Went to Chiropractor and found my spine is still curved (from childhood ) like a c. L5 is pressed to where it's almost touching bone and my hips... One is higher and the other is pushed back. Ok... Now to my question .... Feeling pain in my kidneys and was told by Chiro it was normal due to my back/spine issues. A few days went on and decided to go to my GP. They found +2 proteins in my urine. So now I'm going to have a Mri of my L5, ct with the dye on my abdomen and pelvic and a chest X-ray.... Had blood done this morning and doing a 24 hour urine!

On a doctor's visit back in December, it was discovered that i had microscopic blood in my urine. This went on for a few months, and increased with every doctor's check up. A urologist did an ultrasound of the kidney/bladder back in February, and all was normal. He also did cystoscopy which was normal too. He also did a test which shows my bladder holds sufficient amount of urine. The problem is, we never really figured out what the cause was, and recently i have had a new symptom (mucus tissue looking things in my urine). I am considering going back to a different urologist, but has anyone experienced something similar, or know what tissue looking bits in urine is?

Test show that I have a enlarged kidney, I have protien in my urine, severe back pain to the right side, strong smelly urine, blood pressure very high now on 10mg blood pressure tablets, Doctors have done tests on my kidneys and say the test shows the kidneys are functioning normally so I have not to go back to hospital for six months.

I'm a 26 yr old male, I've been peeing cloudy for months now, not every time I pee, usually just once a day, and the rest seem normal. Lately it seems like it's more cloudy than before. Also at night i have to get up alot to pee, but its usually just a few drops each time. Just recently two things happened, on two different occasions. First, I was peeing and it seemed to be normal color, but at the last end it turned white/cloudy and right at the last drop or two it looked like white flaky particles in it. Since then I've been noticing the particles more often. Second thing, almost two weeks after noticing the particles I was peeing one night and it seemed to burn quite bad at the last few drops, and when I was done it didn't feel like a finished, felt like I still had more. I went to outpatients the other night, did a urine sample and the test come back negative for UTI, so they sent it to a lab, next morning they did blood work and another urine sample. Waiting for the results now. Dr thinks it could be a prostate infection (prostatitis) caused from chlamydia so he put me on Ciprofloxacin. I dont think its from chlamydia because the two girls I've had unprotected sex with both been tested recently and come back clean. He also said its possible it could be stones.

Im 29 year old female, i've always thought my painful bladder and urination was from chronic bladder infections for years until my doctor recently sent me to a specialist and sent off for urine culture and came back negative. .have all the symptoms of a bladder infection. Have large amount of blood (4+) ..Urologist sent my for a ct ivp to look for stones or look for something abnormal with ureters or kidney, nothing ..everything came back normal..now the urologist ordered a test to look at the bladder with scope through my urethra and also take a biopsy of bladder wall to look for cancer cells..owww. Any answers on what this can be I have all the symptoms of bladder cancer but im young and no family history of bladder cancer im a non smoker /alcohol drinker.

So I am a 34yo male and I was having palpitations and asked the dr to do a work up so he did an echo and a sonogram of my aorta to check for aneurysm. The echo came back good no issues and there was no aneurysm or evidence of one my measurements were all good. However the report said that plaque was found in all the areas of my aorta ascending descending and mid and in my right and left iliac arteries. The doctor said this was unusual and abnormal for my age. I haven't got to actually talk to him it wrote it on the report that I got. I don't have a follow up for about 1 month and I'm curious what the outlook is on this. I smoked for a couple years when I was 18 and completely quit. I have always been somewhat active(not sedentary) the last 3-4 years I have been lifting weights and running I weigh 220 and I'm 6-3 somewhat built. I look and feel healthy? I'm kinda thinking that I can't live a long life anymore?

