Around 6 months back, I had a painless, flesh colored boil in the outer lips of my vagina (pubic area), which I ignored assuming it was an ingrown hair. Now around three days back, I got another boil (slightly bigger than the first one) on the public area itself.
I've had only one sexual partner, and never had sex with him without a condom. I am scared of what it is though, can it be a genital wart?
I had an unprotected sex encounter with a CSW since the condom broke 8 weeks ago. I now see a red raised spot to the left of my penis on the genital area which I suspect to be a wart. I am worried but mostly I am worried if I had passed it to my wife since I had unprotected sex twice with her within a week of the exposure. My wife had not complained yet of symptoms and we are currently staying far from each other and will be like that at least for another year due to personal constraints.
Is there a timeframe when I could have turned contagious or I could have transmitted the virus to her already? How can I ascertain for sure that my wart is indeed a genital wart and not any other wart. Should I wait for my wife to notice symptoms as I heard that the virus is usually suppressed by immune system?
All my Sti tests are negative at 8 week mark.
I have some small, painless, bumps on the shaft of my penis and they do not hurt and do not itch or anything. I do masturbate frequently and one day I just happen to notice that there were some very small bumps on the shaft of my penis. I've always had a few pimple like bumps on my penis for as long as I can remember. They can even be popped. But these new bumps are not the same thing. I haven't had sex in over a year and a half.
View 1 RepliesThe other day I found a small lump on my labia majora (no larger than a pinky fingernail), and taking a closer look at it, it seems to be a spot or boil of some form, though there doesn't seem to be a head. It's red around the area, a little painful and it seems to have some pus like liquid just under the skin.
After having a hot soak this morning it appeared to have had a pin prick sized hole and yellowy fluid started seeping out. I'm unsure if I should continue squeezing it to get the pus out, or put some tissue on it and wait to see a doctor.
I had a spot just under my vagina for about 6 months. It has recently changed into 2 white hanging bits, please see pic. It doesn't hurt, only feel it when I'm washing. I do get waxed so unsure if it may be related?

I was diagnosed with a rare yeast infection and bacterial infection. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the sores are from yeast, but I'm so afraid it's herpes.

It hurts when i sit down and it looks like a white bump when i checked it out myself. It hurts to touch too and the butthole stays enlarged after i clean myself after going to the bathroom. It doesn't stay enlarged all day though only for like 5 minutes after i use the bathroom and clean up. What do i do? View 1 RepliesI'm 16 and I have some kind of boil on my scrotum that's been bothering me for about a year. Sometimes it's hard, sometimes, it's soft and I would like to know what it exactly is. I also get lots of boils in my inner thigh region as well. I usually just rub Bengay on them for temporary relief. They're very common and I'm kind of embarrassed to tell my doctor because I have one testicle. I feel like him looking at it while I have one testicle will trigger a lot questions.
My sister also experiences these boils in her inner thigh and has a massive boil or cyst it may be in her armpit. It's kind of the boil/cyst I have on my scrotum. Her doctor one day attempted to draw out some of the fluid for testing but since the boil was to hard, he didn't get deep enough to draw any fluid. This was a really painful process for my sister and it still is. My brother had run ins in the past with boils when he was younger showing up on his buttocks. So to conclude everything, I need answers, quick.
I found a lump that felt like a pimple but on the inside of my skin it was really hard like a boil it got to painful so so I popped it had white pus inside then I squeezed it more it started to bleed now today is starting to just be clear is this a sign for being a boil ....
View 1 RepliesWell I had a small boil on the inside of my nose for months and it just wouldn't go away. I visited my NHS Dr who prescribed some cream, nothing happened - he advised to continue using it and suggested perhaps getting it cut off. Anyway I visited the Dr at work who advised getting it cut off which I thought would be end of it. But to my dismay they did a biospy on it and found out it was Sarcoidosis. My mum has this so I was aware of it. I was devasted. This followed with CT scans, lung test, blood test which confirmed Sarcoidosis on the lungs and enlarged nymph nodes. After a long consultation it was decided not to treat it yet as I had no other systems. But a couple of months later I developed a cough, two months later I am still coughing and on exertion (netball albiet quite a bit of running around) I end up having a sort of ashtma attack. Anyway to cut a long story short this is all related and have been prescribed steriods and some other stuff to counteract the side effects. I am really reluctant to take them but after reading the different views on this site with all the different effect I feel I should start taking them (waiting for the NHS to reluctantly prescribe them) before it gets worse. I am wondering now if I have had this for ages as the symptoms of tiredness, aching neck and shoulders I have always had but just thought it was me. My mum was diagnosed 20 years or so ago and it has only just flared up again but in the bones of her ankle. She has trouble breathing which they have said is asthma...

