View 1 RepliesI am a female aged 20, don't have sex regularly but the last two times after sex I have had brown discharge and then bleeding, the first time I was due my period a day or two later so thought nothing of it, this time my period is not due for another 5/6 days, day 1 and 2 after sex brown discharge day 3 nothing and then day 4 more discharge but when i wipe there is also blood, put a tampon in there is also quite a bit of blood on this when taken out .. should i be worried ?

I am 16 and still a virgin so there's no way I'm pregnant. My last period started at the 22nd January (maybe just after) and has since finished. Everything was fine until two days ago I noticed a little brown discharge, I didn't think much of it until it carried on yesterday and today. There's not lots of it, just like regular discharge with bits of brown (and I think i saw some red blood there too..) It's getting quite scary after reading all the things that can cause it. I am on iron tablets (have been on them for 2 months) but I don't think that can cause anything can it?
I have an appointment with my nurse on Fri for a blood test to check my iron so I will bring it up then. Nothin like this has happened to me before and my periods have been pretty regular since I was 11.
My gf period was from the 16th to the 20th. Two days after she wanted to have unprotected sex, she put it in, but literally 5 seconds after I made her get up. I didn't ***. And I know precum can have sperm if I ejaculated earlier and didn't go pee before sex. But I know for sure I went to the bathroom after my last ejaculation because it was probably a couple days ago. Anyway. She ovulated on the 29th; The 14th day of her cycle. I think this was the day because she had light cramps and was craving sex. On the 2nd of June she has bleeding. A brown discharge. It was enough that she would have used a tampon for, not spotting. At first I was scared of implantation bleeding but it says on average is happens 9 days after ovulation with a range of 6 to 12. It had only been 4 days. I know she has been stressing, and she tried weed for the first time recently. But could that really cause this discharge. After considering all these factors, even if my precum did have sperm it's a very small chance that the sperm got to the egg with having to last 7 whole days to ovulation. I know ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, but Its just not adding up to be implantation bleeding. What else could this be?

Then later on I thought I started my period the next day it was heavy then in the afternoon it just stop no more blood ! What's happening ? Should I take a test or go to the doc. Every time I do a test I get a negative and I haven't had a real period in a month !
View 1 RepliesOn December 14 I fell pretty hard, the next morning I had vaginal bleeding, most brown discharge but some red also, this lasted about 2 days. No pain, dizziness, headache, nothing. I had my regular cycle on December 22, which was completely normal. On December 30 I got a tattoo, and again I had brown discharge for about 24 hours. On January 2 I bumped my elbow, and again brown discharge for about 24 hours. Yesterday ( January 3) I cut my finger pretty bad, and started to bleed almost immediately after, not brown discharge, but bight red blood. I know that I should go to the dr, but I don't have a regular Dr, and the er just pushes you through without any real answers then refers you to a Dr, which will require insurance, which I don't have.

View 1 RepliesI am 36 and almost 6 weeks pregnant. I tested positive on Friday for pregnancy but on Saturday I found some brown blood when I wiped after using the restroom. It stopped but started again on Monday and continued on. Nothing present on my panty liner except a small brown dot or two. I went to ER and they did an ultrasound, both on my stomach and transvaginal. Dr told me it was too early to tell. As I was leaving the hospital I felt a gush of fluid release down there and thought it may have been the gel from the t/v u/s. I got he and found that my panty liner was soaked with bright red blood. I quickly changed that pad and called the same ER doctor that I saw and he said that it was more than likely a miscarriage. Other than that one gush, things have gone back to the brown spotting (though I did noticed some tiny brown particles floating in the toilet after urination - sorry tmi). From all the things that I have read about miscarriages, I doesn't seem like I had one or having one, however my u/s did not show that a fetal pole was present. Has anyone ever experienced this? Can you bleed like that after a transvaginal u/s? I am going to see my OB tomorrow and have the hcg test redone, but right now i am freaking out. Currently my count is at ~7300. Also, I do have a couple of small fibroids so can that affect anything?
View 1 RepliesSo I'm pretty on top when my period is suppose to come, & they're regular & pretty heavy. This month what I thought was my period (which was a week early) came & then the next day nothing. Usually my second day is the heaviest and a maybe a day or two after that I was getting this brown discharge and have been having it for a few days with a little blood. I took a pregnancy test and its negative. My period originally was suppose to come tomorrow but idk what could be wrong with me! Maybe I'm over thinking it?
View 1 RepliesMy period has been very wacky lately. I've had spotting on the 28th-31st of Dec, then again on the 13th-18th of this month, and then yesterday I had light spotting that was brown. Later last night it turned into a pink spot, then back to brown. Today I've been having light brown sticky/stretchy discharge. It is only while wiping and I don't need a panty liner or tampon.
I'm not sure which out of these three random times is my real period. Also, my fiance and I have had unprotected intercourse on both the 9th and 23rd.
Is this possibly effects caused by my bc? Or is it possibly implantation?

