Many articles around the web come out with claims that herbs can cure infertility. As a person who has dealt with infertility myself and then finally conceived using IVF, I feel strongly about not scamming women who are desperate for a baby into buying herbs that are no good for them at all. Can I get your opinion on herbs for women's fertility?
View 1 RepliesI have never had my fertility tested by a doctor, so what I am telling you comes strictly from the fact that I have not got pregnant in a year, after having tried vigorously. From my ovulation tests I know that I do ovulate. I also know the problem is not with my husband, as he already has two kids from a previous marriage. Do you think herbs for fertility for women would help me?

View 1 RepliesMost people must use dried herbs instead of fresh herbs sometimes, right? There have been no fresh herbs in my supermarket for quite a while now and I ended up being dried ones instead. I hate the way they make the food taste. It's still better than NO herbs of course, but the food has not been to my liking at all. What experience do you have with this?

I am not going to take herbs with my S/O treatment. I started treatment three days ago. Take both pills at the same time right after dinner - no side effects whatsoever or any unusual filling so far.
Let me know what is the reason to stay away completely from sun? Also if this is OK to take general vitamins and supplements during the S/O treatment?
This is my first time to post here, so please bare with me. I am 73, have severe back pain due to degenerative disc disease. I also have spondylolisthesis, and sciatica pain. I have seen a chiropractor for many years and have gotten steroid shots every 4 months for the past 2 years for the pain. None of this helps anymore. I have tried lots of herbal and alternative pain medications, none have helped. I got bronchitis last week and had to go to the Dr. She prescribed and antibiotic and Prednisone 10 Mg. for 6 days with a tapering off on the 6th day. I have not felt this good in a very long time. Very little pain. I felt like wonder woman. So I began searching for a natural steroid. I found that Dong Quai is noted for this. So I began it yesterday and am taking 4 pills per day at 250 mg./pill. I am also taking Curcumin2K and Dr. Al Sears Krill, 1 per day. How long do you think it will take before I know that this is working? I just cannot go back to the intense pain that I was in before the Prednisone.
View 1 RepliesI have been dealing with infertility for going on 8 years. I am young but it is still very hard. I found out yesterday that my 21 year old sister is pregnant by a man who lives with his girlfriend. She wasn't trying yet she got pregnant. It hurts SO BAD! I want to be there for her but I can't even look at her right now it is so hard.
I haven't had a period since October. When I was living in Michigan my Gynecologist put me on Clomid. I was on it for a year but it never worked. I don't ovulate properly and obviously don't have my periods on a monthly basis. I was just wondering if anyone has or is going through this and what you did to get through this/solve this?
Any suggestion would be great. I feel horrible right now and I need some uplifting news.

I accumulated crazy belly fat around my upper ribs. I assume it's high cortisol because I was under a lot of stress and didn't eat a lot and lost weight. But I gained weight around my belly while losing the weight. I tried losing the belly fat, but it wouldn't budge. All I did was lose weight everywhere else. If I lose any more weight everywhere else I will be too thin. So... I tried rotated through different herbs to lower cortisol, like Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Holy Basil. It made me have more anxiety. Then I tried Seriphos and it made me wayyyy too tired. I also took these herbs because I suffer from anxiety. I am in a vicious circle. Belly fat is stressing me out and keeping me anxious, so I take the herbs which are to help both, but I'm sensitive to them. I need to reduce the stress to lower the cortisol but the belly fat won't let me calm down. Any suggestions? Other vitamins?

View 1 RepliesI'm nearly 16 years old and I found out some pretty horrible news about 3 months ago and it's been playing on my mind.
When my mum was younger she went to her doctors for her first depo contraceptive injection, her doctor didn't give her a pregnancy test but little did they know she was pregnant on me (my mum clearly didn't know either).
2 injections down the line and my mum was having problems and her stomach was swelling the doctors said that it was a stomach ulcer (it was me aha) after a while my mum insisted on having a pregnancy test and found out she was having me.
They said it could lead me Into having fertility problems.
They have said in the future if I try before I'm 25 and I am infertile that I will get ivf and any other treatment for free but..
I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else and if they have had problems with getting pregnant or of there is any advice in knowing if I am infertile like symptoms and stuff like that
I know I'm young and won't be having children yet it just worries me.

View 1 RepliesI had IPL laser hair removal at a local salon. The technician gave me 5 sessions (each which included a free retouch session meaning a total of 10) with an interval of two weeks. Obviously i hadn't done my research well and it didn't work. I am going to the leading laser hair removal in my country now..my concern is ...is that too much laser exposure to my area and my ovaries? Would this cause infertility or anything of that matter? It's not about the laser itself but to the amount of exposure that i am being exposed to.

When ultrasounds were done to evaluate pregnancies the gestational sac's were empty. My doctor decided to prescribe me Clomid and I was wondering if anyone had success with Clomid after miscarriages.

My doctor doesn't seem very concerned only advising low carbs, exercise and losing a few lbs.
As I have been studying the subject lately I have read that the condition may be caused by pancreas isn’t producing enough insulin, or I might be insulin resistant. Are there tests that could be done to actually identify the cause, and that may help to help better my problem.
