I've had a spot on back of my head ages now. What seems like a couple of years.
I had tried and squeezed it once and it did go smaller but it seemed to gradually come back.
I haven't tried any treatments as I am not sure what will work.
It doesn't hurt me but it's just not nice to feel.
Did anyone ever notice to suddenly appear on the arm a small spot of deep wine color of the size of a little fingernail? Then I believe with time it turns brown. Yes, I'm a senior and I'm afraid these are old age spots, but I'm puzzled that they should appear as a wine color. I only noticed this twice in my life. My other age spots appear just brown.

I went to the doctors 3 weeks ago with red patches under me foreskin and a single spot on the head. Doctor diagnosed a fungal infection and prescribed canesten 2%. 3 weeks later, it's not getting better. If anything, it's getting worse and I'm starting to worry now. I've never had unprotected sex and I haven't had any sex in a few years.

View 1 RepliesToday I discovered a blue purple spot at the top of my butt near the crack. It isn't raised but it is sore when I touch it. What is this? It looks like a very small bruise but I don't remember falling so i don't think it is.. I'm very nervous about it because I had an abscess around this time last year and I had to have it lance which was very painful and i don't want to go through that again. However, this bump looks quite different from the abscess I had. Please help!

View 1 RepliesI 'm just curious about a spot kind of thing I have on my scrotum. The spot itself looks cream in appearance and it looks as if its under my skin on my scrotum. The spot doesn't hurt however it doesn't pop even if i try my best. It seems as if there is something hard inside it and no matter how hard I try I can't pop it. Here's my concern: Every morning (not all times, but most often) in my nose there is always a spotted while spot like lesions grouped together then after I took a bath it leaves a red spot that makes my nose reddish appearance.

View 2 RepliesFor about 3 months now, my fiance has had an intensely itchy area on the left underside of his scrotum. We tried numerous powders and creams, both medicated and unmedicated. Some would work for a few minutes to a few hours but nothing "cured" it. The area is very wrinkly and dry looking. He scratches and itches it so much that it starts to get raw. I stopped using any laundry detergent at all on his boxers and just washed them in water. He said it helps, he isn't as itchy as he was before, but its not going away.
My crazy mind is now going all over the place to try to solve this and I began to wonder....
I, myself, have been suffering from recurrent episodes of bacterial vaginosis for about 2 years. I treat it with vaginally inserted metronidazole and it goes away. Then, sometimes weeks, sometimes months later, it comes back. I just did some research and am going to try some home remedies for myself.
I find conflicting information online about men and a bacterial infection. I read that it is uncommon for men to get this and if they do they USUALLY have no symptoms. Is it possible that he got it from me and is now starting to show symptoms? And I only treat myself so are we just passing it back and forth? Maybe these are two completely different issues but I have to wonder and ask. I hate to see him so uncomfortable all the time, and I know I hate the symptoms I get with my BV.

I first noticed hair loss when I was around 18. My hairdresser at the time said it was because of heavy use of hairspray at the time but i now know it cant be as I stopped using hairspray as soon as she told me this bit my hair as gotten worse over the past 8 years.
I Don't lose hair in big amounts and there's never a lot of hair loss in my hair brush or pillow on a morning after a sleep. So I just don't understand why i have hair loss.
I have hair loss at the sides of my head and underneath near my neck. Thankfully you cant see it when my hair is down but I don't want it to get any worse.

View 15 RepliesI'm having real problems with the skin on my face. I've never had brilliantly clear skin (the odd spot here and there) but since early December I've experienced lots of dry skin and acne around my mouth, on my nose and a small part of my forehead.
I went to the GP mid-December and she said I had cold sores which seemed infected, so she prescribed me antibiotics and a 10-day course of aciclovir tablets. However, at that time the sores were localised to around my mouth and over the past few weeks I've broken out with more spots all over my face. The red sores at the edges of my mouth are still there too.
My skin is itchy and sore, when I apply moisturiser it is very sore and the spots appear redder. Also if I apply face cleanser the spots become more aggravated and show no signs of clearing. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is very dry.
It's really bothering me at the moment, I don't want people to see me in this way and it's affecting my self esteem; I had to cancel a date last week. Can I/Should I asked to be referred to a dermatologist?
I'm 25 years old so don't believe this is usual pubertal acne. I believe there's a chance the spots all over my face are linked to the cold sores, but they didn't improve after I was on aciclovir. Is it possible for cold sores to affect your whole face and not just around your mouth?
Does the Pred effect anyone's hair as it seems my hair has gone very dry it's a mess. Also my skin has got really dry.

I was only wearing a soccer shorts nothing under it. when I got home I looked at my penis and under the head of my penis the skin was really swollen. I tried putting it back to normal but It's too swollen that I can't put it back to normal. So i decided to go to bed and hope that swollen part will be gone by morning.

14 months ago I was bitten by a small tick. A few months later I still had a small bump looking like a pimple and it was itchy. I went to my skin doctor and he said it's nothing to worry about. He looked at it and had no further suspicions.
It is still there looking like a small pimple with fluid inside. Very Very small ! and not really red.
Should I test for Lyme ? Is there a possibility that the Tick's head is still there?
Is it possible that it is simply a scar from scratching it ? (can scars look like small pimples?)
