Vaginal Health :: Red Spot/sore On Vagina

It started as redness and itching then a horrible red swelling-I went to the STD clinic yesterday absolutely terrified and the Dr assured me it was not warts and not herpes-she said she'll test for herpes just in case but as she was doing the test she said 'this is a spot,if it comes back as herpes i'll be VERY surprised, it really doesn't look like it at all, this is just for your piece of mind'. She seemed very sure I was okay for that. She examined me and did a smear, had a proper look at my vulva and said I was being silly, this is just a spot and not to worry at all.
I stupidly had sex this morning (my boyfriend and I have been together 2 years).
Today it's worse, it's horribly angry looking, red and swollen and sore. I've put on antiseptic cream-I'm relieved it's not an STD but at the same time, what on earth is it-if it's just a spot, it's bacterial-I shave so I guess I could have caused it, hurt my skin, it's in a dodgy area right at the top of my slit so it's enclosed and that area is all warm and enclosed I suppose so it'll heal slower than a spot anywhere else.
What can I do to help it heal faster and stop the infection spreading? I'm so scared :( Anybody else had anything like this?

I have an irregular shaped discoloration or sore on my vagina that I noticed a few months ago while I was examining myself to find the source of my vaginal burning. It is a purple and red color with what appear to be darker specks near the edges. I have been referred to a gynecologist but the wait time is 7 months. I am worried about waiting that long. I do not have any bleeding as I had a full hysterectomy. Also sex with my husband is painful.

Every time after sex i notice blood come. I am married since 11 years. The blood is very little amount. And. It continue 5 hours maximum. My general Physician done a pap test . It came normal. But i heard that before pap test i can not do intercourse. But the day my sample was taken i had sex before.is that correct if i di sex before the test abnormal cell may mask. For that reason the result came normal? I always use condom. For what reason the blood can come.

I have painful blister-like sores around my vagina on a couple on my vaginal lips and I'm wondering a. how I can ease the pain/get rid of them and b. what they are.
Just to give a background on the last few weeks: I got a particularly back strain of tonsillitis a few weeks ago and was put on very strong antibiotics to clear it. After this I had a slight itch and touch of thrush which cleared up after taking a dose of probiotics. A week after the itch I shaved all my pubic hair, I stupidly didn't trim the hair before I did that. I had sex with my boyfriend after this, he's the only person I've been having sex with for 6 months and vice versa. I have experienced pain after having sex with him and some skin tears due to his and my size (he's quite large and I'm apparently smaller than average). I then got my period this week and started to feel irritation which was mild at first like usual grow-back irritation after shaving and then it progressed to quite irritant and painful - I'm assuming the pads I was using didn't help matters. To ease the irritation I was using an antiseptic cream which would typically be used for nappy rash.
When my period was done I examined myself and felt small bumps, first they were under the skin and are now over the skin and blister-like and some have popped and seeped. My vaginal lips are quite dry and there are a couple of pimple-like bumps on them which are quite painful. I soaked in a warm bath last night with a couple of drops of tea-tree oil, some baking soda and some E45 dermatological emollient bath oil and this seemed to help. When I woke up this morning the pain had eased slightly but the sores which had popped were crusted over with a yellow pus. I cleared this and the pus has not returned, but they are still painful. The pain seems to mostly be coming from the hairs that are growing back in the area irritating the sores. I have been using E45 dermatological (and alternately Savlon antiseptic) cream to ease the itching and give me some relief.
Basically, I'm looking for suggestions on how to ease this pain and clear the sores up. If anyone has had a similar issue and knows exactly what this is help would be greatly appreciated. From examining myself and researching STIs/STDs online it does not resemble anything I've seen but if anyone has a suggestion they are more than welcome!

I looked around for someone with the same problem, but I can't find it. Just in case anyone mentions it, it's not herpes or anything. It's just a stubborn ingrown hair wound that refuses to heal correctly...
I've had this one vaginal sore for months now. Sometimes it's healing well then it opens back up again with blood and sometimes pus. I find it really hard to stop this cycle. It's on the far left, so that every time I walk, my upper thigh rubs against it and irritates it. Taking a shower will soften any healing tissue, rendering it useless. Then there's the fact that the area is just naturally moist, so that will also soften the healing tissue.
I clean it and administer neosporin if the wound opens. Sometimes I try to cover it with a band-aid but... ouch. Usually, I try to keep it covered with some sort of gauze, but that doesn't work out well because it moves around.
Does anyone have any advice for getting this thing to heal?

For a couple weeks now, my vagina has been red, irritated, and itches like mad, and the perineum (I think that's what it's called.. The skin between the vagina and the anus) is ripped slightly. I've looked up several things - but I'm not getting any sort of smelly or nasty discharge. I'm not sexually active and haven't been for over a year, (I don't even masturbate.) but I do take birth control simply for the period control. I've been on birth control for about three years now and haven't had any problems with it lately.
I've never been to the gynecologist, as my doctor made a deal with me and I don't 'have' to go until I turn nineteen. I'd much rather avoid that at all costs. I have a vaginal cream that's to be used when itchy or irritated - but it says for outside use only.. So I don't know if I can use it on the irritated place which is on the inner labia - not the outer.

