For the past year, i have been having trouble with my sleep and wake up every morning feeling exhausted and feel very tired throughout the day.
There seems to be an issue with my sinus as i always feel pressure 24/7,almost like a throbbing sensation and when i lye down, my sinus blocks up. So if i were to lye on my left side, my left sinus would block up and if i lye on my right, my right sinus is blocked.
My doctor told me this was caused by allergies, although i have been taking allergy pills, weekly allergy shots, corticosteroids, and tried everything else with zero relief.
I also notice that the back of my neck is always sore and i have constant headaches. When i blow my nose, nothing ever comes out.
Anyone have any advice ? I am so desperate for a good night sleep.
Me and my gf are teens and we are both virgins and we tried to have sex and she was sucking my penis and stroking it and I was fingering her and eating her out and I didn't have a boner at the time and I could not get one. It made me so disappointed at myself because I can get one alone. I have a 6 inch penis and it was only about a 3 when we was in bed. She thought it was her fault and everything and it's not bc she turns me on like there no tomorrow. I've got a boner with her before but we wasn't going to have sex or anything. (That was when we started dating) we've been dating for 6 months and we desire to have sex and I can get a boner. I haven't even wanted to have sex since then but it's only been a few days.
View 1 RepliesI have had this problem since my late teens or early 20's. As I get older (now 56) this pain is coming much more frequently.
The pain generally comes when I am sitting or in bed, which is fortunate since the pain is so severe it is very difficult to do anything until the pain subsides. Each episode lasts 5 minutes or so (never actually timed them)
Since my early 20's I have brought this up to my Dr. and have been fully dismissed. Over the alst 10 years or so I never bother mentioning it when I change Dr's because I have not expected an identification.
While watching the Dr. Oz show on TV this morning this was brought up during a question period. This was the first time I heard of others having this and an identifying name for it. I now am able to do research on the internet and decide on further action.
Is cataflam safe enough to be used in toddlers? I am 20 and have 5 years old little sister. As I use cataflam as pain killer, Id like to know if it is safe, usable or toxic for children. I didn't mean to give her a medication, but am concerned about she could take it by herself.
View 1 RepliesMy sons skin is peeling off of his hands and feet. It's not painful for him and it doesn't seem to be itching. It looks like blisters but there's no puss. Now his nails are coming off. I took him to see pediatricians but none of them knew what it was. One thought it was eczema but it was ruled out after test. I'm really worried and want to help him. Does anybody have a clue or maybe have seen this before?
View 1 RepliesI'm lucky to get 3 hours of sleep even with taking ambien. I've tried every natural supplement there is. Within the past 3 weeks I wake up at 3am no matter what time I go to bed like clockwork.
Feels like a shot of adrenaline or cortisol at that time. Even though I'm exhausted my mind will not shutdown.
I have been having issues with high blood pressure. Was given amlodipine 5mg. been having issues with activity. i would get winded and chest pains just from walking to the corner. recently I had another issue start. Lower back pain and I would wake up with a wet bed (urine) not a lot. just a couple ounces i estimate
View 1 RepliesI find it really hard to sleep at night, It almost like my body is exhausted but my brain won't shut off.
I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and one of the symptoms is insomnia. I can't sleep at night but when i finally get to sleep and my brain has shut down when it comes to getting up in the morning for work, I can't. I sleep through alarms, people could be screaming down my ear, world war 3 could be happening and i wouldn't wake up.
I don't have any problem falling asleep, the longest it takes if 20 minutes sometimes. But I ONLY sleep for 5 hours, maybe 6 if I'm lucky. So I try to make myself stay up until 11pm so I can get up at my normal time of 5am. This is very hard because I will usually fall asleep in front of the tv around 9/930.I get up from the couch around 1030/11 and go to my bed, but then wake up at 3 am like clockwork. Last night I fell asleep in front of the tv at 930, got into my bed at 1030, but then woke up at 230! I usually can't fall back asleep either, or maybe dose in and out if I'm lucky. My mind is already awake then.I tried Melatonin years ago, and it worked for the first couple of days to a week. But then I built up a resistance to it and I had to keep increasing the dosage until it didn't help at all anymore.I have gone through different prescribed meds that didn't really work. The one that worked the best(Trazodone) had a side effect that I didn't like(woke up with an extremely dry mouth), and I built up a resistance to that too. I just wanted to see if there were any other meds out there, OTC or prescription, that may work?