I've seen my doctor several times (another appointment next week) and he says that it's fine for me to have sex, and that I should do some dilation on my own at home. Well, I've been trying to do the dilation, but I can't even get a small anal plug to fully go in. It's as if there's a restriction up there--which can be felt, it's similar to a ring, and it feels like a scar tissue of some sort...
Anyway, I'm just looking to find some people who have had similar experiences, and am looking to hear from people who have had this problem and maybe have had some better results in terms of having sex again. It's really bumming me out. I'm 23 and I feel like this problem is going to linger with me forever.
Just a couple weeks ago I had a bump forming right next to my nostril and directly on my cheek. I've had it for over two weeks and just yesterday I had it checked by my doctor and she prescribed me a topical solution ( smells a lot like alcohol) called Clindamycin Phosphate. I've done everything she had mentioned to me as far as putting a warm compress on my face which I have done the past couple nights and later applying the solution. Well, just a while ago as I was searching for some advice, I twitched my nose then all of a sudden I felt a tingle on my face and was in a way relieved to see that the boil had popped! I washed my hands, took a q-tip and just dabbed all the puss and blood out. Not sure if I'm doing anything incorrectly since I can't seem to get all the puss out of it since the bump is still there. I waited it out a bit before washing my face for the rest of the blood to come out since it was still dripping a bit. I gently washed my face with aveeno and waited for it to dry as I later dabbed the solution on the boil which stung like bloody murder >;) ! I'm very worried that this bump will remain on my face as this is the very first time in my life to experience such a traumatizing experience. If there is any help, please I beg you, how do you treat a boil/pimple after it hasn't completely drained?? Should I just wait it out and continue to use my prescription? My doctor told me I didn't need a follow up for it, but I'm so worried I can't help it! Should I continue to apply a warm compress twice a day? What should I do?
View 13 RepliesFor a long time now (so long I can't remember exactly how many years), I've been getting painful boil type spots on my tummy. When they 'erupt' they are large red boils, extremely painful if they catch on something as I'm doing housework it feels like someone is stabbing me with a hot poker. Eventually they burst and pus, water and blood comes out (sorry tmi).
When they aren't too bad they'll be like purple red hard patches under the skin. They run from just under my breasts to my thighs, there doesn't appear to be a pattern to them, they aren't limited to a particular area they are just everywhere.
A doctor saw them once, told me they were boils and I should lose weight (I had just had a baby). I was so mortified I never went back. I hate the way they look, I'm ashamed of how they make me look.
I've had this sore on my inner thigh groin area that will. not. heal. I have seen 2 doctors and a dermatologist. No infection. No MRSA. It's just a sore that's about an inch 1/2 long and a 1/2 inch wide. You can feel all the scar tissue underneath and when it gets irritated it swells up. Then hurts. Then drains puss and blood. Then starts the process over. I've been on 4 different antibiotics (which I don't understand since there's no infection) they've put me on hormones (birth control) to see if that's what is causing it. It's this gross purple scar and it hurts and it won't heal. This has been going on for almost exactly a year! A whole year!!!! Doctor's have no idea what it is so my dermatologist diagnosed it as chronic dermatitis.

View 4 RepliesI have a small, smooth and shiny red spot on the underside of my penis shaft that is about a 1/2 inch in diameter. If I push the skin together the skin gets white and very wrinkly. When I first noticed it there was a very, very small amount of dry flaking skin on it. It isn't elevated at all and the border isn't defined. It isn't painful and it doesn't itch, but it just has that look that something isn't right and I'm worried. I have no other symptoms of STD's and I went to a clinic only for them to tell me that it looks like skin irritation. I noticed it about 6 hours after I had protected sex, but I do remember the condom was starting to unroll and that spot was exposed. Also, the same time I noticed the rash, I had a sore throat and I felt rather ill that day. I suppose that could be coincidental but I am very worried. Any ideas?
View 5 RepliesToday I had a Flexible Cystoscopy .i have to say I was really worried about this .i to had read lots of horror stories and got myself worried .well I need not have done ,the procedure lasted bout 5 mins and was completely painless.they did use some gel and I could feel the tube but no pain and very little discomfort. My consultant told me everything was fine and after a cup of tea I came home.i have had very slight stinging when passing urine first time but even that is ok now.
