I had laser on my face 2 days ago and the redness is going away but I have these bags that are like welts under my eyes. What can help? Cold compresses?

I had laser surgery on my eyes eighteen months ago and at the same time stopped taking the contraceptive pill.
Since then every month I seem to get at least one stye.
Is this connected to hormones or the laser surgery?

Eyes :: Laser Iridotomy To Prevent Closed Angle Glaucoma
Has anyone had an iridotomy (laser - in iris) It has been recommended to me as the dr says I have narrowing and leakage. no glaucoma. I was told it would help prevent closed angle glaucoma. I am not sure whether to go ahead and I am seeking another opinion.

On Sunday July 14 I noticed a red ring on my arm near my armpit, I went in the next day and my doctor confirmed it was ringworm. It was never scaly, dry, or itchy. I never touched the area other then when I was showering/drying off, and applying the ointment. On the 18th the ring was completely gone. However once I noticed the ring on Sunday I did become really itchy, just not in the location the ring was in. Everywhere else however (legs,thighs,arms,back..everywhere else) was itchy. After itching those areas turned into mosquito bite looking bumps and then hives/welts. Is this ringworm or something else?
I thought ringworm lasted for 2-4 weeks..but my ring was gone in 4 days, and that spot never itched. I've never had hives either and I'm not allergic to anything, also nothing in my life has changed. I haven't changed my diet or lifestyle in any way. Other than kicking the nasty habit of biting my nails.
Please give your opinions on what this could possibly be.

Within the last 2/3 weeks, I have noticed welts (very large and warm) on certain parts of my body, mainly around my ankles, hips, backs of my knees, and one spot on my spine. At first, I thought it was an allergy to my laundry detergent, so I started making my own because I am allergic to everything else. After switching soaps, I noticed that the hives/welts subsided but then after a couple days, I got 2 on my spine again. One welt was about the size of a silver dollar and the other, about four inches lower on my spine, about the size of a quarter. Later that night, the left side of my lower lip randomly got very warm and started to swell. It looked as though I had been stung by a bee. There was no pain other than the uncomfortable tightness.
Any ideas on what could be the cause? I can't get into my doctor for quite some time, and I prefer to avoid the emergency room since it doesn't seem that serious but I'd really like an idea of what in the world is going on.
Update 12/16/13-This morning I woke up with one nickel sized welt on each arm, just below my elbows.
Eyes :: Geometric Shape Patterns Appearing In Both Eyes
Small but geometric -ish shape. This changes in 1/2 hour or more, the shape gets larger forming a getting larger approximate 'C' shape to the left of center. It is almost like me seeing a crude kaleidoscope . Eventually the thing disappears to the left. The shape seems to be of small triangles squares, anything 'sort of' geometric. I can see past it but still have to see the shape. Whichever eye I close I can still see it; close both I can see it! It has now cleared completely as I have not being looking at the sun or any strong light. Is it 'just one of those things' to be tolerated every now and then. I am 75 and in general good health

I'm late 5s,have had floaters since my 20s,back then they were small black or clear dots,fast forward,late fifties,now i've had pvds in both eyes,vitreous gel shrinks and pulls away from the back of the eye,now i have these clear to gauzy larger floaters,plus one large clumpy black one and I can't ignore them anymore. PVD is age related. I am just lucky enough to have these awful larger ones that can blur and obstruct vision. How does a person deal with it. Oh yes I also am starting to have dry eyes. Both also can cause hazy vision. Unless you've experienced it,no one else can relate

The squint(left eye) had been developed at an age of 3 or 4 years I think... A cataract was also developed in it.. It had been ignored by me as I was not able to focus on it while seeing things... Cataract was recently removed(At an age of 18) by a laser treatment... But after the treatment also I had not get my vision back for my left eye (lazy eye).. I'm not able to see with that I now... Can I improve my left eye's vision...? If I can't.. Then how can I correct my eyes appearance... My left eye is little outwards from it's actual direction.

