I have a sore small red spot on the outer labia. It's actually sore to touch. I showed my doctor and she said it is not a sexually transmitted lesion and that it might get bigger before it gets better. She didn't say what it was other than it was a sore.
It rubs and hurts. What could it be?
Last 2 nights I had protected anal sex, unprotected oral and fingering with a stranger I met through an app. Today I noticed a small white/yellow spot around my anus. It is not painless but i kept touching it and now it starting to itch. Have I contracted any STI/STD? And how long should I wait for check up?

Today I just noticed a tiny hard bump on my outer labia. He is clean, and I have had unprotected sex once with an ex at a party about a month ago....he was clean when we were together and had told me earlier he hadn't slept with anyone since me. I really don't think it's herpes, but what else could it be. Nothing itches, nothing burns, nothing hurts, but there is a solid bump, I was trying to squeeze it to see if it's an ingrown hair. I don't have insurance right now otherwise I would go to the doctor, especially after the unprotected sex. Help please? What could this be?

Way under the skin. I thought it went away and I felt it tonight while showering. Flesh colored mainly. Maybe slightly red but it feels hard when I press the area. No other symptoms.

Once in awhile I get small red bumps (I do not remember the correct name but they are not pimples) either on my thighs, close to on on my vagina. I was sick the last two days (just a fever) and went through the hot/cold process, typica fever stuff. Yesterday when I woke up I had one red bump and wasn't concerned simply because I had been sweating during the night. I took a shower and everything and it seemed fine. Today it began hurting when I sat or walked so I finally go home and checked it out. It now went from one to two huge bumps. The outside of the bump is red and raw, the net inner layer is white, and right in the middle of both are two huge black sections. One is on my outer labia and the other is on the next layer. I'm totally freaking out and will probably go to a doctor but does anyone have any recommendations of what it could be or what I should do? I'm unable to sleep not only from the pain but I am beyond stressed out.

View 2 RepliesOn Saturday the 27th I noticed a red spot down at the bottom of my shaft on the left. Exactly one week before this on Saturday the 20th I had, had unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a girl friend of mine. I cannot be 100% sure but I do not think I achieved an orgasm and so did not ejaculate.
The red bump was a bit tender to touch, and so I finished my shower at the time and tried to ignore it. I noticed the next day on Sunday that a tiny yellow head had appeared in the middle of the spot, I do not recall it being tender by this point. On Monday a really small scab had formed as whatever it was began to heal. Doing a lot of research on the internet my biggest fear became herpes, but with this said I was hardly itchy at all and if I was at all itchy it was possibly more out of paranoia. On Wednesday I went to a clinic to get checked up, but when shining the light on my junk the nurse and I couldn't find anything! I went on to give a urine sample and take a blood test. As luck would have it, it was the stupid light because when I got home I could see the spot under normal light, and so it had not entirely cleared as I had hoped. It is now Thursday, five days since I first noticed the spot. It is still visible although now smaller and purple in colour as it continues to go down and clear.
One other thing worth noting is that about two days after having the unprotected sex I noticed a tiny red flat spot the size of a pin prick just below the bell of my circumcised penis. It faded after a couple days. Could the two possible symptoms be related? Does this sound like herpes?
I have to go back to the clinic next week to drop off a second urine sample, since chlamydia doesn't show up until 14 days after sex apparently. Show this spot not have cleared by the day before i have to drop this urine sample off, I will arrange for another one to one.
A question regarding a painless white spot or rash on penis. It was transparent at first but seems fairly visible now. It was a little itchy like a mosquito bite sensation before but feels sort of like normal flesh. It is white in colour and does not have any noticeable fluid accumulation underneath. I did have unprotected sense roughly a month prior to this situation.

The scrotum it self seems a little red on the lower part, it was slightly itchy the red area but I used some cortisone cream and no longer itches, I'm not sure but the scrotum may be slightly inflamed. It does not burn when I urainate or ejectulate . I had a high risk sexual encounter but used a condom and some light kissing 4 days ago. could this be an std or jock itch? since I've been working outside more a sweating more.
View 1 RepliesThe other day I found a small lump on my labia majora (no larger than a pinky fingernail), and taking a closer look at it, it seems to be a spot or boil of some form, though there doesn't seem to be a head. It's red around the area, a little painful and it seems to have some pus like liquid just under the skin.
After having a hot soak this morning it appeared to have had a pin prick sized hole and yellowy fluid started seeping out. I'm unsure if I should continue squeezing it to get the pus out, or put some tissue on it and wait to see a doctor.
2 days ago, I noticed a single red shiny spot on the shaft of my penis, about 1/2 way down on the top side. about the size of a BB. It seems to be just flat, and not raised at all. There is no pain or itching, but it came about rather sudden. I have had multiple sex partners (3) in the last year but have used condoms religiously, without any failure, and it's been at least 3 months since with zero occurrences of this in the past. Could there be a benign cause for this or is it something I should get tested for?

I then noticed these two small bumps on the inside part of my labia majora. They are not next to each other or in a cluster. When I pull the lab is outwards, it seems they are on the same row as little pores. The two bumps are flat, one is a little darker in color and the other is the color of my skin. They are both flat, do not hurt, soft to touch, but one sometimes gets "swollen" and resembles a skin tag. These have not spread anywhere, my husband does not have any, and two weeks ago I had another normal Pap smear. Is it possible these are HPV?

