View 1 RepliesOver this past summer I've smoked marijuana And I got that good high And everything was fine. These past few weeks I've been smoking And I can't remember anything like I could be having a conversation with someone And I won't remember what we were just talking about a second ago, I get all shakey And I get nauseas to Where I can't stand up can someone please explain what is happening.
View 1 RepliesI can not remember what I did in 1996. I have researched my personal papers but nothing can clearly tell me anything concrete.
View 1 RepliesSo i've had these spots on my penis for as long as i remember and they really destroy my self confidence, i'm 20 years old and never had a sexual partner mainly because of this, did fool around with one person but they only touched it with their hand, any insight would be great..
Its mainly the ones around the base of my penis that bothers me/ When i spread the skin out they're like mini spots all together.
I have really bad memory I cant remember almost anything I learned in university after 4 years. Is this normal? I am at a loss.. I cant really get a job in my field of social work because I have forgotten everything and would bomb any interview. This seems strange to me... I have gotten acceptances to complete a masters degree but I am wondering what the point of going back to school is if I will just forget everything. Any advice?
View 2 RepliesI am forgetting everything that happens to me daily. Even whatever happens in morning if somebody asks in afternoon i ll forget that. Why is that i am forgetting all matters? I used to get depressed often by thinking past and used to cry a lot. Whether it may the reason or i am having any prob in my head. I don't have stress in work too.
View 1 RepliesI am 18. The past 3 months I've been losing everything and I feel like I'm getting worse. Generally I forget things but lately I misplace my belongings more frequently ( wallet, keys, phone). It also happens at work, in less than 2 weeks i forgot to punch out 3 times. Last weekend I misplaced my wallet 3 times, and today I left my keys in my friend's car. I feel like I have no control at lot, i try so many things and nothing works. I read an article saying that it can be caused by stress(I'm a college student, and part time work) but the fact that I have always been the unattentive one between my Friends makes me wonder if I have ADD.
Side note: My brother has ADHD and I would like to know if my mom having major depression when she was pregnant with us( not twins but one pregnancy right after the other) can influence this.
for the past several months my wife tells me that i continually stop breathing through the night, after a while of not believing her i have noticed i sometimes realize i stop breathing during the day and then take a gasp of air. i don't know whether i have done this my whole life and not realised i am now only 35. last week i have had some really irregular and pounding heart beats and for the past several days have felt light headed.i am looking for some answers in layman's terms or if any one else has had the same sort of thing happen as maybe it may all be in my head.
View 3 RepliesI have always had an issue with forgetting and losing things but it has been getting consistently worse over the past few months and I'm not quite sure who i would speak to. I am only 25 but tend to work very long hours in a stressful job, I'm sure this contributes to my memory loss but i think there might be an underlying reason.
What seems to happen is when I put an item down i forget it is there and when i leave don't even notice i don't have it.
For example I might be on a train, put my coat on the seat next to me, get to my stop and walk off the train without even noticing I don't have it. I leave laptops and iPads on tables and walk off and its becoming an more regular accurance.

I'm a 17 year old girl. Im 5/7 and 120 lbs. I don't normally smoke weed I've maybe done it around 4 to 5 times in my life and 2 of those times I had bad relationships but it's been 6 days since I smoked last and I don't feel normal! I feel numb and disconnected I also forget a lot. But yet at times i have moments of clarity. I talked to the people who partake in smoking with me and they feel fine however they also have a high tolerance for it.
View 2 RepliesThis is the third time this has happened and I don't understand it.
I wake up in the morning and can't remember what time of day it is, have I woken from a nap? is it morning or night?
This morning I woke up feeling it was evening and it was 6.45 in the morning. I am really worried about this wondering if I could have dementia etc. I am hypothyroid and have Graves and Hashimoto's, would it be anything to do with thyroid?
I am an intelligent person who likes to keep busy. The only thing I can credit it to was perhaps an upsetting argument with my husband last night, but as I say it's happened a few times now.
I'm curious if anyone else experiences this. Just as I cross the line from being awake to falling asleep, it seems like my body just forgets to breathe. I jolt myself awake and just get right back to sleeping. I don't notice it every night but sometimes it happens a few times before I'm fully asleep.
I'm otherwise a healthy 32 year old male. I go to the gym multiple times a week and don't have any other major health issues other than occasional teeth-grinding at night. I don't snore heavily and I typically wake up rested when I do get to sleep early enough.
