month of Feb 2014 i have sex with my ex girlfriend month of March 2014 i have white discharge every morning, pain in urinating and itchy sensation go to urologist and he said i have gonorrhea without any test, he describe me an injection and medicine 2x a day for 1 week. the symptoms gone and after a month its there again, then my doctor describe again a medicine, then symptoms are gone again then few months its there again. few months without taking anymore medicine the symptoms are gone. i thought i have no gonorrhea. then
month of May 2015 i have a girlfriend we always have sex, he had no symptoms of gonorrhea in past months until when we 8 months {month of January 2016} we have sex and a day after we sex she said she's pain while and after urinating and itchy inside of her vagina. (note: she have 2 ex boyfriend that she have sex with before we. 1st relationship; they both virgin, 2nd: the guy is virgin)
*and i have no other sexual partner, im loyal to her
*i have no symptoms of gonorrhea for almost 2 years
Question:1. have i infected her?
2.is my gonorrhea is still there?

A few months ago I engaged in brief fellatio from a women who was not my girlfriend (before coming to my senses). This is something I deeply regret and was very drunk at the time. I have since found out that Gonorrhoea can be contracted – albeit very low risk.
About two weeks after this exposure, I was prescribed with a short course of doxycycline due to a facial skin infection, I have also learnt that this can treat some STD’s (unaware at the time of prescription). It’s been 8 weeks since I finished my doxycycline course and I have had sex with my girlfriend on multiple occasions during this period. Do to guilt and worry, I decided to get tested yesterday (thankfully all negative).
1.This may be a very naïve question but I assume that if I am negative my girlfriend is also negative?
2.Is there any way I could have infected my girlfriend before taking the doxycycline and then tested negative or would I have re-infected myself over the last 8 weeks?

Yesterday was quite the day. I've always had a fear of STDs, I'm not sure why, I'm just a germo. I've gotten better as I've gotten older, but I've tried to be careful to protect myself. Yesterday, my girlfriend received test results from her gyno appointment. She apparently requested a full battery of tests, to try and fully ease my mind as we discussed my worries in the past and she was confident she didn't have anything. Well, it turns out she test positive for HSV2. Bummer. We've been dating for 5 months, probably have sex about 3 times a week on average. We have used condoms every time except twice. She was quite shocked, as was I. I didn't, and don't know what to say. Statistically speaking, I know the odds I contracted it are very small. Most of the data I've read indicate somewhere around 2% per year from female to male with regular condom use. I believe her when she says she didn't know she had it, else why come clean now.
I guess the point of this thread...I'm searching for advice. Has anyone dealt with this situation? I'm sure they have. Finding out down the road that their partners has herpes. What did you do? What mental steps did you take to move forward? What options do I have?
As far as I can figure if I want to try and stay with her, perhaps just suggesting we don't have sex while I sort through this is a good approach. I care a lot for her, but I'm also realistic. Taking the risk of contracting it (assuming I haven't already) is a big risk even if statistically small as women I'd date in the future I'd obviously have to tell assuming I tested positive. I've always had trouble connecting with others, so limiting the future dating pool sounds like a bad choice. ANY thoughts are appreciated. My brain can't seem to spit them out.

I just had tubes put in both ears 6 days ago. I got the flu and had both ears infected. The pressure and pain is gone, but now I'm talks by ina tunnel and my hearing is diminished. I think I'm draining, because when I use my ciprodex drops...I swear I taste it in the back of my throat. How lucky big is this gonna last? Will my hearing go back to normal? Im 23 yrs male, got circumcised 2 weeks ago due to phimosis, everything was fine but from 4 days after removal of bandage there is thick liquid producing below the glans at incision line, it is painful like burning, my doctor said it infected. He advised me to take anti biotic injections but I was fed up with those injections bcoz I hv taken antibiotics for five days after circumcision. So he given some tablets. and also i'm using ointment called SOFRAMYCIN, is it safe to use this ointment directly on affected area? Is it will stop the infection? On 16th September 2014 I was cut by a paper cutting knife on my finger and the cut is not deep. There is little blood coming out. 10 minutes before that the same knife cut a person with unknown hiv status and his cut was deeper than me. Am i at the risk of hiv infection? I was recently diagnosed with Gonorrhea, the doctor gave me antibiotics. I was also got tested for HIV and the result was negative. But right now, I am terrified because CDC links gonorrhea and hiv co-infection. I don't exactly when I got the gonorrhea, but I believe maybe within 2 months only, and I got treated. My question is, was there a chance that I might have been exposed to HIV as well? assuming the person who gave me gonorrhea was also co-infected with HIV? I am very terrified now as the negative result I got from HIV was too soon, and the test might have not picked up. Please advise on this as I'm really scared. The past 3 months I only performed unprotected oral sex, no orgasm inside my mouth, but there could have been cuts and I didn't notice. I had done oral sex with different persons lately. What are the chances of me getting the HIV as well?

