I have been having white seed like bits appears in my stools for a few months now. I'm aware it could be parasites ,I took medication for threadworm but no change . They are about half a centimetre long and white and contain quite a few per stool.
View 1 RepliesSo it all started roughly 4 weeks ago where suddenly one day I was getting really bad stomach cramps, bloating, a lot of gas especially after eating (my stomach would literally rumble all the time, eating or not eating), had very little appetite. Went to the doctors a few days later and they said I had a stomach infection, I wasn't having diarrhea or vomiting at the time.
I started to worry a lot during the next week or so as I suffer from pretty bad anxiety and the symptoms weren't changing at all. I lost about a stone of weight in a week and a half which I assume was down to not eating (I could only manage a few bananas a day)
About a week later my stomach cramps seemed to stop and a pain developed just under my right set of ribs, which seemed to get worse and worse as the days went by. I started to get really loose BMs of a weird green dark orange colour which seemed to reduce the pain and would find myself going 3+ times a day and not feel empty after the first. I find myself needing to urinate a lot more frequently too, maybe cause I'm drinking a load of water?
In my stools are these weird black dry bits of varying length (they were purple today but I'm not sure if that was kidney beans I ate last night) They are dry and kinda look like the bits of popcorn shell that come off the corns before you put them in the microwave, but not as hard if that makes sense?
I went to the doctors a few more times and got shrugged off saying it was all down to my anxiety which was causing the issues?
Finally I got to see a good doctor who gave me a blood test which came back with nothing and said I had IBS which was developed as a post-infection mixed with my anxiety levels. I kept asking if any other tests were required and he kept saying there is no point.
Now I usually have a constant pain under my right ribcage, which comes and goes through the day, usually worse after eating, sometimes under my left ribcage is a feint pain too and sometimes it'll rise into upper abdomen.
So what the hell is going on here? Sorry for the massive essay. I'm just really worried about these black bits in my stool, are they blood?!
I've been getting some anxiety over red bits in my stool. I think It's tomato and red pepper skins as I've read these are hard to digest and I had some red bits in my stool this morning and I did have tomatoes and peppers last night but I'm worried it could be blood. I've had a rectal examination and she said it was all normal. Has anyone experienced this?

View 1 RepliesI have ulcerative colitis and for the past 3 months I've been having streaks of blood on the outside of the stool. Sometimes I wouldn't even notice it if I wasn't looking for it. Then I went through a period where I was having mucus on the outside of the stool as well. I also feel like the amount of times I go to the bathroom started to increase. My doctor thought I had a fissure so he had me take miralax for awhile. When my stool wasn't formed I couldn't see any blood but I'm not sure if there really was any or not. I've also started have stools that were thinner since January. Not every time but a lot. I started Rowasa enemas in the end of December which did seem to stop the mucus for the most part and the stomach aches but not the blood. About a week and half ago I called my doctor because I had two days in a row that I went to the bathroom ten times (for me this isn't normal) so he decided that I need to schedule a colonoscopy which I will have done in about two weeks. But since I've spoken with him i haven't had another day of ten times but still having thin stools and streaks of blood. Should I still have a colonoscopy? I just don't want to do it for nothing.....

About two weeks ago I got some really bad pains in the left side of my stomach, a few days later I had some seriously stong pains down below and couldnt pass urine. Several times during the night I went to the bathroom with a feeling one needing to pass urine but just got this really strong pain and couldnt pass anything then when I finally did it was just a drizzle. the next day I went okay, and there were small black bits in my urine, about five in total. Were these kidney stones? they were very small. whats worrying me is that a couple of days ago i got the pain in the left side of my abdomen again, it was quite bad and kept coming and going over a day or two but nothing since.

I was getting shimmering most mornings when I woke and sometimes going from light to dark or dark to light and occasionally zigzags and even blank bits! Dr said it was probably ocular migraines.
I have just finished my loading dose and they have improved significantly.

I've had it since I was a teen and I've noticed that it's getting bigger over the years. I'm worried and fear that it might endanger my health in the future.
View 1 RepliesOn a doctor's visit back in December, it was discovered that i had microscopic blood in my urine. This went on for a few months, and increased with every doctor's check up. A urologist did an ultrasound of the kidney/bladder back in February, and all was normal. He also did cystoscopy which was normal too. He also did a test which shows my bladder holds sufficient amount of urine. The problem is, we never really figured out what the cause was, and recently i have had a new symptom (mucus tissue looking things in my urine). I am considering going back to a different urologist, but has anyone experienced something similar, or know what tissue looking bits in urine is?
View 4 RepliesSo the last couple of times I've gone to the bathroom my stool hurt coming out and has been bloody. I haven't ate anything that would give me problems. My midwife told me to eat prunes or try a magnesium supplement. Could this be from taking prenatals? Sometimes I feel like my midwife doesn't know what she's talking about but I'm feeling pretty irrational lately. If you've had this problem what has your midwife or ob gyn said? What works best?

I suffer from autoimmune thyroiditis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, interstitial cystitis and heart palpitations, could these conditions be related to these results?

View 1 RepliesI'm gonna make this short because there isn't much to it. For about 3 weeks I have had lower back pain. Not a bad pain. Kind of a pain where I have to sit a certain way or I feel the pressure. Well, the last two days I have experienced some what I can see as if it's black stool. Now, I have had experience with black stool, because I used to for 5 years work on a medic unit. Now I'm no doctor, and all I did was transport patients. Also, my father has had some experience with internal bleeding, and that caused black stool. I don't drink, I don't smoke, all I do is dip tobacco. But, I don't swallow the tobacco. I have no clue what this could be.
View 2 RepliesAfter a bout of constipation early this year (I was on a liquid diet because of a throat issue and didn't consume much fiber for 2 weeks), I had 2 bowel movements with a little bright red blood either on the stool or the toilet paper. Started consuming more fiber, it got better for a few months...2 months ago, had a day where I hardly had any water during the day (was out and busy and it just slipped my mind except when I was super thirsty), then I had a little bright red blood again. Today, I was riding a bike, my butt started to hurt. Shortly thereafter, I pooped with a little blood on it. My mom has battled hemorrhoids since she was in college. Do you think I have hemorrhoids or should I be more worried?
No vomiting or diarrhea, no unexplained weight loss or fatigue, no consistent changes in stool size or shape...On occasion, I'll feel a burn when pooping.
This has happened to me once yesterday evening and twice this morning. Should I be alarmed?
The stools are usually of diarrhea consistency yet kind of tar like + they are nearly solid black.
