since Feb. And they did EKG, xray and blood tests which supposedly came out fine. Then, in February I started getting heart palpitations, skipping beats. At this point I was convinced I have heart disease. 3 weeks ago the mild dizziness started where I felt I was gonna faint. During the time it started I remember going out to eat with my hubby and kids and I literally felt like I was not there, as if I was in another planet, everything felt unreal. I've been really tired too. I've been seeing a cardiologist who did an EKG, heart Echo. And tomorrow I'm having a stress test and a holter monitor for 24 hours. He thinks its anxiety. But I am not convinced. I'm just extremely scared of dying because I have 3 children who are all under 7 years old. By the way, I did want to mention that from October thru March I was going thru a big worry with the law. Don't want to get into details but I was very worried for 5 months that I was going to go to jail. Everything turned out fine however, I don't know if that worry triggered physical anxiety symptoms.
View 35 RepliesI was diagnosed with oa in 2012 via x ray of my left knee since then its got a lot worse over the last year my foot goes numb and tingly only after standing a few seconds to the point i nearly fall over ! my hips and back also ache ! ive been to the doctors so many times with this ! all they do is give me pain relief and exercise which is just 1 big circle cant excersise because of the numbness ! im 51 and the doctor says im too young for a knee replacement and that they only last 10 years ! ive also had the knee injections ! now all my limbs seem achey and the back of my neck now as slight pain and i feel like im drunk all the time my next appointment is not for another 2 weeks and i feel like the doctor is fed up with me !

View 1 RepliesI wonder if anyone else has had numbness and tingling in extremities? My GP had thought that the issues in my right hand were due to carpal tunnel and related to my swollen elbows. I had thought the numb toes on my right foot I had in winter was due to raynauds. But it's summer now, my elbows are much better, but I'm waking every night from numbness and tingling in left and right hands and right toes and heel.
I don't see this listed as a side effect of plaquenil or as a symptom of lupus. It's not a huge deal, but does result in less sleep. Does anyone else have this or know the cause?
I am forty five years old and was given a confirmed diagnosis of RRMS in 2009. Since my dx I have been on one DMD, Rebif. I was on it for a year and had to stop due to the side effects. Right now I am med free except for vitamin D supplements. For the past 3 months I have had numbness and intermittent tingling in my right ear canal. I feel numb above my ear (mastoid bone) as well as behind ear. The numbness does not go away however I do experience tingling intermittently. I also have reduced sensation on the right side of my forehead and head. My ear feels full and the sensations I feel are strange. I notice it more at night.
My primary doctor and my MS specialist are not aware of my latest symptoms because I have had sensory issues for years and I am assuming this is all MS related. I am wondering if anyone else here has had similar symptoms. I have no pain just the numbness and tingling.
I will be seeing my specialist sometime in the New Year to review my MRI of brain and C spine. It was ordered almost a year ago (routine) MS doc just wants to see the disease process as he wants me on another DMD. I just had the MRI a week before Christmas.
Having MS is difficult because whenever I have health symptoms I automatically think it is MS related and so I just leave it alone and don't go to the doctor. I am worried that perhaps I could be hindering my health by assuming everything is MS related. Anyways, thanks for reading this I have been lurking for some time and today I decided to post.
I'm a 41 yr old who has been suffering with tingling and numbness in my face, hands and feet and my tongue deviates slightly to the right. I have also had periods of dizziness. I have been hospitalized twice in the last month. Every test has come back negative... One neurologist suggested I could be having Tia while another said its not. I have a strong feeling that my menstrual cycle may play a part in this. I was looking at post from 2011 and their were other women who have similar symptoms!

It is not carpal tunnel. I am wondering if I injured it by nursing my 2 year old. I had dull pain the moves around from my upper arm to forearm and sometimes my knuckles. I stopped nursing 3 weeks ago and no more dull ache. But I have constant tingling when I use my arm. I am afraid my arm is permanently damaged. I noticed pain and tingling back in June but took it easy and changed my nursing position.
I have woken up this morning with numbness and pain in my legs. It seems to be getting worse and moving up my body anyone got any ideas what this could be?

I don't have any pain. I also have a slight case of scoliosis. Its not visible but it might be a contribution to the numbness in my leg?

View 2 RepliesLast month i had a very bad bout with the flu. My whole body was paining. It started with my upper legs. Almost like someone gave me charlie horse in my muscles. Then my feet and bottom of my feet started paining. I could not even walk. I wore memory foam slippers on my feet the few times out of bed. My hands had the same painful sensitive sensations as my feet. a few days later my lungs started to hurt and I had something pneumonia. When i started recovering, the pain and numb sensations stayed on the bottom of my feet, my hands legs and arms. Not to mention the weakness that still exist in my limbs. Also, which is confusing and worrying me most now is the numbness on my face and in my mouth, it feels like dental freezing leaving my mouth. It's been at least a month since i recovered from the flu. I have seen my Dr. and have been scheduled for a CT scan. Has anyone had these symptoms before?
View 4 RepliesI've been having numbness in my testicle and groin area since having a colonoscopy about three weeks ago. The groin will get so numb I can barely feel my rectum area and occasionally I have numbness also in left or right leg from the knee down to the feet. I also have a dull pain in the testicles whenever I urinate while sitting. When either leg is numb it actually affects the way I walk. I had a CT Scan last week and it showed bulging disk. Doc wants me to do another CT Scan tomorrow of a different angle. Any clue to what might be going on? I also have arthritis in just about every joint.
View 1 RepliesI am 41 years old and have been taking this drug for the past 7 years (As at April '09) I suffer from all the symptoms; sickness, numbness, tingling etc. I forget to take it more than I remember. The advice I give is:- unless it affects you as a driver then don't worry about it but if you are concerned then speak to your doctor. I am a professional driver (Coaches) and if I went off sick every time I had a side effect, I would never work again. Then I would get bored.