I've been on birth control pill (Yasminelle to be exact) for more than a year. A few days ago I started a new pack. I took the first pill like normal. The same day I had sex with someone, without a condom but he didn't ejaculate. The next day I forgot to take my pill for a little longer than 12 hours and I took it as soon as I remembered and had access to it. The following day I took the pill at the normal time.
Reading the instructions for the pill, about forgetting to take it for longer than 12 hours during the first week of the new pack, it said that if there was sexual intercourse a few days before forgetting to take the pill, there's still a chance of pregnancy. I suppose that is, if there is ejaculation, which in my case, didn't happen. I know I probably shouldn't worry but I still wanted a second opinion.
The reason I'm here is because every time I'm having a conversation with anybody (and even while i'm on my own) my mind keep thinking about a lot of other things, making me lose focus on what's going on in the moment and making me forget important stuff due to the fact that while I was being told these important details, my mind was just jumping to other less relevant issues. This situation has been a big problem in my life recently and I'm wondering if this is a common situation and how to treat/solve it?
View 1 RepliesI am a 57 yr old male not currently on any medication. I have recently been having very short term memory loss.By recently I mean the last several weeks. For example I needed to move my sons car. I walk into the house to get the keys. By the time I walk into the house I have forgotten why I went in. I have to pause for a few moments to think why I came into the house. That is just one example. This happens to me many times a day. At work I need another tool from my truck or tool bag. I move across the room to my tool bag or walk to my truck and I have to think what I needed. I mean, I have forgotten what I needed within seconds of moving to get the object. This is becoming very annoying. Can diet have anything to do with this. I don't often get to eat breakfast and just something quick for lunch. Though I do have a full dinner. Although this happens whether I have eaten or not. I am planning on calling my doctor this week to see if he can point me in a direction for help but I was just very curious to see what people had to say about this and whether they have had any of these problems also.
View 2 RepliesI smoke weed once a month or so. I only started recently and yesterday I had some and I got some weird effects. My vision was like everything was sliding around and I was forgetting pretty much everything every 15 seconds or so. Just details though - I could still remember vaguely what was happening. I always have troubles with my memory when I get high but this is the first time it has been that bad and the first time my vision has gone strange. Is this normal or what? I still enjoyed it and it was just like being high normally, but I figured it would be good to see if anyone thinks the side-effects I was getting are a concern.
View 1 Replieshave just had a telephone consult with my gp he tells me my cholesterol is 5.63 good and bad chol 3.69 can anyone tell me what this means? is it high - he wants me to go on statins and i am already on warfarin.
View 3 Repliesit's not as bad you people think. I must admit I was fearing it a lot and this might be one of the reasons why I overreacted to the discomfort felt by the pumping of air to distend the bowels. There are no nerves in the bowels so you cannot feel any pain. Proof of this was when they did a random biopsy on me and ripped out samples of tissue from my bowels (as I watched on the screen). There was no pain at all apart from the odd sensation which felt like someone flicking a rubber band inside my gut.
It's always fear of the unknown which scares of most. After the procedure the only pain I really experienced was wind as they had probably pumped the world's gas supply into me (ok so I might have exaggerated a bit) but seriously, it's not all that bad and you'll feel ok right after one big release.
Is walking good for pregnancy
View 6 RepliesI had my vasectomy done and I wanted to add my experience to a balanced discussion as usually only people who have problems complain. The doctor told me the risks and I went for the snip after consideration. Met a fellow patient whose grandfather and father had it done too and recommended it. We were nervous of course....who won't be? Now the love life is great no hormones or reduced sensation, no worries, no more expensive little ones, no nappy changes! All the wives waiting at the vasectomy clinic thoroughly supports it and I realised lots of colleagues had it done without problems...be warned they will take the mic out of you before you go for it. Thoroughly recommend it. No problems. Do consider the risks but life is risky. I took it and won.
View 7 RepliesCan anyone let me know what their experience(s) were of increasing from 100 to 150 - good or bad! I feel like I have reached a bit of a lull and am not feeling like it's as effective as it first was. Also my head feels a bit funny, almost like a brain zap but not quite - does anyone relate to that? So I was thinking of increasing (well going to speak to Dr about it first!)
I used to be on citalopram and was on the highest dose of that.
