Women :: Pea-sized Bump After Shaving Bikini Area
I used to shave my bikini area (really badly) and about a year ago I got just 1 bump - the size of a pea - and it's been there forever now and it just won't go away!! There's no white head or anything since it's just the exact colour of my skin, it doesn't hurt at all but it's just a bit embarrassing!! I've tried creams and needles but it's still there... any ideas on what this could be???

When i shave my bikini area i get really bad pimples and bumps. I know this is extremely disgusting. I use shaving cream, and a new razor. I tried shaving with the hair like some other sites told me to, but too much hair is left, i simply can't shave like that. The only way i can get rid of all of the hair is if i shave against it. I soak it with warm water for at least 15 minutes, then apply the shaving cream, then use a new razor, and afterwards i'll dry it well and usually apply petroleum jelly and some kind of antibacterial cream to stop the bumps or wipe it with alcohol. My pubic mound is now covered with pimple scars and is discolored, is there anyway i can make my vagina look normal again?

I shaved with a razor that was a little rusty. I Didn't realize this until after I was done... Ive developed this strange rash...its itchy. Not raised or open sore. there's an elongated lump on my inner thigh and it hurts to walk. i am 15 and not sexualy active and i don't feel comfortable talking about this with my mom. it doesn't have an opening or anything and i don't have good pain tolerance. but if i ice it and stick a clean needle in it will i solve this? it hurts soooo bad and im glad im not the only one.

I have a what seems to be a rash around my bikini line. It is making my skin uneven and itchy down there. I am getting open sores down there as well. I am not sure how I got this. I haven't been sexually active in over 4 months and this just started occurring maybe for a week now. It started with just an it here and there but it has gotten so much worse. When it first started, I was putting neosporin on the rash but it just got worse. Now I am putting African Shea butter on it and it stops the itching. And ever nice i started i would get these in grown hairs. I am half black - so i guess i am prone to that (curly hair growing inwards). But now almost my entirety of my inner thighs are covered with these dark marks and scars. And too many ingrown hairs. I am too embarrassed to go swimming, I never wear shorts because you can see them. Also I have these sick pimples down there... Waxing - - the scars are still there! i had unprotected sex on SUNDAY sept 1(pull out), plus oral and protected a week or two before that.
***note: it happened on burning man, with no shower, little water, a lot of sun, and i knew this guy was drinking a lot and taking drugs and not sleeping for a week. it was the end of the day 2 for me and i took a small amount of MDMA that day.]
5-7 days later i was feeling tenderness and a little tingling burning pain, but thought it was my period, which was unusually heavy as i`m on birth control.
MONDAY sept 9 i knew something was wrong. the tingling got worse and i went to some doctor i knew for blood test and he also gave me DOXYCYCLINE (he s not a gynecologist) i also asked for ACYCLOVIR in case have herpes. i started taking them at 4pm
TUESDAY morning i threw up with yellow stuff and had a lot of green/yellow/brown watery then cottage cheese discharge, which became yellow watery and by the end of the day pink. pain got worse
WEDNESDAY morning i went to free clinic, where they told me most likely it CHLAMYDIA or GONORREA, told me to continue doxy and gave me shot for gonorrea
THURSDAY i noticed the discharge got water and thicker, pain was still there. in the afternoon after a long flight and traveling i noticed red single BUMPS on my skin in my bikini area, between ******* and vagina and above the clitoris, some of the hurt, some itch, not considerably. 7 in total, plus one on the labia, just not sure if that`s a bump. the next day 2 of them had water inside. i immediately texted my friend i knew he has herpes and he said it looked like it 99% and we now can be in relationship ha! i wasn't sleeping all night, googling and googling, pain seemed to increase and the bumps itched a little bit.
FRIDAY i went to my gynecologist and he said it`s not herpes(the culture text will be ready in 10 days), not even STD, but YEAST. He said you are not supposed to be treated without knowing the reason and doxycycline is old and not supposed to be taken for a week but for 2 days. also the std test will show only in 2 weeks after the exposure.
stopped taking meds and taking xre of my yeast now, hoping for the best. and i got my lesson!!
Women :: Bleeding Itchy Bump On Bikini Line
Okay so I am pretty worried. I shave my bikini line every now and again when needed. This morning i woke up with a little spot in my underwear that was bleeding. I haven't shaved in a few weeks. I checked down there to see what was up and right on my left side of labia there was a red bump. It feels really smooth and it is a tad bloody. It also itches. I AM NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE.

I looked around for someone with the same problem, but I can't find it. Just in case anyone mentions it, it's not herpes or anything. It's just a stubborn ingrown hair wound that refuses to heal correctly...
I've had this one vaginal sore for months now. Sometimes it's healing well then it opens back up again with blood and sometimes pus. I find it really hard to stop this cycle. It's on the far left, so that every time I walk, my upper thigh rubs against it and irritates it. Taking a shower will soften any healing tissue, rendering it useless. Then there's the fact that the area is just naturally moist, so that will also soften the healing tissue.
I clean it and administer neosporin if the wound opens. Sometimes I try to cover it with a band-aid but... ouch. Usually, I try to keep it covered with some sort of gauze, but that doesn't work out well because it moves around.
Does anyone have any advice for getting this thing to heal?
Epidermoid Cysts :: Sebaceous Cysts On Bikini Line Area
I have 2 sebaceous cysts on my bikini line area near my rear end. They have both gotten infected and I put ice on them to bring down the inflammation. When the infection was gone, I put hot compresses on them to help get them to form a head and when they started to drain, I helped by squeezing them. I have been using antibacterial soap in that area and they haven't come back so far.
When I was first diagnosed that these were sebaceous cysts, my OB GYN had said that it was best to not have surgery because of their location. She had prescribed antibiotics - which didn't help.
I didn't see a lot of comments about cysts by females in the bikini line region, so I wanted to share my experience in case someone else has them in that area of their body. I wish there was an easier and less painful way to get these suckers off of me, but I have yet to find a way.

I have a bump on my anal sphincter. I have no stds, have never had anal sex, and I have never had a hemorrhoid. I hope I do not have one so I would like more information. It just appeared about a week ago. I did shave down there the night before and had sex that night but its a normal routine so I don't understand why I have it. Could it be a cut from my razor that could have gotten infected because of friction? But its not white. Same color as my skin. Could it be a pimple? I don't see a head anywhere on it. Is it a hemorrhoid? I haven't done anything different that would cause that.

So I've had some itching for a few months, and back in March I was tested negative for STD's. I've noticed some itching again, some days worse than others and some days not at all, and on Tuesday I grabbed a mirror and saw these bumps and just about had a cow. Ive had 2 partners since March and neither of them have ever had an STD. Does this look like something I should be concerned about or is it just sensitive skin/ razor burn??? Alright so I went to the dr two weeks previous to having sex with a new partner and I was clean. I had pretty rough sex with this new partner a week ago and the lubrication wasn't very effective it was pretty painful. then developed a chest cold a few days later which I thought was normal because everyone in my family had been sick at the time. Well a day or two ago (a week after intercourse)I noticed bumps near my vagina. Now I shave so I figured it to be razor bumps. But I also noticed something that looked like a tear at the entrance to my vagina and I assumed it to be from the rough intercourse. At any rate it's probably too soon to tell but there's only three small red bumps and no head to them. They aren't painful to touch but very itchy. The tear is both itchy and slightly painful. I'm headed to the doctor in the next few days because I'm simply freaking out, but if anyone could take a look and give me some advice for ease of mind that would be great.
