I have a big lump in my left bottoms eyelid. It hurts to press and it's never happens before. Its about 0.7mm across and it is bigger than usual.
I have no cysts in my eyes or never had anything wrong with them. Should I be worried or not and what should I do now?
I have had a numb left leg for about 5 months now from my thigh down to my knee and it seems to be getting worse and going down to the rest of my left leg. I also have these weird scars that look red or bloody from the inside and there is 3 of them and they showed up out of nowhere overnight. My doctor has given me blood tests and MRI's and nothing has shown up abnormal.

I have had 6 operations, 3 on each eye to correct eyes.
I believe that my right eye is getting worse. Vision wise, and squint too.
I only had my glasses changed last November, then only 2 months ago. And Already is my right vision with my new glasses getting worse again. That's only 2 months.
I am seeing someone this Tuesday about it as my optician thinks it's to do with my squint and hitting my head as to why my vision is getting worse.
I was just curious as I am struggling with stairs. If I don't know the stairs I have to hold on and go slow. Like yesterday was in a shop and the stairs was all the same wood, I thought I was going to fall down them as I walked up to them but didn't prepare myself, the feeling is horrible feel like you're on the edge of a cliff. If I know the stairs and they are not too wide. But also my question is, can I drive? I drive now, but have always said I struggle.
My left eye has weak nerve in retina and the retina also dry and I see in it only 10% (can not distinguish things, I can know there is something here or something maybe is moving ... like this).
Is there any solution specially after stem cells science has been developed?
I'm partly blind in my right eye due to being hit with a rock 23 years ago I have a scarred retina can it be repaired? My right rye goes to the right do my eye are not straight can this be helped
View 1 RepliesI'm 19 years old, I've had glasses for a long time (got me newest prescription 5 months ago), and I'm always on my computer. I spend many hours a day on it because I have college online and all of my hobbies include using a PC. But for the past few days, my eyes have started hurting within a few minutes of looking at any bright screens. Even scrolling up and down through web search results makes me a little queasy. Nothing has changed about my lifestyle or health except that I have a rough sinus infection that started around the time the eye problems did.
Again let me reiterate: this has never ever happened before. I'm not on the computer anymore now than I have been in the past, this is just a sudden thing.
I seem to be alright when I'm not looking at a screen, but I haven't driven anywhere so I'm afraid the motion my make it difficult. I scheduled an eye exam already, but it'll be two weeks before I can go in so is there anything that might ease my mind, or at least make sense of my situation?
I have a lump on my left ear, I've had it for a couple of weeks now and when I push it it hurts. It has now moved further up my ear towards the top of my cheekbone. The lump is hard. When I fist noticed it it was purple but it has no gone back to it normal colour but hasn't gone just moved.

But the lump concerns me and I feel pain on my caves that feel like its being pulled. The lump might be nothing it could be a bug bite that I'm thinking to hard into.

For the last 3 days I've been at my boyfriend's and we've been having intercourse about twice a day, there is now a clear hard bump a little smaller than a pea on my labia that isn't painful just uncomfortable, it is pretty red and is localized to this one spot. It feels as if there is something hard underneath the skin like a pimple or a cyst. What could this be?
View 1 RepliesI am a 23 year old female. A week ago I was rubbing my neck when I noticed a swelling near my left shoulder extending down to my collarbone. The swelling is quite visible and I can see my right collar bone in the mirror but not my left one.
After palpating the swelling, I felt something hard and big and higher up on the base of my neck there was another hard "ball" that was smaller. I know these are probably my lymph nodes but I am concerned about the swelling and the fact that it is hard to the touch. The swelling is painless by the way, even when I press it. I don't know how long its been there for and I only discovered it by mistake a week ago.
I know that lymph nodes general swell up when an infection is present but I haven't been sick with the flu or anything in a long time. I have noticed a burning sensation at the back of my left shoulder and I feel a tingling/numbing sensation down my left arm sometimes but prior to finding this swelling I never thought much of it.
Besides this, I have had an itchy rash for a bit over a year now, I've been to several dermatologists and been told that I have chronic urticaria for unknown reasons and I should just take antihistamines to relieve the intense itching. Otherwise I am perfectly healthy with no other symptoms. I am starting to worry about this swelling and will be making an appointment to see my GP asap. What should I expect when I see him? I don't want to take antibiotics because I don't have any symptoms of an infection whatsoever.
I am 39 years old. I have a lump about one and a half to two centimetres in size on the left side of my neck midway between my ear and collar bone. It has been there for at least over a year and a half, possibly longer. It is hard (feels like a round bone) and painless, even when firmly pressed. There is no colouration or abnormality on the skin above or around the lump. I have seen several doctors at the same hospital here in Japan where I live (they keep referring me to different departments within the same hospital), all of whom say it is either a schwannoma or a lymph node tumor. They also tell me that there is a high risk of performing a biopsy (needle or open) because there are a lot of nerves in the area of the neck where the lump is located. All of this has also been explained to me in either low-level English, or fast Japanese which I am not good at. It has been extremely frustrating, as I feel I haven't received a great explanation of any diagnoses or what my options are. I have been referred once again to another doctor, this time in the ENT department, by a doctor in the oncology department whom I saw today, my 4th visit (and department!) to date.