We had sex that night like most nights. The next morning my vagina was sore- externally not internally. It's been about 3 days, and now it feels like there a little cut right where the lips meet at the top, and it is extremely sore right outside the bottom of my vaginal opening. When i pee, the urine hits my vagina and it burns like crazy! I also have about 10 small bumps that are beneath the skin, they almost feel like zits, but are not painful at all. Those also didn't show up until yesterday. My boyfriend has been my only sexual partner for over 6 months, and before that i had sex once over a year ago. So i doubt it's an STD. This is the first problem I've had down there so if it's something obvious.

Keep in mind I already have pubic hair so it can't be those spots. When I say small, it's pretty much the size of the tip of a slightly blunt pencil.

I am confused as to the nature of small, flesh-colored bumps I have near the opening of my vagina and am hoping someone can shed light on what these can potentially be. Firstly, please note that I have made a gynecologist appointment for Friday morning (1/8). I'm sure we're all familiar with the agony of waiting for an appointment, and then waiting some more to receive test results, so I'm hoping that describing the ailment here will help me narrow down the possible causes and relieve some anxiety.
Please bear with me--there are several variables to my situation, including my having the Mirena IUD placed, as well as developing a yeast infection post-placement (common when changing birth control methods, as the disruption in hormone levels affects the pH of the vagina).
Timeline and Facts:
I recently began a monogamous relationship in mid-November, 2015. My male partner and I used condoms in the beginning, but stopped once he was screened for STDs (including HIV and an HSV blood antibody test) and got a clean bill of health. I had been tested in August, 2015 and my results were all negative (my tests included the standard screening, plus an HSV blood antibody test). To date, all of my Pap Smears have been normal.
On 12/27/15, I noticed mild irritation near my vaginal opening, but believed that was due to either 1) frequent intercourse the previous two days, or 2) the beginning of a genital pimple. I've had a genital pimple before, which I learned to recognize by its white head, individual presentation, and rapid disappearance after treatment with a hot compress. When I've developed a genital pimple in the past, it was after either masturbation or intercourse wherein I didn't clean myself thoroughly enough and some remaining fluid clogged my pores. Because I'd been having frequent intercourse 12/25 - 12/26, I thought perhaps I was getting another pimple, and so I treated the area with a hot compress.
On 12/28/15, I visited my gynecologist to have the Mirena IUD placed. Placement, although somewhat painful, went well and fairly quickly. I had some spotting and cramping for three days afterward (to be expected after an IUD placement), but nothing alarming. During the IUD placement appointment, I asked the nurse to draw blood for STD screening, as I hadn't been tested since August and wanted to be sure I was still healthy. I was tested for HIV, HSV 1 & 2 (blood antibody test), Syphilis, and Hepatitis A, B, & C. All results were negative. I was not tested for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, HPV, or Trichomonas because the nurse did not perform a pelvic exam or swab.
My partner and I waited two days after the IUD placement to have sex (12/30), and we were careful not to be aggressive, as an IUD can sometimes be expelled from the uterus. The morning after having sex (12/31), I noticed that my vagina was somewhat sore and inflamed. I believed this to be related to the IUD placement coupled with having sex shortly thereafter. However, the soreness and inflammation continued and grew more intense, and by 1/1 I was also experiencing itchiness on and around my labia. Having had yeast infections before, I used a hand mirror to view my vulva. My labia were red and inflamed and I saw some white discharge. On 1/2 I treated myself at home by drinking fresh lemon juice and eating yogurt with live bacteria cultures. My symptoms improved overnight, and while I was happy to have physical relief, I decided to also treat with a Monistat suppository on 1/4 to be sure that the infection was gone.
On 1/4, while inspecting my vulva again prior to inserting the suppository, I noticed two small, smooth, flesh-colored, slightly raised bumps on my labia minora, immediately outside of my vaginal opening (the vaginal opening itself was still slightly inflamed). The bumps don't appear to have any kind of head on them, aren't open sores, and have no pain, discomfort, or itching associated with them. My previous soreness and itchiness had been located higher on the vulva, between the folds of the labia and closer to the urethra--so I was surprised to find bumps, as I hadn't had any pain or itching near my vaginal opening. Today (1/6), the bumps are still present, even after my yeast infection symptoms have disappeared.
I am confused as to what these bumps could be. I've always tested negative for HSV 1 & 2 (including my most recent testing on 12/28), and I had the Gardasil HPV vaccine as a teenager, before I became sexually active. I know that Gardasil protects against the cancer-causing strains of HPV, as well as 90% of the wart-causing strains. I suppose this could be warts caused by one of the strains not covered by Gardasil--how soon after exposure would warts appear, if this is the case?
To add even MORE information: my male partner's last relationship lasted ten years, was monogamous, and ended in June, 2015. He had not been screened for STDs in four years, which is why I asked him to be tested in early December 2015 when our relationship was getting more serious.
It started as redness and itching then a horrible red swelling-I went to the STD clinic yesterday absolutely terrified and the Dr assured me it was not warts and not herpes-she said she'll test for herpes just in case but as she was doing the test she said 'this is a spot,if it comes back as herpes i'll be VERY surprised, it really doesn't look like it at all, this is just for your piece of mind'. She seemed very sure I was okay for that. She examined me and did a smear, had a proper look at my vulva and said I was being silly, this is just a spot and not to worry at all.
I stupidly had sex this morning (my boyfriend and I have been together 2 years).
Today it's worse, it's horribly angry looking, red and swollen and sore. I've put on antiseptic cream-I'm relieved it's not an STD but at the same time, what on earth is it-if it's just a spot, it's bacterial-I shave so I guess I could have caused it, hurt my skin, it's in a dodgy area right at the top of my slit so it's enclosed and that area is all warm and enclosed I suppose so it'll heal slower than a spot anywhere else.
What can I do to help it heal faster and stop the infection spreading? I'm so scared :( Anybody else had anything like this?