Yesterday was quite the day. I've always had a fear of STDs, I'm not sure why, I'm just a germo. I've gotten better as I've gotten older, but I've tried to be careful to protect myself. Yesterday, my girlfriend received test results from her gyno appointment. She apparently requested a full battery of tests, to try and fully ease my mind as we discussed my worries in the past and she was confident she didn't have anything. Well, it turns out she test positive for HSV2. Bummer. We've been dating for 5 months, probably have sex about 3 times a week on average. We have used condoms every time except twice. She was quite shocked, as was I. I didn't, and don't know what to say. Statistically speaking, I know the odds I contracted it are very small. Most of the data I've read indicate somewhere around 2% per year from female to male with regular condom use. I believe her when she says she didn't know she had it, else why come clean now.
I guess the point of this thread...I'm searching for advice. Has anyone dealt with this situation? I'm sure they have. Finding out down the road that their partners has herpes. What did you do? What mental steps did you take to move forward? What options do I have?
As far as I can figure if I want to try and stay with her, perhaps just suggesting we don't have sex while I sort through this is a good approach. I care a lot for her, but I'm also realistic. Taking the risk of contracting it (assuming I haven't already) is a big risk even if statistically small as women I'd date in the future I'd obviously have to tell assuming I tested positive. I've always had trouble connecting with others, so limiting the future dating pool sounds like a bad choice. ANY thoughts are appreciated. My brain can't seem to spit them out.

Okay so I'm 18 years old female, a few weeks ago I found a blister where my pubic hair grows, this morning I went to the doctor - he told me he was unsure whether it was a genital wart as there is just one singular wart for the past few weeks. I really don't know how I could've caught this and I have had one sexual partner who I have had sex twice with using condoms carefully each time. We were both each other's first sexual partner. I have been suffering from neck, shoulder and arm pain for over 3 weeks. My own Dr just gave me pain killers and Diazepam. However nothing helped and sleep was impossible. In desperation I went to a private Dr and had a private MRI scan which confirmed the disc prob. He also gave me stronger pain killers which seem to have an adverse effect on me. Feeling sick and faint. Now he has referred me to a private "skeletal" consultant - my own NHS Dr said I needed a Rheumatologist which of course takes weeks. If anyone else has taken this path I would be most grateful to receive suggestions and, if these things can be cured.

I had a Mri scan for back pain, result found 2 small nodules in lung. Seeing specialist in July, I get a little short of breath and a little wheezy at times nothing to alarm myself, but I have terrible fatigue also have red lumps on forehead chin and buttocks. Worried this could be sarcoidosis my father had this sadly died 26 years, I have read different views on this being hereditary, so worried seems ages till July I am female age 55 & a smoker, any thoughts ?

I am really worried as today i found a small lump near the top side of anal opening....its little red colored. I have a piles problem already but I already got treatment and its 6 months ago and i am also drinking water as much as i can.but few days ago i got constipation problems and little blood and pain during toilet.

I'm in my mid teens, and earlier on this evening, i noticed that my right breast slightly ached, so i checked it out myself and found a lump, which is not visible on the surface of the skin. The lump is located on the left hand side of the right breast, directly next to and underneath the nipple. The nipple on my left breast is flat, which i got checked out earlier in the year by my doctor. The lump inside my breast feels unmovable, possibly quite large, and aches even when its not touched.
I am also two weeks late for my period, which hasn't occurred before.
I need to get this checker out, however, beforehand, i would like some advice on whether or not it could be premature breast cancer, and whether or not it can be treated. I have also read up on the possible link between breast cancer and infertility.

Are these two tests the same thing? Also, we are having trouble reading my mother's blood tests - and yes we have an upcoming appt but the office is very busy. She has a Protein/Creatinine ratio of 4.75. Her U creatinine is 60 and her protein is something like 13.
There isn't a normal range for the Protein/Creatinine ratio, though I know in the past it's been something like 0.83. Her blood creatinine was steady for her ... 1.9 and her GFR steady for her at 28. So...I don't get how the protein can be so much higher than it was before.
Every time I look up protein/creatinine ratio - I keep getting "albumin" results. Is this the same test?

I was getting a few pains in my belly yesterday which got really bad. I ended up getting a nurse around and she took tests and found out I have a trace of blood and protein in my urine. I'm worried because she mentioned something about my kidneys, I'm on antibiotics worried if the infection goes to the kidneys.

