I have been masterbating for 6 years. I noticed about a year ago that my vagina lips have skin a lot of skin hanging off of them. I think it was maybe masterbating to much or to hard. I looked in a porno and I saw girls have the same thing . I just want to know if its normal and if not can I get it surgically removed.

Upon returning from the gym today, I noticed a few bumps inside my vagina lips / right around my vagina hole. I haven't worked out in a while and I will be getting my period in the next two to three days, so could it just be acne? I looked at images of possible stds but did not find anything that looked like what I have. They are very small, not too sore to touch, red pimple like bumps.

View 1 RepliesA few days ago, my vagina was itchy and I think I scratched it too hard because it became raw and sensitive and there were red-ish stuff underneath my fingernails.
the next day my boyfriend fingered me and there was blood, quite a lot in fact. it looked as though I had my period. however, I already had my period this month. I suspected its because my vagina was raw from the scratching and the fingering made it bleed.
today, I realized that the areas where I scratched had formed dry skins/scar-like stuff.
So I'd generally be super embarrassed about this but I really need help here and I don't have ready access to my doctor right now. I am seventeen and Have been sexually active for almost a year now, sex has ALWAYS hurt, I can't remember it ever really feeling good. I haven't noticed this until now, and I can't imagine it's been there for a year without me noticing it.. but i have a bit of skin at the top of my lovely little lady bits (vagina hole) its not abnormally colored and it doesn't really hurt. The reason i mentioned the painful sex earlier was because i am wondering if that could be the cause of it? but anyway i noticed it sticking out a little earlier last week and I'm sort of worried, I've been reading and am now wondering if it could be a part of my hymen still attached to me? But I'm worried if i try to have sex again that it'll hurt? I'm also worried that it's NOT my hymen and something more serious?

View 1 RepliesI have been feeling an uncomfortable, rubbing sensation around my vagina. I went to the look at it not too long a go and it hurt to pee. I then noticed a that it was bleeding slightly, as though I've got a scratch around the area. Being a 14 year old girl, and not having had sex, I wasn't quite sure what it was. I took a shower afterwards, and the area was extremely sensitive to touch. I later discovered that the lips around the vagina (i think it's called the labia) were red. All around this area, and around the clitoris is raw and the skin seems to be peeling off. I also have very awful smelling discharge. It's a dark yellow in color, then turns brown later on. I am really worried, and have no idea what this is. I have missed two of my periods, although I think it's alright since I just started this February. As i said before, i have never had sex, is it an infection? Is there anything i can do to soothe the pain? Will it just go away?

I stopped using tampons after I discovered it thinking that it will go away in time, but a year later I had to use them again when I was on holiday and I found out that it was still there. Please help me I don't know if I should stop using them! I am worried about when I loose my virginity or when I give birth that it will cause problems and just be messy and even more uncomfortable.
View 2 RepliesI have a slightly embarrassing problem. Over the opening of the vagina I have a string of skin from one side to the other. It can hurt when it gets too dry or when I sit on a funny angle as it sometimes protrudes. It doesn't interfere with sex but is annoying and uncomfortable.
Could it be a skin tag? If so, what can be done about it? What else could it be?
I'm 17 and I was just wondering about this for a while now. It's a darker color and it just feels like dead skin or something... but it just hangs there and it's like an inch long.. is this normal?
View 1 RepliesI'm embarrassed to even type this question but when I was around ten I fell on a bedpost and had to get surgery on my vagina area, a couple years later I noticed that my vagina doesn't look normal. There's a red piece of the vagina hanging on one side and another smaller piece on the other? It might be that my vagina ripped due to the stitches not working or something? Also on the bottom of my vagina looks a bit torn and has white fleshy stuff showing? I want to have sex in the future and I'm 19 but I'm a bit embarrassed to go to a Gyno even though I have heavy periods because I'm afraid of revealing this...I'm on my parents medical plan so if I get surgery I don't really want to tell my parents because this is so embarrassing...What could I do? Is this serious and was the doctor who did this supposed to do a checkup or something because I wasn't aware of this for awhile so it could've torn over the years?

It is really embarrassing because I can just be sitting in class and I will start to smell it and I don't know if anybody else can smell it. About 2 weeks ago I hooked up with my ex... A couple days later I started having an itching and burning on the outside of my vagina on the outer lips. It was very red and my labia got very swollen... The swelling went down but i've still been dealing with the itching and burning. The skin on my vagina is very wet and it get hard and peels off every couple days. I went into my docs and they said it was vaginitis and a yeast infection on the outside. They gave me the 1 time yeast infection pill (don't remember the name) and i've been drowning my body in probiotics. Nothing is making it to away. It's still itchy and peeling and now it's moved up to my anus. Does anyone know what this is? Is it just a horrible yeast infection?

friday i felt pain and woke up from it. i went to the bathroom to check it out, and i felt a tiny lump on the outer lips and the whole area felt sensitive.
today, it's much much calmer, but i can still feel the lump. it feels a bit painful when i touch it. no discharge. no other symptom at all.

I'm 18 years old i shaved a few days ago & yesterday the hair was growing back causing an itch. i must have been scratching to hard because now i have little paper cuts on both of my lips & between them where the skin is suppose to be pink. it started to bleed so i grabbed a towel with warm water and rubbed it but i did it too hard and my lips swelled but the right lip is worse than the left. i thought it would help if i soak in a hot bath it didn't now today i have this whitish discharge no smell coming out of me the cuts burn like hell what should i do.
