I'm a 17 year old male with no previous health issues etc.
I noticed on saturday morning (about 40 hours ago) that there was a very small painless lump on my left testicle near the epididymis. Although I plan to make an appointment with the GP tomorrow I was wondering if anyone could give any advice or information about it. Has anyone else experienced a small lump in this area?
I'm 16 and have a small lump a little more than half way up my shaft, underneath the skin, on the front side of my penis (the side towards me). i have had it for years and was just wondering what it might be. it has never been painful or changed in size If anything it has felt good if i put pressure on it when i masturbate. It is colorless, hard, and about the size of a grain of rice. It is most noticeable when i am erect but is not very noticeable unless you feel for it. it can be felt when i'm soft and stays about the same size.
View 4 RepliesMy mom has a lump in her sides, i couldn't quite understand if it is considered as a breast (because it is in the side and not literally on the breast) or armpit (because it is already below the armpit) lump. It started to be small but then grew bigger after a while it also became painful and suddenly looked like a bruise, she also felt a little numbness in her arm, after some time putting organic medicine it turned smaller and painless but right now it is not yet gone. 1st question: is it to be identified as a breast or armpit lump? 2nd question: what might be the diagnosis for both cases (or what is the difference of diagnosis if it is identified under armpit lump or if it is identified under breast lump)? i really couldn't find any reference to a lump that is painful then turned painless

View 2 RepliesA few days ago my boyfriend and i went to the beach. I left my suit on all day after swimming, and we walked everywhere. I'm pretty sure there was sand in my suit also. We had sex that night like most nights. The next morning my vagina was sore- externally not internally. It's been about 3 days, and now it feels like there a little cut right where the lips meet at the top, and it is extremely sore right outside the bottom of my vaginal opening. When i pee, the urine hits my vagina and it burns like crazy! I also have about 10 small bumps that are beneath the skin, they almost feel like zits, but are not painful at all. Those also didn't show up until yesterday. My boyfriend has been my only sexual partner for over 6 months, and before that i had sex once over a year ago. So i doubt it's an STD. This is the first problem I've had down there so if it's something obvious.

I do masturbate frequently and one day I just happen to notice that there were some very small bumps on the shaft of my penis. I've always had a few pimple like bumps on my penis for as long as I can remember. They can even be popped. But these new bumps are not the same thing. I haven't had sex in over a year and a half.
View 1 RepliesI felt some pain in my right testicle on Tuesday, it soon disappeared. Then last night (Friday) it was feeling a bit painful again after ejaculating, which hasn't happened before. Since it was only the right testicle I had a quick check (even got a warm shower) and felt a small lump about the size of a pinhead. I'm pretty sure it's on the testicle itself - although I find it hard to say where the lump is because it seems to be different (I guess that's just the movement of the testicle) it's near the top, where all the tubes attach, it feels as if there's a tube that actually runs to the lump. I wouldn't say it was painful but when I push or wiggle it, it gives me that kicked in the balls kind of pain, just scaled down quite a bit. Right now I just feel a bit of an annoyance down there, I did masturbate about an hour ago to see if it brought on pain again, but it didn't.
Some additional information: I remember that there was a period, probably around six months ago, when my testicles would sometimes hurt then running, but I thought nothing of it.
I'm in my late teens and now I'm really worried, could barely eat last night after I found the small lump. All of today I've been feeling worried, even bailed out of my plans for tonight. On the one hand I really want to get it checked out especially since I'm going on vacation next week, like with anything, I get overly worried, but on the other hand I do not like the thought of the doctor checking out my balls and I feel really anxious about telling my parents. How can I just go up to my mum and say 'I just found a lump on my balls' would I even say balls? It's just so awkward; we've never spoke about anything like that.
I don't really know why I'm on here. I know that I really should go get it checked out, I also know that I don't necessarily have to tell my parents but I'd rather them know, I think.. I mean I don't even know how to book a doctor's appointment, never mind one for a matter like this.
The thought that this is could be Cancer just makes me feel awful, I want to just say to my self that it's probably nothing, but I can't. 24 hours ago I had nothing on my mind and was looking forward to the weekend, now I can't stop googling this and feeling my balls. Whenever I think to do something to get my mind at rest, such as watching TV or going out I just think NO that's not going to change anything, I know I can't just sit back, but I don't know what to do!
I am 19 and about a year ago I started experiencing some aching in my testicles so I had an ultrasound scan, everything was good. Now, I have noticed in the bath on my right testicle a lump, but I only notice it in hot water, what could this be? I am worried it is a sign of cancer. I have a doctor's appointment booked for a week's time.
Does anyone know how long an ultrasound scan is valid for too?
I'm 16 and for the last few months I felt a lump on the outer side of my left testicle. Its not like it hurts or swollen like what I hear to look for in article and videos I seen. But the lump concerns me and I feel pain on my caves that feel like its being pulled. The lump might be nothing it could be a bug bite that I'm thinking to hard into.
View 1 RepliesI am 39 years old. I have a lump about one and a half to two centimetres in size on the left side of my neck midway between my ear and collar bone. It has been there for at least over a year and a half, possibly longer. It is hard (feels like a round bone) and painless, even when firmly pressed. There is no colouration or abnormality on the skin above or around the lump. I have seen several doctors at the same hospital here in Japan where I live (they keep referring me to different departments within the same hospital), all of whom say it is either a schwannoma or a lymph node tumor. They also tell me that there is a high risk of performing a biopsy (needle or open) because there are a lot of nerves in the area of the neck where the lump is located. All of this has also been explained to me in either low-level English, or fast Japanese which I am not good at. It has been extremely frustrating, as I feel I haven't received a great explanation of any diagnoses or what my options are. I have been referred once again to another doctor, this time in the ENT department, by a doctor in the oncology department whom I saw today, my 4th visit (and department!) to date.
View 1 RepliesI'm a teenager and around 2 months ago I started to notice a dull ache in my left testicle, I ignored it and it went away after a few weeks, then a few weeks after no discomfort, the dull ache returned to my left testicle, soon radiating to my right testicle. After a examination I discovered a small mass on the top of my testicle, I don't think it is attached as I can get my finger between the mass and my testicle. I have also been experiencing a dull stomach ache like ive been kicked in the balls and my legs have also been aching but that has stopped. As I am typing this I still have the mass above my right testicle which has gotten a little bigger and I also have this dull stomach ache which is always there! I do not wan't to visit the doc because I simply don't want anybody feeling my testicles (Forgot to mention, Lump is size of pea, Quite small and feels oval shaped and I have also experienced groin pain, like I have pulled a muscle or something the groin pain has since vanished)

