I had a bloody discharge from my right breast on the left side from one area blood came out of that area first and the discharge along with the blood was thick and sticky. My doctor also found a knot in my right and left breast under my nipple area. I had a mammogram and it was negative as I knew it would be I have fibroid cysts should I be concern I am going to see a surgeon about it and they said he would do a ultrasound I am concern because breast cancer is bad on my mother side she had it and her sister. And on my farther side both of my aunts have it and one of them died from the breast cancer. Can the 2 knots be removed to make sure their is nothing wrong within my breasts.

I had a mammogram 5 months ago because I had a little bump in my breast, and nothing was found. Two days ago I found a large hard lump in my breast. I had another mammogram today. The doctor wants a biopsy because it is a solid mass. I'm very freaked out. I guess I just want to know what to expect and how worried I should be. I don't know what to think. I feel like I should be planning something. Getting ready for something. But I don't know what.

I am 24, have only had one sexual partner, and have been taking the pill for almost 5 years now. In the last couple of years, I have experienced a thick, brown, bloody discharge during/after sex. It was random at first, but then almost every time. I have changed birth control pills twice due to this condition. Still nothing seems to be changing. It is back to being random rather than every time, but it is still very frustrating to my partner and myself. It's messy and unpredictable. I am wondering why this is happening and if I can stop it? I'm tired of going to the doctor and being told I am fine and all they want to do is switch my birth control method.

Basically, my problem arises around 9-10 months ago now. In mid November I had a new sexual partner and within days I started getting weird discharge. I immediately went to the sexual health clinic, and the lady told me I couldn't do a test till it had been a week (or it was 2, I can't remember!). After a week (or two) I went back and got checked for EVERYTHING from chlamydia to HIV. Everything came back clear so I went back and she did a swab, she then told me I had BV (Bacterial Vaginosis). She prescribed me with some antibiotics and I was hopeful these would solve my problem and I would no longer have to worry.. I was wrong. I do think I did have BV that one time, as I've never had that smell since and it was one I can't even describe. I then returned to the sexual health clinic and got told I had thrush. I was given some tablets and cream for that, the problem still didn't go. The discharge wasn't as watery and didn't have the same smell, but it still wasn't right. I returned and once again, back to square one, got told I had BV.. Antibiotics again, then back to the sexual health clinic to be told I had thrush again! I finally got fed up of going to the sexual clinic and booked an appointment with my doctor in hope something else could be done as I was sick of being put on antibiotics. I explained to my doctor everything that had happened and she asked if there's any chance it could be an STD and I said no, as I haven't had a sexual partner since that one time I slept with that boy. I've been too embarrassed to with all these problems, it's knocked my confidence massively! She had a look and said she "had a feeling" what it could be, prescribed me some antibiotics and then told me my test results would be back later in the week. About 4 days later, she rung me and apologised for putting me on antibiotics and told me it was thrush I had. I came back in and collected a prescription for 3 pessaries, after doing this it didn't work. I returned and she put me on diflucan for 10 weeks.
This is where it really starts..
About 6 weeks ago, I was one tablet away from finishing my course of diflucan when I noticed a discharge I definitely hadn't seen before. At first it seemed like blood, but it was very, very dark. I had a check up for my contraceptive pill that week with the nurse so I went in and explained to her what had been happening. Luckily my GP happened to be in that day and the nurse called her in and got me to explain and repeat everything I had just told her. My doctor explained she thought I might have BV which might be causing bleeding, so she tried to prescribe me metronidazole AGAIN. I explained I'd been on it a lot of times before and she changed it to the metronidazole gel instead. She said if it didn't work I should come back straight away. It didn't work so I rung the doctors to book another appointment. This time my discharge had changed and it was no longer black. I took a picture to show my doctor as it was so hard to explain. It was almost a white clump with what looked like blood vessels inside, I can't explain it! Had a pinkish/purplish tint to it. After returning to my doctors I had a different one and I explained everything and showed her the picture and, like every other time, I got examined and had a smear test done. She didn't tell me what she'd tested me for but she said she was almost sure they'd come back clear, but when she did the smear test she had to give me a sanitary towel because I bled a fair bit from that. When I had got dressed and sat down she said "please don't think it's cancer because that's very unlikely due to your age" which annoyed me a bit because I'd never once tried to imply that! Anyway, she rung me later in the week and said the test results came back clear and she didn't want to refer me to a gynaecologist just yet. So she's arranged an ultrasound (transabdominal and transvaginal) for the 12th August. The bleeding has been really bad the past 2 or so weeks, it's been black and I've been having lots of stringy clots. However, the whole abnormal discharge and bleeding together has been going on since November last year! I know I have my ultrasound in a few weeks which will hopefully give me answers but does anyone have any idea what it might be?

