Everytime I swallow or clench my throat I hear a loud clicking Sound in my ears. A few months ago I had 2 inner ear Infections.
Is the sound from the Eustachian tubes and is it a form of eustachian tube dysfunction?

I think my clitoris is rip or torn after i fell down the stairs. i'm so scared. Where my labia meets at the top, instead of it meeting at the bottom of my clitoris, it meets a little higher into my clitoris, like in the centre of it(looks like a rip). it looks like it split down the middle to the bottom. Is this normal? will it heal itself and form back to a "full" clitoris with no rip? I started bleeding yesterday but now that the bleeding stopped (only spotting) . can the clitoris be ripped? I know it was my clitoris that was bleeding because i can see some blood stain on the "rip" area.
i drew a picture to make it a little easier to understand, if it does.
My outer labia is swollen and black now. will the colour fade and shrink back in size. how long will it take? I'm 22

How long before you go up and down stairs after the op. I understand that the doctors will try and get me up and walking in the afternoon of my op. But stairs....

Does anyone know if it is ok to use stairs immediately you get home from surgery. I live in a mill house, which has 3 floors and I am concerned about how I will manage these. Has anybody been given any information regarding this issue?

I've had a lot of very useful info from this forum since I joined not so long ago - thank you all very much! I have a couple of questions:
1) Post LTHR op to exercise must I walk outside, or can I walk just inside the house (difficult terrains outside the house)? Has anyone in this situation just walked inside the house and got better?
2) Will I need to move the bed downstairs, or will I be able
to use the stairs? Does the PT practice stairs while still in hospital?

I am a 60 year old women that ran for over 45 years and I always had a low heart rate and blood pressure around 110/70. Lately my heart rate is as low as 43 and my blood pressure is either low or semi-hi. My blood pressure can be as low as 93/53 or as high as 130/90 and the heart rate can climb up to 110 only when climbing the stairs or squatting down, I normally would not worry about this but I am getting a lot of lightheadedness, (on the verge of passing out) and sometimes I have a balance problem with the lightheadedness but not all the time. I haven't ran for about 20 months due to the balance problem and lightheadedness.

I've been suffering with pains in my hips, causing problems with walking and standing. On a bad day the stairs are difficult to climb. This has been going on for about a year now. In the last 6 months or so I have developed a sciatic like pain, only happening when standing up and walking to far. The last few days it's been getting worse and I now have pins and needles in my legs and feet. Sometimes both legs but mostly my left. The sciatic pain is only ever in the left side of my buttock. When I try to stand, I am simply unable to put any weight onto my left leg for a while. I'm 31 years old and a mother to 4 plus work. The doctors keep brushing me off because of my age but I'm sure what I am experiencing isn't right.

So I dislocated my knee in January of this year. I was given a device that isolates my knee cap and hold it in place. I wore the device off and on over the year whenever my knee would feel sort of irregular. I worked out routinely to help strengthen my knee, it helped the pain somewhat, but mostly just made me feel better about the way I looked, and kept me healthy. I haven't worked out since some time before Thanksgiving. Starting this week i've started to feel this new akward feeling behind my kneecap, sort of like the ligament behind my knee cap is tightening, sort of similar to how it felt when I dislocated my knee, but not exactly the same. I get the pain after fully bending my knee, for example when I am on my knees doing my job stocking shelves at work, when I stand to my feet I can usually feel the pain. I try doing a couple of different stretches when to make the feeling go away a bit, but it comes back, and then it eventually goes away again.
My knee "pops" (makes a loud popping noise and pressure) pretty regularly now but when I get off of work and off of my knees I experience the discomfort much less. I want to start exercising again on Monday, but I am scared I might dislocate again. I will try using the knee cap device again tomorrow, but I feel as though whenever I use the device, it makes my knee feel like jello the next day, and make me want to use the device again, even though I was advised by my doctor that I should not need to use it regularly. ....

hi I seem to have woken up this morning with what looks like an indent on the right side of my new knee. It was completely round last night but now has a dent in it. I am nearly 21 weeks post TKR. Anyone had anything similar and why this is?

I have an ACL ligament tear in my left knee. This happened about five years ago. I was on waiting list & got a call to do surgery, but then I got pregnant, so I had to go back on waiting list. It must be a long list because I am still waiting. They have looked at it again because of the soreness around the knee when I walk. My doctor told me I have mild arthritis in my left knee now, but can still go through surgery.
This past week, I was in a situation where I didn't do much walking, laid around for most of day. I didn't have a pillow to use for my knee to be propped up, so I just used my right leg or had my left leg on its side when I laid down on my left side. I don't feeling anything around my knee now. It is numb! Would anyone know what is wrong? I tried to apply ice to it, but I can't feel it. I still can walk ok, though. Thanks!

I am 42 yrs old and had a Partial Knee Replacement done on Jan 6th...outpatient...went to first PT the next morning. Wasn't too bad...2nd was a little rougher and I was in more pain. 3rd visit had a different therapist and she pushed me beyond what I thought I was ready for. She basically forced bended my knee and forced straighten it..said it's to keep scar tissues from interfering with recovery...this was extremely painful. I am curious to if this is normal protocol on your 3rd visit of PT..which was 7 days post op...I was in soo much pain I could not go to my next PT. Plus I have bruising on my ankle from her force bending with her body weight...I figured I would go back on Monday when my normal Therapist will be there....I have made progress with bending and straightening and don't think I should be rushed like that...I am still in alot of pain but am able to walk around house without crutches. I have been icing and elevating along with doing my homework PT.

I am a 31 year old female about to have a TKR due to severe arthritis caused by PVNS. Currently I have very weak quads and calves in my bad knee from major loss of knee extension. I've heard that it's really hard to go into replacement surgery with weak muscles. I was wondering if I should get a knee brace for after surgery to help with some support until I get my strength back? Has anyone tried these webbing braces and if so do they help? I know some of the immobilizing braces actually cause atrophy.

Somebody said to me the other day that the metal in a knee replacement will be detected by security, so you have to have a letter from your doctor/surgeon. Does anybody know about/have experience of this please?

Can TMJ cause clicking on only one side of the jaw or does it generally affect both sides? Do different intensity levels
of night teeth grinding affect how much damage is done to the jaw parts? Can TMJ cause mild ear pain?