I have a girlfriend, about a month ago I had sex outside my relationship with an escort. The condom broke. I was worried about chlamydia and gonorrhea immediately. Although I never got any kind of burning sensation or coloured discharge.
few days after the encounter I saw my GP and asked him for treatment, without testing. A positive test result cold potentially have devastating effect and word would get out believe it or not. So the doctor gave me a course of azithromycin for 5 days along with a course of doxycycline for a week.
Two weeks after that I found our that the medicine he gave me does not cure gonorrhea only chlamydia. Also at the same time I was told by my girlfriend that she thinks she has a yeast infection. to be on the safe side I treated her and myself again with cefixime 400 for 1 week and 1 gram of azithromycin on the first day followed by 500mg the second day.
We are now a week on from that treatment, and I still have doubts about myself. My girlfriend's "yeast infection" has cleared up almost completely. But for me I have a weird feeling in my penis, almost like a slight itchiness inside. Also I feel as if there is always a drop left that I need to squeeze out, and when I do squeeze it I get the teeniest drop of clear fluid that comes out, also my testicles feel itchy (not sure if this is related). At first I just thought it was my mind overthinking and me worrying that was doing this... but now I'm quite sure that things are not normal
I dont want this to ruin our relationship as we have two children together, and I need any treatment to happen in secret. I can get my hands on any medication that is required quite easily.
1- What do I do about myself? Is there any additional meds I need to take? Do I need the intramusclar injection of Ceftriaxone??
2- Do I need to do anything about my girlfriend? especially since I cant tell her what has happened for the sake of our kids!! Is she fine if she is symptom free? Could she be cured with the course of antibiotics I gave her? Please note she also took anti fungal meds at the same time.

I am in a relationship for around a year now. Almost overtime we had sex I had some smelly whitish or not colored discharge for a few days. Sometimes we didn't have sex at all and healed by itself and sometimes it took a while till it goes away completely. Also in the beginning of our relationship I had some issues with my period. Is it possible that I had gonorrhea all the time but he didn't have symptoms and healed by himself. He was working on his bachelor degree and he was completely out of shape because of that. Is there any chance that he had the symptoms for the first time ever this week because his immune system got weak or something. I am gonna have a test for fertility because our doctor told us that if I had it all the time, there is a high chance that I might got barren.

I am a gay male who has had confirmed gonorrhea and has been treated successfully (injection with antibiotics and regular tablets).
My GP insists that I also undergo a HIV test, since gonorrhea and HIV are often contracted together. I got the gonorrhea from unprotected oral sex. At the same time I also had protected anal sex (as a top).
While I wasn't that concerned, I started to develop a minor rash on my chest, shoulders and arms. Could this be a HIV primary infection rash or could it be due to the antibiotics (ten days ago), stress.

I had unprotected anal sex (giving and receiving) and caught gonorrhea over a month ago. Had burning on urination and penis discharge especially in the morning. I received treatment and symptoms subsided from the urinary tract. However, I'm suspecting a persistent rectal problem. There is discomfort with bowel movements, and faeces are greenish brown and not solid (abit leafy almost). I live in an extremely homophobic country, so theres no way I can get checked for a possible anal STD without the risk or persecution. Please advise. Should I repeat the treatment for a 3rd time?