I have another lump i can feel under my right ear. I feel my right ear canal is noticeably more closed than the left and this side of jaw alwaysclicks loudly whenever I open it over halfway and close. Both ears are very often itchy on the inside. I don't have pain. I often get a dry throat and feel like vomiting especially in the morning. I wen't to my GP but feel I wasn't taken seriously as I have a history of anxiety. View 1 RepliesI developed a hard (bone-like) lump on the left side of my nasal bridge 3 weeks ago after falling asleep on my couch. It's very painful and aches all the time, even without touching it. It's grown a bit bigger as the weeks have gone by.
Now, I have developed symptoms of a sinus infection and chest infection, that won't go away.
I'm constantly tired and my immune system is the lowest it's ever been, seeing as in the last few months, I've needed an operation to remove a pilonidal sinus, my appendix and some ovarian cysts (that were haemorrhaging), and straight after, this!
Other symptoms include -
A loss of appetite
Weight loss
Just feeling blue all the time
Headaches
Fever
Pain under my left eye
Very large lymph nodes in my neck
Is it cancer? Especially if I did nothing to aggravate the bump??
I'm a 19 year old girl, who doesn't smoke or drink.
I would love to know if other people are experiencing this, or if anyone can help me figure out what this is, because I'm sick of being sick and of being in hospital, and would like to get on with life.
For a few days now i've had this very painful golf ball sized lump on the inside of my left vaginal outer lip. I've tried heating pads and warm baths but it seems to not surface or go away. It is very hard and seems to have a fever. It has become very difficult to walk or even get up. Even when I'm laying down, it feels so uncomfortable and hurts. I can't even sit down properly.

I've been to see my GP numerous times, and finally got referred to a urologist yesterday. I was there for a about 5 minutes, he had a quick feel and said nothing was wrong and didn't give me much assurance or guidance as to what I can do to help myself.
I've had a very small cyst on my left testicle since late 2008, and have been told that I have nothing to worry with that.
When I exercise I tend to aggravate the ache more so I haven't properly exercised in months which is very annoying for me.
I tend to notice the ache a lot more when I'm lying down, but it does go away after a while.
I would like to ask about my mom who is 50 years old known case of htn (controlled) and treated case of hepc (compensated cirrhosis).
She has a history of tooth extraction on the left side 1 yr bacK
she has been having these symptoms of unilateral feeling of heaviness in the ear on the left side and left face below the eyes and forehead and also on the occipito parietal side of the head (left only) .This heaviness when increases turns to a dull ache.she has been having these symptoms with varying intensities almost continuously .It does go away but it comes back.Got her ENT examination done but it was all fine.
Please guide me with available informations for Hematuria having dysmorphic red cells ,pain,left side face numbness.
View 1 RepliesJust recently I was diagnosed with a small goiter & nodule on the left side. The doctor ordered all of the tests (TSH, T4 and TPO antibody level) and everything came back normal. The biopsy on the nodule is normal as well. Benign and no signs of cancer. My concern now is regarding my goiter & nodule. If my test results are all normal, what caused it to enlarge? What do I do to shrink it? My doctor will not give me anything because he said there's nothing wrong with my thyroid. The functions are normal. It just enlarges for a reason sometimes.
