Sexual Health :: Overly Sensitive Clitoris?

I'm 21 and have been sexually active since I was 15. For as long as I can remember, I've had a clitoris that is way too sensitive to touch. It's very easily irritated by my pants digging into it, etc. I ride horses (jumping) and a lot of times I have to wear a pantiliner just to keep my pants from rubbing against it uncomfortably. I can't even touch it myself. The only thing that ever truly touches it is the water in the bathtub.
I've instructed partners (including my current boyfriend) to avoid directly touching it as much as possible. As long as they touch around it, I'm fine and things are great. But if they get too close, that extreme, intense sensitivity ruins the mood for me. It's almost painful, if that makes sense.
(Sex is still very enjoyable for me, so that isn't an issue.)
But is there anything I can do, or is this just the way that I was "wired," so to speak?

Ever since I can remember my tastebuds have been very sensitive to taste and to pain. For instance whenever I drink a fizzy drink I have to stir it around a lot because otherwise it hurts to drink it and I can't eat spicy foods without extreme pain to my tongue (even mildly spicy). I can also taste things in food and drinks that others can't, such as limescale in water and pesticides used on vegetables. I was wondering if there was a name for this or if it was a condition or something, also I would like to know if anyone else has this problem so I know I'm not alone.

This is my second bout of PMR. The first time I really did not experience any side effects of the pred...with the exception of small weight gain and slightly moon faced.
I have been back on pred for 2 months. Started at 20mg. I am now down to 15 mg. I will be reducing by 1 mg / month until I reach 10 mg. Then I will reduce by 1/2 mg/month.
Anyway, I am having a very difficult time with depression this time. I am usually a pretty upbeat person, but I find myself sinking. I am so unhappy,
I am also starting to have 'mild' suicidal thoughts.. aka maybe I should just take the whole bottle of Attivan. As quick as the thought enters my mind, its gone.
Adding to this PMR...my husband passed away 8 yrs ago. I am now feeling like I did in the 2-3 yrs after. I am 62 yrs old. The only thing that keeps me going are my 9 grandkids. The problem is that I have built my whole life around only these guys. Prior to PMR and pred, I was doing fine.
Anyway...has anyone else experienced this. And if so what did you do?
I keep telling myself to stop feeling sorry for myself and move on.
I have no pain, Thank God. It's just the head confusion, lack of focus and now depression.

I have had a couple growths on my clit and near my clit for quite sometime now, I recently visited a gyn and she assured me that it wasnt genital warts or herpes. Has anyone else had skin tags? how did you get rid of them?

I'm an 18yo female. I've been sexually active for 5 months, and lost my virginity 2 months ago. Recently, I've noticed small white pimples on my clit. I've seen one or two before, they come and go. But this time there are 4 white ones, and 2 that look like they're gonna be white after a few days as well. I inspected my clit in white lighting and found small indents that look like pimple scars as well. I'm kinda scared as they're uncomfortable and itchy when I focus on them. My discharge has been normal, and they don't look like genital warts from the research I've done. I have no idea what this could be? I don't want to go to the gyno as they ask if you're sexually active and my mom doesn't know that I am and she'll be the one bringing me there so.. If any of you have had this problem before, please tell me how you solved it!

So my boyfriend has been fingering my for the last couple days and afterwards and during it. My clit will get very sensitive. I'm not sure if it's natural and will go away and be fine or if it's something I need to worry about. Also its very sensitive and can sting when i go pee.

Recently, I visited a dentist , and my teeth were cleaned. I was asked to be repeating that every six month. However, after the visit, a tooth became very sensitive to anything that touches it, whether hot or cold, or even ordinary water, a kind of pain sends me jumping.
I went back to the Dentist and he directed for an X-ray on the affected tooth. The X-ray showed a hole in between the teeth(an abscess). Some drugs were given to me( Amoxicillin 500mg; Flagyl 400mg; Cata? 50mg) which I have taken for some days. The pains are still there, and the dentist says the tooth will have to be removed, which I do not like at all! Instead, I have decided to to start brushing my teeth twice a day using Sensodyne toothpaste, and Listerine Mouthwash, twice a day. Doctor, will the alternative procedure that I have prescribed for myself eventually save me from the removal of the tooth, which I very much detest?

A few months ago I was told by my obgyn that I had bv and was prescribed Flagyl. I found out soon after that I'm pregnant, so I can't take the flagyl until I hit my second trimester (I'm only 9 weeks right now ugh!). Anyway, the bv really didn't bother me at all at first, but the past couple weeks I've been extremely itchy and dry. To the point where I can't even leave the house because it's so uncomfortable. Also, I've noticed a lot of thick white "balls" of discharge around my clit. I wash it but it just comes back within a day. Is this the bv finally causing symptoms or something else?? Maybe a yeast infection, I'm not sure. I can't take any antibiotics for another few weeks but does anyone know of any way to provide some relief until then?

I really don't know if the hole is above, on, or right below the clit. I finished shaving and I was checking to see if I truly shaved well and I saw something white coming out my clit and it had some hairs stuck on it. I pulled it out and saw the hole above or on my clit. This whole situation is to crazy to deal with. The thing that came out was hard and white and there was a little bit of pressure when I pulled it out.

So the right side of my vagina has been very sore and I couldn't figure out why there is no swelling and it looked completely normal, but my clitoris has been very sore too, and very sensitive and I have no clue why and no I discovered a sort of lump under the skin, like inside the skin, on my right lip of my vagina but very close to like the crease you know on the inside if that makes sense and it hurts a lot I have no clue what to do, I'm going to try and make an appt. tomorrow with my doc, but until then I need some answers i am freaking out. I have had unprotected sex before but I've been to the doc since then and had no stds. And I have had unprotected sex since then.

I've been feeling some kind of irritation on my clitoris, sometimes even pain. The thing that most disturbs me is a lack of orgasm during sex. Even my boyfriend became nervous because of my complaining. I just can’t think of anything that could cause this irritation. Should I ask my gynecologist?

I'm 7 months pregnant with my first child. My husband and I are quite sexually active and faithful to each other. I noticed a small bump on near clitoris. It's the same color as my other flesh. And burns only when I touch it. I'm not actually certain if it's on my labia or my clitoral frenulum. It doesn't burn when I urinate. I'm thinking it may be from friction during sex or I've wiped too hard. But I wanted to be sure. My husband snapped a photo of it but I'm not sure if that's allowed here. I'm recently getting over a bacterial infection and uti. I was given antibiotics taken for 7 days. Then got a yeast infection on top of that. My clit was swollen and my libia was swollen at the time couldn't walk cause they were swollen so bad. I took all the med and the swelling went down. And now my labia and clit is swollen again don't have the discharge like I had when i had the uti and infection. Could it be something else that is causing the swelling?

I have been having this tingling sensation in my clitoris and legs for a couple of days now, I could hardly sleep last night, and if I try and stay still my feet spasm or my legs do.
It's like a constant turned on feeling but it won't go away and it's annoying! My clitoris seems to be extra sensitive a bit red and a bit swollen..

I lost my virginity about four days ago, I'm 18, I masturbate regularly and I've never had an issue with anything downstairs before.