I have been having intercourse with my boyfriend regularly for the past 5/6 months and we never use any type of protection (yes I know, really bad) we always just make sure he pulls out and he does and everything is just fine. I know that a "safe" time to have sex is during my period due to the fact that the ovule that wasn't fertilized was disposed so that happened. I was around my fourth or fifth day of my period (my normal period lasts 7 days) and he finished inside.. It's happened before so I'm positive there is no problem with that.
When my period finished, I noticed that I have had a lot of discharge and I don't know what it is or why it's happening. It's clear and very watery and sometimes I notice a "different" smell to it, I can't explain it though, it's a bit strong but it's not a completely foul odor either. I believe I should be in my fertile days about know or soon but this has been going on for about 2 weeks now and I'm starting to get worried. Does anyone know what it could be?
Could it be some sort of infection? Or a natural cleansing process? Or something else? Should I worry? Please respond soon as to I am very concerned

For the past couple days I have been experiencing this insanely disgusting odor from my vagina, especially during intercourse. At first I thought it was the smell of dry blood because my partner and I started having intercourse the day my period was suppose to end. After we finished we both noticed a horrible smell and that there were brown stains. I assumed that it was dry blood, but after a couple days the smell and brown discharge did not disappear, it just got worse. I felt some discomfort during intercourse but other than that physically I didn't feel anything, the only thing that was uncomfortable was the disgusting smell. The discharge was a brown liquid most noticeable when whilst on the toilet. I noticed that the discharge was coming deep within my vagina. So I started to google my symptoms and I my results came up with having a vaginal fistula. But it didn't make sense. I came across this website and the forum started by pain and shame, where you are now no longer able to comment thus why I am starting a new thread, and saw that she had the exact same symptoms that I was experiencing. I continued reading and she said that the root of her problem was a lost tampon. I thought to myself "no, that's impossible". Once reading the comments I went to the bathroom to check and to my utter most surprise I indeed found a tampon deep within my vagina. I was completely shocked, I had no idea that this was even possible. The tampon had rolled up deep inside and was difficult to remove, you definitely need time and patience to remove it. This definitely opened my eyes, I never knew this was possible and the consequences could have been dangerous, such as TSS. I just want readers to be aware that this can happen and if anyone is experiencing what I went through they should first check for a lost tampon.

I am 30 and I have thick white fishy discharge that I can smell through my clothes. My periods are always painful and my pee is green and frothy and stings when it comes out and I have a sudden urge to go to the toilet, sometimes I don't always make it in time. I get pain during sex as well.
Urine tests are always clear and pelvic ultrasound in 2007 ruled out a gynae problem. I was invited to have a cervical smear but I've put it off because my last nurse didn't talk me through what she was doing and got annoyed with me when I told her it hurt so what do I do?

Okay, I am only 16. I am sexually active with my boyfriend.. I have recently just been treated for a UTI . My medication is done but now I have a discharge that smells funky.. It smells like old period blood. But anyways after I had sex I noticed this very thick, sticky, milky white glob of something on my boyfriends penis.. I thought it was sperm but it ended up being me. my boyfriend and I only just started having sex 3 weeks ago, and we used both contraception pill and a condom. After about two days after each time (only been 3 times) I have a pink/brown bleeding. Since four years i'm having a problem of high level of prolactin. my younger daughter is going to be 5 in oct. I've used the "parlodel 5mg"daily for 6 months or so. The discharge controlled but now one of my right breast is still having a drop of green discharge when i squeeze. since, a week or so i'm feeling slight pain under my breast. i want to ask that what this exactly is? I'm a 22 year old female and i've always thought i've had problems with my breasts. According to my mom, I developed breast really early.
I got my period when I was 9 years old. For as long as I can remember, both of my nipples are inverted, I never thought anything of it.
Also, I've always had this WHITE, STICKY, SORT OF CLUMPY discharge caught in between my nipples. It's easy to wash off but it always comes back.
Recently i've been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and for some reason i've been focusing on my breasts too much. I had breast pain on the breast that was slightly larger than the other. No lumps, but doctor gave me an ultrasound anyways to ease my mind. All normal and no cysts, inflammation, or lumps. I had mentioned to my OBGYN about the little sticky discharge and she didn't seem worried about it. All she said was "Oh it's just dead cells from your nipple, its normal"
but is it normal?!
It's not uncontrollable discharge and its not liquid, its like sticky white clumps. Is this something that happens to women or even men with inverted nipples?
if you know someone or yourself have this, please let me know so i can ease my mind. My anxiety revolves around my health and I'm terrified that i might have some type of disease or even cancer.
oh and by the way i read that a tumor can cause this? well thats crossed off because i had a brain MRI done last month for horrible headaches, all normal too.