For the last couple of years, I've had what seems to be a semi-hard painless raised "bump" or "lump" about the size of a nickel on the upper rear portion of my scalp below my hair.
As far as I can tell, the bump hasn't "grown" much in recent years, and it's completely painless. Additionally, if I "push" it, it seems to move back and forth under the skin and above the skull.
Since I've never had any pain from it, I sometimes forget it's there. That said, I'd love to hear what it might be. I haven't had health coverage for a little while, and I'm a tiny bit concerned if it's something very serious - hopefully not.
I had a vasectomy going on 8 days ago. The procedure was said to have gone well. I bruised quite badly and my scrotum and area up into my groin (mainly right side and above penis) swelled remarkably. The swelling has gone done significantly the last two days and my bruising is looking mildly better. My issue at present is my right testicle is sitting much higher than my left testicle. The left looks to be resting normally, and the right feels almost attached to the base of my penis. There is still some mild swelling above my penis on the right side in the groin. The swelling feels hard in the groin and runs down and meets the top of my right testicle.
you can imagine this is uncomfortable, but not outrageously painful. I can see my mobility being hampered if the right teste does not descend lower in a more normal resting position. Is this a normal experience that eventually resolves itself?
I have a small red/pink lump on the top of thigh which looks like a bite. It's about the size of a bite, a bit smaller than a 5p. I went to the doctors about 4 weeks ago and he didn't seem concerned and said it was an inflamed hair follicle. I was wondering whether if there has been an infection or inflamed tissue it takes a long time to go away or it leaves scarred tissue. I am really worried about cancer as my mum had breast cancer last year. I am only 20 but im paranoid that its a cancerous lump as its hard and doesn't move.
View 2 RepliesToday after passing a stubborn stool I noticed a small, soft-ish fleshy lump outside of my anus. From what I've read I think it might be a hemorrhoid, but I don't know for sure since it seems like those are supposed to be hard. There is not bleeding, it is painless and is most noticeable just after using the bathroom or straining, and I suspect will retreat entirely if I leave it alone and go back to my usual diet. (I ate horribly today because of the holiday. I am prone to digestive issues and what I find I need to avoid persistent abdominal pain and stubborn stools completely includes 4-6 servings daily of fruit, 3-5 of veggies, and yogurt a few times a week. I ate almost none of those things today or yesterday.) Finding a lump down there has me really nervous, and I wanted to make sure it will be okay if I don't rush off to the doctor to get it looked at immediately. Obviously if it becomes painful or bleeds I will go ASAP. If it doesn't go away in a few days would it be safe to just leave it for two weeks while I finish my classes? If it does appear to go away should I still be concerned?

View 1 Repliesi have recently been worried because i have found a small red lump on the inside of my labia minora or whatever it's called... i'm worried it might be herpes but i've never had sex or done anything remotely sexual (im 14 lol) so does anybody know what it is? It disappears sometimes then reappears... i'm not going to post a picture because umm that would be weird but yeah. I've googled it and it says that it could be herpes but in all the things i've read, people who have got it have had sex so can someone help because i'm kind of scared that in the future it may affect me if you know what i mean...
View 1 RepliesDr has assured me that it is one pile but after a bowel cancer scare, I worry about anything abnormal! It is just inside my anus and no pain, itching or blood. The ointment has had no effect after 10 days or so. It could have been there for much longer, I just might not have noticed it. I did strain when I was able to have bowel movements again after the tumour was removed but usually they are quite soft. I think I panicked and overdid it in case there was another blockage. How long before they disappear? I am worried that it is not piles but the beginning of another cancer problem. I just wish it would go away!
