My husband and I had a rough "session" this morning and we had a bad mishap. my perineum has torn; it is approx 1 to 1 1/2" torn. This has never happened to me and I am quite worried. Its Sunday and my gyn office is not open. It looks deep enough that I may need stitches. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else and if I should purchase liquid band-aid.

It could've been rough and I don't get wet easily. I am 30 years old. We have had sex before. Anyhow the same thing happened the second time on the same day, this time we were indoors. However, the third we did it, it was all fine. The next day as well there was no bleeding. I took an emergency contraceptive pill on the third day as we aren't planning for a baby, at least not anytime soon. I am worried and stressed out. View 1 RepliesLast night the end of my foreskin went all dry, rough and shriveled up. Rest of the foreskin is smooth as normal.
The skin at the tip of the foreskin mildly red/tender (with white dry skin bits) when my penis is in a flaccid state however during an erection the tenderness and redness is much more pronounced. Pulling the skin back whilst erect is much more painful(although its usually quite painful to do that normally anyway due to my foreskin being very tight during an erection).
This has only happened once before in my life and the doctor said he was convinced it was down to poor hygiene if i hadnt any recent sexual activity other than masturbation. He basically said that I should wash there more often and then prescribed me some cream and it went away a couple days later and did ease all the symptoms while the cream was on tbh (but my paranoia was telling me it would have done on its own anyway). In this case i have been living at someone elses house looking after it while they are on holiday and they have no hot water so havent washed down there in over a week. The obvious answer would be that is the cause but i just wanna make sure.

View 2 RepliesThis is something I remember having as long as I've been paying attention to my vagina. But, I'm not sure if it's normal that just above the vaginal hole (inside my labia), instead of going in, my vulva (I think that's what it's called) goes out and there are tiny rough lump things.
I have ignored it until now because I assumed that it was normal. It isn't very noticeable or discolored or itchy - but if i rub it or touch it too much it is ever so slightly sore (but that could just be because the vagina is sensitive?).
Also, very occasionally I experience a very faint, not painful burning-type sensation when I pee but I always assume it is because I haven't had a shower in a while and it usually goes after I wash.
Oh, and I get a lot of discharge, too. I think this is normal because it isn't a weird color or anything but it comes out in a big lump sometimes if I haven't gone to the loo to wipe it off in a while. I wear black underwear and it appears white on top of that.
I really don't want to go to the doctor unless completely necessary, but could someone please let me know if I'm going to have to see a doctor or if it is normal? By the way, I'm a complete virgin and haven't ever had any kind of oral, penetration, or anything else, sex. But, I have masturbated.
I'm embarrassed to even type this question but when I was around ten I fell on a bedpost and had to get surgery on my vagina area, a couple years later I noticed that my vagina doesn't look normal. There's a red piece of the vagina hanging on one side and another smaller piece on the other? It might be that my vagina ripped due to the stitches not working or something? Also on the bottom of my vagina looks a bit torn and has white fleshy stuff showing? I want to have sex in the future and I'm 19 but I'm a bit embarrassed to go to a Gyno even though I have heavy periods because I'm afraid of revealing this...I'm on my parents medical plan so if I get surgery I don't really want to tell my parents because this is so embarrassing...What could I do? Is this serious and was the doctor who did this supposed to do a checkup or something because I wasn't aware of this for awhile so it could've torn over the years?

I am a rectocele with perineum repair.. will they shave? Am I best to get the area waxed instead?
View 10 RepliesI had a tubal ligation in July after my third child was born (c-section). I bled the normal amount afterwards, about 6 weeks. Then I finally, got my first real period on October 27th, it lasted until December 13th, it came back on December 23rd and it still hasn't stopped, I made an appointment with my gynecologist for the 19th. It's a pretty heavy flow, I have to change my pad and tampon every 3 hours, I can go 6 at night. I'm not anemic, I had my iron checked at the health department when I went for my recertification. It's been 9 weeks of cramping, back aches, and bloating, I'm just really done at this point. I would like someone's opinion on this, has anyone ever had this happen to them? Is it just a hormone imbalance? Does it seem concerning? I don't want to go to my appointment completely oblivious as to what it might be.

About 2 years ago my periods became further apart, every two or so months, but I never really payed attention. I now haven't had my period in over a year, and am beginning to get quite worried. I have been to a doctor (about 6months ago) and had blood and hormone tests, all of which came back fine. My doctor said to come back if I still hadn't had it in a year, which I plan to do as soon as I can get an appointment. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on why it might be? I am a virgin, eat completely healthy, exercise every day, am at the middle of healthy weight range for my age/height, and have never been on any birth control. My doctor said he thought it unlikely to be cysts but I'm not ruling it out (just crossing my fingers that it's not). I haven't been too worried as its quite convenient with my very active lifestyle, but i realize I need to get it sorted out.

I am 24 years old and have went to my doctor about this, but they said it was normal. Honestly I don't think it is normal but I might be wrong. Has anyone experienced anything like this and know what could be wrong? I do have Crohn's disease but I don't think it has anything to do with that.

About a month ago, I had intercourse with my boyfriend, and afterwards I bled heavily and cramped really bad for a week. I know this bleeding was not my period because I still had a week to go before I took my pills that would start my period. When it was time for me to get my period, I had light bleeding and it ended a day earlier than it should. We used a condom and I take my birth control between 5pm-6pm every night. Does anyone know what could have happened to me? Am I pregnant? I'm just really worried because now I've become bloated, constipated, and I have pain in my lower left and right sides.