I have a bad odor coming from my vagina when I sweat. It makes my pants smell in the crotch area. Sometimes it happens when I'm not sweating. I use a feminine wash and spray, but no change (good or bad). I asked my dr and she doesn't have an answer for me.

A few days ago, my vagina was itchy and I think I scratched it too hard because it became raw and sensitive and there were red-ish stuff underneath my fingernails.
the next day my boyfriend fingered me and there was blood, quite a lot in fact. it looked as though I had my period. however, I already had my period this month. I suspected its because my vagina was raw from the scratching and the fingering made it bleed.
today, I realized that the areas where I scratched had formed dry skins/scar-like stuff.

So I'd generally be super embarrassed about this but I really need help here and I don't have ready access to my doctor right now. I am seventeen and Have been sexually active for almost a year now, sex has ALWAYS hurt, I can't remember it ever really feeling good. I haven't noticed this until now, and I can't imagine it's been there for a year without me noticing it.. but i have a bit of skin at the top of my lovely little lady bits (vagina hole) its not abnormally colored and it doesn't really hurt. The reason i mentioned the painful sex earlier was because i am wondering if that could be the cause of it? but anyway i noticed it sticking out a little earlier last week and I'm sort of worried, I've been reading and am now wondering if it could be a part of my hymen still attached to me? But I'm worried if i try to have sex again that it'll hurt? I'm also worried that it's NOT my hymen and something more serious?

I have been feeling an uncomfortable, rubbing sensation around my vagina. I went to the look at it not too long a go and it hurt to pee. I then noticed a that it was bleeding slightly, as though I've got a scratch around the area. Being a 14 year old girl, and not having had sex, I wasn't quite sure what it was. I took a shower afterwards, and the area was extremely sensitive to touch. I later discovered that the lips around the vagina (i think it's called the labia) were red. All around this area, and around the clitoris is raw and the skin seems to be peeling off. I also have very awful smelling discharge. It's a dark yellow in color, then turns brown later on. I am really worried, and have no idea what this is. I have missed two of my periods, although I think it's alright since I just started this February. As i said before, i have never had sex, is it an infection? Is there anything i can do to soothe the pain? Will it just go away?

I am only 15 and when I take my tampon out pretty much every time it gets stuck on this strip of skin and it was slightly painful. I stopped using tampons after I discovered it thinking that it will go away in time, but a year later I had to use them again when I was on holiday and I found out that it was still there. Please help me I don't know if I should stop using them! I am worried about when I loose my virginity or when I give birth that it will cause problems and just be messy and even more uncomfortable.

I've been actively seeking help on this problem as I'm so worried and confused. I'm 18 years old and in a monogamous relationship with a guy I've been dating for 4 years. We've never ever had previous partners, and we both lost our virginity to each other. I've never been concerned about STD's before, but a recent event has me worried. We had sex about a week and a half before the date I'm posting this (1/22), and yesterday evening I started noticing an itching/rash-like pain in my vagina. It doesn't hurt when I urinate, it only hurts to the touch. There's no abnormal discharge, either, and I know I'm not pregnant. However, I did take a flashlight and a mirror up there and noticed very small bumps-- some had white heads and some were pink-- in my vagina.. Are these normal? What are they? I have never had a yeast infection before so I'm not sure if this is what I have.

I have a slightly embarrassing problem. Over the opening of the vagina I have a string of skin from one side to the other. It can hurt when it gets too dry or when I sit on a funny angle as it sometimes protrudes. It doesn't interfere with sex but is annoying and uncomfortable.
Could it be a skin tag? If so, what can be done about it? What else could it be?

This is embarrassing but I found a pea sized lump in my vagina. I'm still a virgin and I have my period and have had them for about 3 years and their normal but I first noticed this when I tried to use a tampon but it hurt. And then a few days ago I tried to finger myself (my friend suggested that I shout try it) and I only used one finger and I felt small bumps and it felt like when I tried to use the tampon... But like I said I have never had sex and the pea sized lump freaks me out heaps and I'm not sure if its because I'm a virgin or yeah please help me I'm to scared to see a doctor or tell my mother!!!
Also my hymen doesn't fully cover my vagina "hole" but it looks small but yeah anyways.

I am 26 year old virgin and having vaginal infection, it was swollen and itchy with thick white odorless discharge. I went to gynecologist and told symptoms without any examination cause i was requested her not to do so and she gave me candistat for candida infection treatment. Now the itchiness and discharge is almost gone, swelling is no more but it is reddish pink from inside what i checked by taking images, and I can see a lump kinda thing at the opening. I am afraid if it is some kind of bad lump that need some attention. I can attach the image here.

I have a fleahy lumpy feeling bump on the inside of my vagina its near the vaginal opening not far in, it causes no pain but it worry's me. It just recently appeared or I haven't noticed it. I am not 21 yet spo I can't have a pap but I am sexually active.
