On July 5th I had both my tubes removed because they were blocked/scared as a result of a ruptured appendix. I couldn't start the IVF proceed until they were removed. I am all healed after a month and I am still waiting for AF to come to start the IVF testing....What has the wait been for others after tubal surgery? It's hard and strange to wait for Aunt Flow!

View 1 RepliesMy husband and I have been TTC for about 1 year. I was suppose to get my period on Sunday, it is now Thursday and Aunt Flo still hasn't shown up. I took a PG test yesterday and it was negative. Today I am experiencing an unusual amount of white, watery discharge. Also, last time my husband and I had sex (Sunday) he said, my discharge was thicker and creamier than normal. From what I've read, I think I might have an infection BUT I can't help to HOPE I might be PG.

I have had terrible joint pain in my knees from the shots which prevent me from walking and doing the active sports I love to do. And from the 4th day till today (7th day), I started to bleed with the flow is similar to the 3rd day of my usual period time. I had my period about 17 days ago. View 12 RepliesI had unprotected sex the 23rd and got my period the 24th, 25th, and the 26th. I had a regular flow until the 26th, where my flow just stopped midday like a faucet. This has never happened to me before, my period has always decreased in flow until I've had just brown discharge. I've never gone from a regular flow to no flow just like that. I ovulated earlier in the month, the 9th. Could I have gotten pregnant?
View 1 RepliesI am 24 years old and have 2 daughters. After my second daughter I had a tubal ligation during my second c secsection and even then I only bled for about 2 weeks right when I had her. I haven't had a period since then and she will be 2 in Feb 2016. I do experience mood swings and bloating, even back pain like I had when I was menstrual. Even with diet change I cannot lose weight. I had my thyroid checked, even got tested for diabetes and the doctors don't know anything except the absence of my period isn't normal. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do?
View 2 RepliesI used to get severe period pains as a teen and then into my late teens they settled however I could never use tampons.I was doing great until I had my tubal ligation nearly 7years ago.my periods slowly became heavier and sometimes I am in agony but it might be a lighter period.My vagina and entire genital area feels like it is raw and being shredded. It's painful to sit to stand or do anything.I also get severe back pain and pain around my c section site.I don't bleed a lot between periods but its generally old brown blood. I don't have any std's and I do not want an implant in my uterus. I know something is wrong and I have approached both my doctor and nurse and I have been told there is nothing that can be done.I am in chronic pain and every period makes it worse. I can't have a uterine infection because I have just been on so many antibiotics, all 3 of my children arrived via c section but I was ol until I had the ligation.please please please help me pain medication ibuprofen,voltaren,paracetamol none of it helps even taking it every 4 hours.please help me the pain is unbearable.
View 3 RepliesI'm 16 so my first Wisdom tooth is coming in and from what I've researched it's "impacted". My tooth is half grown and is growing towards my gum. It's absolutely throbbing and it's a Sunday meaning my dentist isn't open. I can deal with the pain until Monday but honestly I'd rather not because I'd miss college.
I know a dentist that's open on Saturdays but I'm unsure how that would work cost wise as I'm under 18 so I should be covered by the NHS but I d'no if I have to prove that I am so if anyone knows that would be helpful. Also, is my wisdom tooth an urgent issue? Yes, it's painful and gets worse but other than that is it urgent? Finally, does an impacted wisdom tooth guarantee extraction and do you need to take a parent to the dentist with you as i'm not currently at home?

I have noticed 2 or 3 months ago that there is some light yellow discharge somewhere between the actual skin of my body and the clitoral hood. It isn't always there but my period is irregular because I'm 16 and I can't tell whether it has any connection or not with it. It smells bad and I have no idea what it could be and why.

View 4 RepliesA few months ago I was told by my obgyn that I had bv and was prescribed Flagyl. I found out soon after that I'm pregnant, so I can't take the flagyl until I hit my second trimester (I'm only 9 weeks right now ugh!). Anyway, the bv really didn't bother me at all at first, but the past couple weeks I've been extremely itchy and dry. To the point where I can't even leave the house because it's so uncomfortable. Also, I've noticed a lot of thick white "balls" of discharge around my clit. I wash it but it just comes back within a day. Is this the bv finally causing symptoms or something else?? Maybe a yeast infection, I'm not sure. I can't take any antibiotics for another few weeks but does anyone know of any way to provide some relief until then?
