I'm 40 yrs old and my tubes were clamped 21 yrs ago and I am feeling bloated, cramps in lower abdomen and no period this month, dizzy, nausea (bad mostly dry heaves), urinating a lot, vivid dreams, heartburn, mood swings and hungry at all times. But lost interest in sex. Am I pregnant?

I mean I get nausea all the time, my head and back hurt, my husband says my stomach is getting bigger for the past few months, my periods have been shorter and the color is not the same as a normal period, does anyone have any idea what this could be?

View 4 RepliesI'm 23. I have 2 healthy little girls (3 & 4). within the past year me and my boyfriend have been trying for another baby but it hasn't been going so well. I miscarried in April 2015 and again September 2015. I recently found out I'm pregnant again and I'm about 7 weeks along according to my last period. I'm losing faith in all honesty. And if this pregnancy fails I'm no longer trying. Can anyone tell me the rules for getting your tubes tied?
View 3 RepliesI was set to get my tubes tied after this pregnancy, since It's my 3rd, but since both of my deliveries were vaginal Dr feels this one will most likely be vaginal as well. He then said that I would have to go back and get an incision on my lower abdomen, kind of like a c-section, if I do indeed have a vaginal delivery. He then convinced my husband to get a vasectomy. I am in surprised my husband has agreed to do it, but my Dr really added the, "she's done her job," guilt trip on my husband. We are both 29 and will have our 3rd boy (no girls and yes I'm fine with that). My husband and I have always agreed on 3 kids max. How do you ladies feel about tubes tied or a vasectomy?
View 7 RepliesI am having a bladder sling, and rectocele repair surgery done soon, and a tubal ligation. I'm 26 have a 6,5, and 2 year old |(which is y I need to fix what childbirth did to me) I'm just having a hard time with the thought of tying my tubes, something I told myself growing up I would never do. My husband is all for it, he refuses to get a vasectomy, and I've been having a lot of problems with other bc's. So it makes sense, I have 3 beautiful kids, I didn't think it would be such a hard decision. I look at pregnant women and newborns and feel sad. I know it must be the right thing to do, i'm just scared the second I wake up in the recovery room i'm going to have regret doing it.
Has anyone else felt this way before getting their tubes tied? So unsure?
I am thinking about getting my tubes tied but I am scared of having surgery. Has anybody had the procedure done within the last year. I know times have changed that's why I asked recent mothers.

How can we do this with no cost or very little? Please help us . I'm afraid he will want someone else if I can't give us a son and I love him so much and want use both to be happy. I noticed my monthly was a week late in Feb. and have yet to start this month. I was having issue when I urinated and went to get it checked, they gave me something that turned my urine orange. I have been wanting fried egg sandwiches, and noticed this morning that the dog food, (I feed every morning) made me so sick smelling it, then I got cat food on my hand and about vomited. Could it be possible that I am preg? Could this really happen. I have been having mood swings and crying spells as well. Menopause?
View 1 RepliesI had ovarian cyst on my right ovary, so it has been removed 7 yrs ago, and during that time, since i was out of work, and raising 3 kids is quite tough especially in financial considerations and my ex-hub has no work, i decided to have my other ovary ligated. However, now my fiance and i is craving for 1 more baby. He says he might be incapable already since we have been together for 3 yrs now, and yet i haven't got pregnant. I have been having symptoms of pregnancy...tender breasts, darkening areolas, mild cramps, frequent urination...you name it I'm experiencing them. I have two children 7 and soon to be 4. I spoke with my obgyn and was told to take a pregnancy test. It came back negative. Was told to take another one in 2 Weeks. Is it possible to be pregnant after having cauterization done and having an ovary removed? If it is so I'm ok with it, but I'm worried it may be ectopic.
View 1 RepliesHave had a tubal ligation done 18 yrs ago. Went and did blood work a year ago to see how close to menopause i was and results n dr state i have a ways from it. That being said been having weird symptoms such as nauseated period like cramps in my stomach that has never happened but only when monthly comes. So i took a pregnancy test to eliminate that first and got a faint positive. So waited and took another one the next morning first pee and it was the same. Just wanting others opinion on this. Feeling confused and overwhelmed about it all.