I have this squint since childhood. My eyes move outward. It happens a lot when I'm tired or try to look quickly at something, It was diagnosed early and I was asked to do a regular exercise with pencil. I had to Keep pencil in front of my nose and look at it and then slowly move the pencil forward and repeat it several times. The later I was given glasses and it improved it a little but then again it got as it was earlier. My vision is 6 by 6. But its just I don't have proper control over the muscles. They seem to be aligned but when I'm tired or move eyes they go outward. I wanted to know how it can be permanently corrected. It just disturbs me and I always feel a stress on my eyes. I have this irritation over eyes too and itching which makes it even worse. How it can be treated or it can be operated? I guess it would be easier with operation and I would go for it but I was asked to do exercise and told that it will stay but will get better, It was 30 degrees.

Puberty :: Over 30 And No Facial Or Pubic Hair
I am a male over 30 years, married and have a 2 year old kid. However i do not seem to grow any facial hair and have very minimal/no pubic hair over my body. I have little on my private parts and under arm... but absolutely no public hair on my face or legs. I wanted to know if there are any tests to determine my problems and to fix them. Just for a record, my dad and other close family that i know of have very good pubic hair.

Ive always had dry skin on my face, within a minute of washing it I need to moisturize. I have used the same moisturizer (nivea) for years and haven't changed skincare products at all lately. Two days ago I noticed my face went hot and the next morning when washing my face I noticed it felt rough and bumpy. What could have triggered this? Something I ate?? An allergy to something? Its not itchy just a bit hot and has a bumpy appearance if I look up close.
Im taking Vit B Executive Stress (Healtheries) tablets, Magnesium tablets, Noriday birth control tablets.
Only foods Ive eaten out of ordinary and feel could have triggered it is pizza, peppermint tea or blueberries! Am hoping it will go away on its own, not sure what to use as a moisturiser.. bio oil, same nivea soft moisturiser, paw paw ointment?
Rhinitis :: Facial Sauna And Heated Wheat Bag Helps
i suffer from persistent rhinitis, i find that a heated wheat bag definitely eases the horrid soreness that i get at the top of my nose and headaches, also find that eating cold yogurt temporarily soothes this sinus pain, also going to the steam room really helps so heat is definitely temporarily relieving. my nose also constantly drips which is very annoying, but i find doing facial sauna helps with this or placing a heated wheat bag over my nostrils and inhaling the heat through my nose. regular dusting of the house helps, and if you can change your carpet for wooded floor boards this will help, because sometimes no matter how much you may hoover, dust and mites will still remain. also the doctor prescribed me fexofenadine tablets these are 120mg tablets which i have found the most effective out of any other tablets or sprays that i've tried over the last 8 years.

I had surgery to remove a kidney stone last month, I was given cyclIzine to take home along with pain meds. After a day of taking the cyclizine tablets all of a sudden I felt really on edge and strange and had gone from being quite sedated from pain meds to breathing unusually. I had involuntary movements in my face and neck. It progressed into difficulties talking, my gp told me to stop taking cyclizine immediately. 2 days later the symptoms were worse so my gp gave me procyclidine to stop the symptoms. The following night they got even worse and apparently it's called oculogyric crisis, felt like I was fitting. Being treated with sedatives now which have really helped, it's a month later now though and I had a series of episodes last night of oculogyric crisis. Has anyone else had similar experiences and how long did your symptoms last?

I was diagnosed with GCA June 29 and put on 50 mg prednisone. Most symptoms (awful headache, jaw claudication, facial edema, neck/shoulder pain, fever, dry cough, ESR 41, CRP 8.9) resolved. I am now on 40 mg prednisone, but continue to have fatigue, mild fever in afternoons, and weakness. Some days I feel almost back to normal, but then I relapse into the fatigue and mild fevers. Is this just what GCA feels like or should I be feeling better? My jaw is also still messed up and feels as if my bite is off. I read about flares, but not as much about the day to day life with GCA while waiting for it to resolve.
