I started my period early and it was normal it ended last Saturday and then what I had thought was it had came back the following Tuesday but it is just spotting and it is bright red what could be going on?
View 1 RepliesMy period ended a week ago, and i've been spotting every day since then. My discharge alternates between a very light pink to a thick brown discharge. I'm not sexually active, so pregnancy is definitely out of the picture. I've never had anything like this happen to me before. I feel completely fine. No pain or anything. Nothing such as my diet or stress level has changed. I am 23. What could this be?

I had a full screening a month ago and all my tests were normal. I noticed last night I had slight pink smears with wiping after sex and slight cramping the day after I am not as sexually active and I am due for my period in a week should I be worried?
View 1 RepliesI'm 17, and I got my period when I was about 13. It would come fairly regularly, but I never really tracked it to the day. About 2 years ago my periods became further apart, every two or so months, but I never really payed attention. I now haven't had my period in over a year, and am beginning to get quite worried. I have been to a doctor (about 6months ago) and had blood and hormone tests, all of which came back fine. My doctor said to come back if I still hadn't had it in a year, which I plan to do as soon as I can get an appointment. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on why it might be? I am a virgin, eat completely healthy, exercise every day, am at the middle of healthy weight range for my age/height, and have never been on any birth control. My doctor said he thought it unlikely to be cysts but I'm not ruling it out (just crossing my fingers that it's not). I haven't been too worried as its quite convenient with my very active lifestyle, but i realize I need to get it sorted out.
View 1 RepliesI had my period was June 2015. I have now taken my period for the first time since then, and it has been going on for 3 weeks and doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I am 24 years old and have went to my doctor about this, but they said it was normal. Honestly I don't think it is normal but I might be wrong. Has anyone experienced anything like this and know what could be wrong? I do have Crohn's disease but I don't think it has anything to do with that.
View 2 RepliesIn my last 2 cycles I have noticed more changes than usual for me. I have started spotting about a week before my period and have pain almost from ovulation onward each cycle. I have been tired most of the time, temps are all over the place even after ovulation, have a combo of diarrhea and constipation as well as an influx of acne. I do have a Drs appointment but I have to wait a month to see her. Anyone else had anything similar? I usually have painful periods but not usually all month long and many symptoms of Endo, just never been diagnosed with it as of yet.
View 1 RepliesI am 24 years old and have 2 daughters. After my second daughter I had a tubal ligation during my second c secsection and even then I only bled for about 2 weeks right when I had her. I haven't had a period since then and she will be 2 in Feb 2016. I do experience mood swings and bloating, even back pain like I had when I was menstrual. Even with diet change I cannot lose weight. I had my thyroid checked, even got tested for diabetes and the doctors don't know anything except the absence of my period isn't normal. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do?
View 2 RepliesMy name is Marielle and I am a sixteen year old female. I started birth control about two years ago due to severe cramps and stopped after about one year when they ended. Since that year, I have not had cramps or my period. I cannot remember if I stopped menstruating while weaning off of my daily birth control pill (or forgetting to take more like), but I have become somewhat worried. I have not consulted a doctor about this yet, but plan to soon. However, if anyone could help me to see if I should be more worried or stop worrying, that would be great. I am very nervous about there being something wrong and a possibility of me becoming sterile. Although this may seem a bit out of proportion, it is still a very present and scary nagging thought in my head.
View 1 RepliesI used to get severe period pains as a teen and then into my late teens they settled however I could never use tampons.I was doing great until I had my tubal ligation nearly 7years ago.my periods slowly became heavier and sometimes I am in agony but it might be a lighter period.My vagina and entire genital area feels like it is raw and being shredded. It's painful to sit to stand or do anything.I also get severe back pain and pain around my c section site.I don't bleed a lot between periods but its generally old brown blood. I don't have any std's and I do not want an implant in my uterus. I know something is wrong and I have approached both my doctor and nurse and I have been told there is nothing that can be done.I am in chronic pain and every period makes it worse. I can't have a uterine infection because I have just been on so many antibiotics, all 3 of my children arrived via c section but I was ol until I had the ligation.please please please help me pain medication ibuprofen,voltaren,paracetamol none of it helps even taking it every 4 hours.please help me the pain is unbearable.
View 3 RepliesI started Yasmin a year ago (21 active pills and a week break. Always start the pack on a Sunday) to help with my PMS symptoms. I've been quite happy with them with the only exception that my period always starts about a week before my last active pill (I don't stop taking them when this happens, just take them as usual until the 21 days are over). My doctor said this can happen and that it's nothing to worry about.
Now I am going to visit my boyfriend from the 17th to the 25th september and would hate to be on my period then . I got my period today and i still have 7 pills left, so again, it's a week early. Looking at the calendar if my next cycle goes like this i'd start my period in the midst of my visit. If i wanted to postpone/skip my next period should i continue taking my next 21 pills without a break after i finish this pack? And then a third pack after which i'd have a weeks break? Or could this cause my period to come even earlier because my body is not used to this?
I've been on Junel birth control for a few years, I originally went on the pill at 14 due to heavy prolonged periods. My pap was normal last year. I've started dieting last week and lost 5 pounds so far, however, I skipped a pill, and now I'm cramping and bleeding heavily. It's still a week before my scheduled period with the pill, and I've been bleeding 5 days. It's still kinda heavy. It's South beach diet I'm on and I'm 22 by the way.

I had spotting a week after the sex. since then I have had vomiting sensations every now and then and fatigue and dizziness. My period cycle is usually 35 days. Now I have white discharge since my missed period and pain in my lower back and breasts. I took a test a week back but it was negative. what should i do and when should i take a pregnancy test again? Are these the symptoms of being pregnant?

I have also been feeling hot at night the last 4 days with sweating (although the Temp outside is v mild for this time of year)so could just be that.Getting a few spots here and there that don't usually get.I am taking the tabs for bleeding inbetween periods short term at the mo.
View 2 RepliesI was supposed to start my period the 26th. On the 23rd I had a spot of blood when I went to the bathroom and didn't spot anymore after that. Yesterday (the 2nd) I started what I thought was my period but it was brown/black lumpy blood, enough to go thru a few tampons and it ended today (the 3rd). My periods are always regular and I've never had brown/black blood before. My husband and I have been trying for a year. Has anybody else had symptoms like this and what was the outcome?
View 2 RepliesI have been taking birth control pills for about 6 years now, on and off. I usually take it every month, however for the last month I did not take the pills. My periods did not come after the month ended but it came after about two months for itself. I started taking the pills after my periods finished and into about a week of the pills, I began spotting, this never happened before. I have protected sex with my bf, so I highly doubt I am pregnant, but I still wanted to find out what could be the causes of my irregular spotting?

I got my period Oct.19th and this month it should be around the same time, around Nov.19th. I had unprotected sex on Nov.12th. Can I get pregnant? It is “normal” for me to miss a month here and there, I don’t have a set cycle length and even for a few months last year, I had periods every two weeks. I am now 19 and have not had a period since November and there is 0% chance of me being pregnant. Is it likely to still be just puberty or should I go to my GP?

Missed period and pink spotting again march 3rd. I feel bloated, get dizzy when getting up , i eat n few hours later feel hungry again and use bathroom more frequently. Could i be pregnant? Or what could it be ? Help