I am a 32 year old female. With Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and otherwise very healthy, except for a recent issue this summer with C.Diff/Clostridium Difficile after being given Augmentin antibiotic for bronchitis back in May. It killed all my good bacteria.. and have been on Flagyl and Vancomycin to treat the c diff damage Augmentin did. Back on Vanco a 2nd round.
Anyways, a month and a half later after the cdiff started, I developed this weird "burning" sensation around and inside my urethra. I had no idea what it was. Never had a UTI before that I know of. Then, I noticed these little "specks"/particles that looked like teeny little skin flakes in my pee and sometimes its cloudy with it... and weird little "bubbles". there were 4 occasions.. where something that resembled a shred of lettuce, very small, but looked, like.. lettuce, even the little veiny lettuce leaf things... came out during urination. oddly, i had lettuce the day before 2 of those events. I am pretty sure it came out with my urine, as the toilets were perfectly clear beforehand... and it happened at my work toilet and at home. and i did not do a #2 during any of these incidents. these were all in afternoons/evenings. and i normally only have BM's first thing in the morning. even with cdiff. i never saw such a thing in my pee before. then again, i never exactly looked all the time at my pee. until the burning thing started... then yeah, i was paying attention.
So, I do not have insurance, and was under the care of a Gastroenterologist at the main city hospital for the cdiff and he was letting me see him for free for 3 appointments as a courtesy thing. So, I told him how I thought I had a UTI, and if I have a UTI, I am in BIG trouble because that means I would need an antibiotic.. and I cant be on any other antibiotics as it would cause me to have a major c.diff setback or even kill me.
So, he ordered me to get a Urinalysis by Microscopy and Urine Culture test at the lab downstairs to their office. The urinalysis came back all normal/negative.. except trace ketones and trace mucus. everything else was fine. Urine culture came back and no Leukocytes, etc. BUT... it had 3 bacterias.. but within "normal limits". it just said "#1.. gram negative rods 2,000 count #2. gram neg rods 3,000 #3 Lactobacillus species 50,000. colonies per ML. Lab paper just says most likely sample collection contamination due to the mixed bacterias found. repeat if they wanted to. and that was it. doc said they don't treat unless its over 100,000 colonies. and they considered it a non-UTI. is this correct?
So... question is... is this actually even an "infection"??? The burning went away for several days, actually.
BUT I am currently taking probiotics.. for the cdiff treatment. LOTS and lots of Lifeway Kefir...which contains.. lactobacillus.........
so, could this be that its somehow getting into my urine? or... vaginal contamination how i did the sample collection? just funyn how it happens to be.. just that bacteria.
I know docs thought perhaps I may have IC back in 2007, but was never tested for anything. That was after I was having chronic urination... im talking 20-30 times a night. AFter they ruled out other problems and diabetes.
Also, can baking soda help fix this "problem"?

I have been having this problem for a few months now. Every time I take off my underwear to go to use the bathroom, before sex, go to bed, etc. My underwear has a strong smell of urine and its so embarrassing. I've been to my doctor and she took a blood sample and a urine sample and everything came back normal. Now she wants me to get an ultrasound to make sure all my organs are ok. I feel completely fine except for the smell. I don't know what to do. I feel like it's taking so long for my doctor to figure out what is wrong. So plz if anyone has any suggestions to help me with the urine smell let me know. It's so embarrassing. I'm constantly wondering if other ppl can smell it even when I have my pants on.

Had two tests done, one was a full body check which detected high cholesterol in the blood and rbc count of 22 in urine where 13 was the borderline and nothing else. For the follow up urine test a month later there was protein detected but rbc was down to 13. Now what's getting me worried is that the doc said there might be a kidney or other organ problem and that i'd need to see a specialist. Unfortunately I won't get to see this specialist for another month and im getting worried with what the problem might be and if waiting another month might make it worse. As far as symptoms go, I feel fine, or at least i'm not in any pain, previously or now.

I just got back from my Drs appointment. I'm 19 weeks 2 days and they told me I have protein in my urine and it's been sent off to see how the level is. Has anyone had this or going through this? If so could you give me advice on it? All I was told is that it can be a problem.
