Skin :: Purple Spot On My Butt

Today I discovered a blue purple spot at the top of my butt near the crack. It isn't raised but it is sore when I touch it. What is this? It looks like a very small bruise but I don't remember falling so i don't think it is.. I'm very nervous about it because I had an abscess around this time last year and I had to have it lance which was very painful and i don't want to go through that again. However, this bump looks quite different from the abscess I had. Please help!

I've been in a bit of pain for the last 2 days, when I noticed yesterday a spot like lump has appeared just above from my anus, along my butt crack. I've researched online and several medical sites have advised that it should disappear after a few days but itself. But the pain is unbearable when sitting or lying and I'm really starting to worry. Anyone know how to reduce the pain.

Did anyone ever notice to suddenly appear on the arm a small spot of deep wine color of the size of a little fingernail? Then I believe with time it turns brown. Yes, I'm a senior and I'm afraid these are old age spots, but I'm puzzled that they should appear as a wine color. I only noticed this twice in my life. My other age spots appear just brown.

I have had this bump under my skin on my inner thigh for about 36 hours. It's more dark red/purple and tender to touch. It's also hard/more firm around it. It looks more like a pimple under the skin, but no whitehead or anything has appeared above the skin (at least not yet.) Other than that, I have no symptoms. It hasn't itched and I can't see any bite marks, not that there necessarily has to be any in order to be a bite.

I have a bump in my arm size of a dime and has a little purple color. When i touch it the pain is like a bruise but if i press down it goes away and rises slowly. I've had it for over a year.

For the past month, I have had this purple bump on my waistline that itches. It will break open and then come back. Yesterday, while at work it felt sore, so I went to the bathroom to take a look. It turns out I now have several of these bumps on the front of my waist (around where my belt line is) and little black dots that almost look like blackheads. Last night I put rubbing alcohol on one of them and it immediately burst open. Today, they are sore and itch.
I also suffer from keloid scars on my chest and back because of severe acne in my junior high days. I am wondering if this is just acne acting up again or something more severe. The use of google suggested eczema or scabies.

So I have these pimples on my butt but more closer to the crease and then also on the upper inner thighs. They do not hurt at all and my bf tried popping one yesterday and it left a huge hole and nothing came out but he said it looks better today and some seem to be disappearing a bit as he cleaned it really well and is careful when popping pimples. I also noticed a cyst on my armpit today and that one hurts. My bf wants to see if what he did helped it but I really just want to know because it's been there for a few months and seems to be spreading an I don't want that.

I was lying in bed the other night, and I felt a lump on the outside skin between my vagina and rectum. I got up and with difficulty, tried to look at it in a hand mirror. There is a purple/dark coloured lump... about a centimeter long? Like a blood blister sort of thing?

I've been dealing with this rash on my butt for a few years now. It only shows up in a sort of red "ring" where the cheeks touch. It's a little itchy (my anus is not itchy or red) but mostly just painful. Sometimes it will go away for about a week but it's generally there in some level of severity.
At the advise of a doctor (I went in about a year ago), I tried using clotrimazole 1% for two weeks at a time. It doesn't seem to do a whole lot of good.
Any ideas? I'm really tired of the near constant rash.

I'm 15, and this has been going on for a few months, but I have some kind of pimple or something right where my butt crack begins, and it's in between my cheeks. It kinda hurts when I sit down but only in certain positions. Just earlier I pushed on the area something came out, it has no color or smell but it's wet and I can tell it's there, and now it's like a little red spot possibly an Opening but can't get close enough to look at. It's right on the end of my tail bone. I've did some research and came up with "pilonidal cyst" which it could be but i read up on it and it is a possibility but I'm thinking it could just be a pimple.

I have a spot behind my ear. It is the size of a normal spot and red looking but has been there for well over a year now, just does not seem to go. It has not got any bigger but can't get rid of it - any ideas?

I've had a spot on back of my head ages now. What seems like a couple of years.
I had tried and squeezed it once and it did go smaller but it seemed to gradually come back.
I haven't tried any treatments as I am not sure what will work.
It doesn't hurt me but it's just not nice to feel.

I 'm just curious about a spot kind of thing I have on my scrotum. The spot itself looks cream in appearance and it looks as if its under my skin on my scrotum. The spot doesn't hurt however it doesn't pop even if i try my best. It seems as if there is something hard inside it and no matter how hard I try I can't pop it. I have had it for over 3 months now and its not going away so i'm really worried. Can someone please help me and tell me what this thing is and how can i get rid of it.

I don't know to explain this... as long as I remembered i'm suffering this when I was still in college. Now i'm working for almost ten (10) years now. Here's my concern: Every morning (not all times, but most often) in my nose there is always a spotted while spot like lesions grouped together then after I took a bath it leaves a red spot that makes my nose reddish appearance.

Okay, so what is exactly is this? I've had it for a year and a half and it's really getting on my nerves. I have problems with dry skin, so maybe this is the result of me not getting enough moisture? Could it be melasma? Anyway here are some pictures :I'm pretty sure it's not melasma, but then again that's coming from the person that doesn't know what's going on with her face. There is a red bump that came up on my butt cheek it looked like a mosquito bite but got a few more around it thought it might of been ringworm bc it looked like a circle I scrubbed the area with bleach, I know that wasn't smart but it went away and let a slight dark spot on the area well the bump comes back from time to time in the same spot what is it? It's a Lil itchy only when I think about it but it's the same as before except it just had a few Little bumps around the middle bump.

For about 3 months now, my fiance has had an intensely itchy area on the left underside of his scrotum. We tried numerous powders and creams, both medicated and unmedicated. Some would work for a few minutes to a few hours but nothing "cured" it. The area is very wrinkly and dry looking. He scratches and itches it so much that it starts to get raw. I stopped using any laundry detergent at all on his boxers and just washed them in water. He said it helps, he isn't as itchy as he was before, but its not going away.
My crazy mind is now going all over the place to try to solve this and I began to wonder....
I, myself, have been suffering from recurrent episodes of bacterial vaginosis for about 2 years. I treat it with vaginally inserted metronidazole and it goes away. Then, sometimes weeks, sometimes months later, it comes back. I just did some research and am going to try some home remedies for myself.
I find conflicting information online about men and a bacterial infection. I read that it is uncommon for men to get this and if they do they USUALLY have no symptoms. Is it possible that he got it from me and is now starting to show symptoms? And I only treat myself so are we just passing it back and forth? Maybe these are two completely different issues but I have to wonder and ask. I hate to see him so uncomfortable all the time, and I know I hate the symptoms I get with my BV.

A couple of years ago I noticed a brownish spot appeared next to my belly button. A friend told me it was probably just an age spot / liver mark (although I am 20). Yesterday, I noticed it was flaking off and itchy. Today, it looks like this. Reddish but white in the middle. I'm really concerned and have been anxious over this since last night. Does anyone know what this could be?? (The redness around my navel has been there for a while too.)

I've been having various health problems over the past 8 months. However, one symptoms that I have been having is purple knuckles. I was curious to know if anyone has raynaud's only in their knuckles? It heavily affects the top knuckles closest to the wrist, especially the one on my pinky. However, all the knuckles have been affected at some point. The main reason I don't believe it's raynaud's is because it doesn't affect the top of the fingers at all and I don't have any other color change except purple. It doesn't happen every time I am cold and they don't seem to hurt or tingle when they change colors.