On the first day I had light bleeding not to much and it continued until May21 and it got heavier so I asummed it was my period and it Continued for a few days and it got lighter so I figured it was stopping. But it didn't so now i'm still bleeding til this day and. So I started my birth control on the 21st of June. And I started bleeding heavier again so I assumed its my period again. And during the bleeding I've had some clots and some cramps. Really frustrated right now can anyone help?
View 1 RepliesI got the Mirena IUD inserted 16 days ago during the last couple days of my placebo pills from Ortho Tri Cyclen. I have been spotting ever since and it's taken a major toll on my sex life and it's driving me crazy. I talked to my doctor about it a few days ago and she said that this is normal but that i can try taking the pill again in a month or so if it doesn't go away. Then three days ago I just got so fed up with spotting that I started a pack of my birth control just to see if that helps anything. Now the spotting is less but I'm wondering if anyone has any positive experience with NOT bleeding for 2 months straight? Everything I read online is just a Mirena horror story but I need some positive experience stories or advice. I understand this is "normal" but it still sucks.

I bled for about 4 weeks and then everything stopped and went back to normal. last sunday, so a week and a day ago, I was standing in my kitchen when I started bleeding again- and not a little, it was a ton, it gushed out and was all over me, my feet and the floor. It came out so fast I didn't have time to react really. I didn't have any cramps or pain at all before, during or after. It stopped after a few minutes and I barely even "spotted" the days following. However,now I have a yellowish/orangish discharge. There is still no pain, or cramping, nor is there itching, burning, or odor. It's not a thick discharge at all either. I have an appointment with my DR. but it's not for 10 days from now. Can anyone give me some insight? Should I try to see another Dr. sooner? I'm concerned about both issues, I normally have very painful periods, and that random gush of blood was not painful... I'd like to think it was my period finally starting again but it seems weird.

I had a horrible time with the depo shot with continuous spotting through the 3 months. It was finally the end of march when my shot was supposed to be up and I did not want another dose. Well it is now the end of july and i have been bleeding every day since. Its not a lot but it really is annoying and i am starting to get worried. I am also terrified of doctors so that is my last resort. Did any one else have this problem? Will it eventually stop?

I recently decided in the middle of my third pack that I would stop taking them and get off of the pill. I am still bleeding two days after but it is heavier than the usual bleed I had on the pill. Is this my period starting? If not how long will the bleeding last until it stops?

So for the last year or so i've been on the depo provera birth control. I have not gotten my last injection due on the 16th of march. And was very lightly bleeding for about a week during that time for the next shot then it stopped for a few days and then started bleeding heavy for the next five days. Finally stopped on april 3. Keep in mind My periods have never been normal. I had unprotected sex on the 8th and 12th and now am lightly spotting. Can i be pregnant?

It gave me a weird feeling like tingling then most of his sperm just came out my vagina. but the next morning when I woke up I was bleeding, then stopped. And started bleeding again today.