View 1 RepliesI'm 13 weeks pregnant, and it seems like when I wake up in the mornings with a really full bladder I can't empty it completely. I also have to push really hard just to get a little to come out. It doesn't happen all the time only when I don't wake up through out the night to go pee. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so how have you resolved it?
View 6 RepliesThis has happened quite a few times over the years and have been to the doctors but they do not do anything. i don't know if it's allergies or what it is. i am completely asleep, sometimes i dream i am drowning or can't breath, but don't know if that is actually because i can't breath and have this sort of dream or whatever it is. i suddenly wake up, realise i cannot breath no air, totally blocked in my chest that's what it feels like. it feels like i have not breathed in ages. so desperately trying to breath get air in, eventually after several minutes air goes in, but at same time i have started coughing and coughing whilst trying to get air in. then also this happens each time i seem to produced something thick down the back of my throat, its like a river and have to keep swallowing otherwise it will choke me, so choking with this thick stuff (which has no taste and going down the back of my throat), and coughing as its blocking my airway, after a long time it settles down. has anyone got these symptoms? what is it? then i could go to the doctors and say hey this is what someone else has had. It is so frightening each time it happens and it only happens when i am asleep. can some please help with their views or shared experiences, there must be others out there with such a problem.i am 48 year old woman on thyroxine for 9 years for underactive thyroid, take 180mg of telfast allergy tablet a day for urticaria (itchy rash, hives) and take nasal spray twice a day for rhinitis.
View 14 RepliesI am a boy aged 17. Since my childhood i noticed that i had eyebags.. Everytime after i wake up those eye bags inflates. I feel very uncomfortable for some1 to look at me. I want to reduce those risks of having it.
View 4 RepliesI have woken up this morning with numbness and pain in my legs. It seems to be getting worse and moving up my body anyone got any ideas what this could be?
View 32 RepliesI'm curious, I'm still trying to determine whether I have RLS or just normal insomnia. Here are my questions if you would be so kind;
Are you waking up at totally random times at night or do you wake up at the same time every night?
How many times do you wake up per night?
Can you feel it's due to leg movement?
I wake up every half hour during the night - is this menopause sleeping pattern? Any good supplements for insomnia - magnesium doesn't seem to help.
View 7 RepliesI've been on Propranolol 80mg for my migraines which have worked very well. One issue with them is that I can wake up during the night and I have great difficulty in getting back to sleep. This results in me being quite tired during the day, as I drive 45mins to get to the office and sometimes 4-5 hours if I'm on site then it was a concern.
I saw the doctor on Friday and he suggested trying Pizotifen, he told me they can cause drowsiness but if I take it at night then I should be OK by the morning.
I've been reading through the experiences here and I'm not too sure about taking them now, I haven't been to the pharmacy with the prescription and I'm unsure whether to bother.
Hi since last ear in April I've had really bad anxiety . Its to the point where I wake up and in my head I say ' whats the point of living if I dont eat much , if I'm constantly thinking of things , and the fear of me dying soon ' . Is this normal ? I'm scared to sleep at night cause I'm afraid I won't wake up ! I often pray to God that he doesn't take me or neither of my family members yet . Not till we're 100 !! But I feel like he will take me soon . This is really stressing me out ! To the point where my appetite is off and I overthink so much . I'm in tears.
View 1 Repliesi have no energy at all.. i sleep a full uninterrupted 8hr+ of sleep a night and still wake up tired .. my eyes are so heavy at work to the point i can not keep my eyes open.. i drink water everyday. i take daily vitamins . i am not overweight and i eat fairly healthy but can not beat this tiredness.
View 1 RepliesI am a 72 year old women and at night when I wake up to pee I have to strain to finally go. It only does this at night. Any ideas what causes this?
View 1 RepliesLast month my nipples were so sore. So sore to the point is wake up out of pain from sleeping on them and had to get off them. I got my period and the pain in my nipples stopped. I've had this happen before so thought nothing of it. Now the side of my boob is having an uncomfortable pain in it. Both boobs have been sore but more so my right one. The pain happens in the same spot and lasts a min or two coming and going. I don't think my boobs have changed in anyway. It looks like i have pours all over them. There are tiny pinhole sized indents on them and lumps big small and tiny and they don't feel attached but I'm pretty sure that's normal for me. I have next to no feeling in them which is also normal. I have not had my period yet this month. So would this be me getting it? Is this something worth worrying about?
