STDs Risk Assessment :: Protected Vaginal Sex With An Escort
Apr 23, 2016
2 days ago, I had protected vaginal sex with an escort. She also gave me protected BJ, but she licked my testicles as well which were not covered.
The girl had a lot of "old' bumbles in her back and cheeks as if they were teenage acne marks, but nothing at all down there and nothing at all around her lips. Therefore, I didn't care about them and still kissed her in her back and kissed her in her lips and cheek.
After one hour I felt kind of dizzy and my throat started to soar a little bit. Now, my throat started to hurt me again (very very mild) with a little bit drowsiness.
I'm really worried that I could've gotten something from her
What are my risks of getting any STDs? and what are they?
Thanks in advance

Had unprotected oral and protected sex from an escort, no symptoms apart from a more frequent need to urinate and noticing urine dribble - could be me paying more attention to it. Slight irritation at the end of penis but think is is due to the dribble.
At about the 5/6 day mark had an STI test and all come back negative.
Should I still be worried about this or is the urine dribble most likely caused by something else?

28 days ago I had sex with a female CSW. I'm male. Oral then vaginal then oral again. Used one condom for first oral and the vaginal (which, by the way, was extremely short-lived). A second condom for second oral. Both condoms were on before and after and remained intact. No obvious tears, rips, breakages, etc. Most concerned about the vaginal sex. As I said, it was protected, but I can't stop thinking about "what ifs." Also as I said, the condom was on when I inserted and when I pulled out. I don't think it slipped (I'd have noticed, yes?). And, as I also said, it was intact after.
Oraquick in-home tests were negative at 21 and 24 days post-exposure (if you can call it an exposure). I plan on testing again this week (now that I'm four-weeks down the track).
I understand symptoms are not diagnostic, but I have had a few: white tongue (from about 2 weeks after it), maybe a rash on my face and small parts of my thigh but not sure (from about 3 weeks after it). No fever. No sore throat. Nothing else.
What do you think? Was this a no risk situation? How much weight can I put on these negative test results (even if it wasn't no risk)?

Recently hit a massive down point in my relationship, ended up receiving unprotected oral sex from an escort with protected sex after.
Since then I have been experiencing a feeling of needing to urinate and once I have been to the toilet, it feels like there is still some left.
No discharge or burning, just a slight irritation and sometimes a drop of urine after.
I am awaiting tests back and have got a injection/antibiotic booked tomorrow in the meantime.
Is it likely my anxiety is building this up or how likely is it that I have anything other than NGU?
I am so scared that it is anything serious as I'm now back with my partner and not sure what I would say or do?

i was in a relationship with a guy and we had unprotected sex (vaginal) a few times. when we broke up i found out he was a lot more promiscuous than i initially believed. i was tested for everything 10 weeks after our last unprotected vaginal sex. everything including HIV came back negative. i had however performed oral sex on him without ejaculation one time after last having sex. that would have put me 3 weeks out from that for my HIV test. i don't know if i had a 4th or 3rd generation but i called my dr and she said if i had HIV it would have shown up. i gave her all the details as well. she said i could come back next year for another test if i was still concerned so that made me nervous she had no idea what she was talking about because everything i've seen says 3 months is conclusive with most people showing positive by 6 weeks. i do plan to be tested one more time bc i have severe anxiety over this and its the only thing that will put my mind at rest but until i can get in for another appointment here are my questions:
1. my 10 week negative is a good indicator i did not contract HIV from the unprotected vaginal episodes correct? i know not technically conclusive until 12 weeks but everything i've read says that is HIGHLY unlikely to change
2. when i performed oral on him i had had a tonsillectomy 6 weeks prior. my throat was healed as far as i remember. i do have bleeding gums occasionally. no sores or STDs. does that increase my chances from oral? i know the stance here is no risk, did not know if the previous tonsillectomy would change that.
also i've asked him many times if he was free of STDs mainly HIV and he swears he is clean but i doubt he has been tested anytime soon. i do know he use to give plasma on a regular basis, not sure if he still does that since we are no longer in contact.

I know my question may have been asked a million times before but I want to get a first hand assessment of my potential risk with HIV based from the series of events that acquired during that night. I was firm to believe that oral sex is safe - up until I read some articles on the internet. Some websites say it's low-risk. Some say it is moderate risk. I do not know which claim is more true than the other
So how this is my last sexual encounter went:
- So I met guys
- I did brush my teeth lightly.
- We basically did give and receive oral sex. No anal sex was done .
- One of the two guys did finger me.
- The whole act last around 30 - 40 minutes
- he ejaculated 5-10 minutes after through masturbation. He "unleashed" it in my legs or in my chest.
- About a minute or two, I gargled water
- We had a small talk after the deed. I was kind of hesitant to believe that he was negative although that's what he did told me. Aside from that, he told me that what we did was a low-risk activity.
Now for my questions:
- Let' say he was indeed positive, what are the chances of him passing the virus on this one time incident?
- From what I have read over at the internet, saliva has a capability to deactivate the virus once any fluid comes contact to it. Is this accurate? Does brushing one's teeth lessen this saliva's capability?
- Is pre-ejaculate just as infectious as semen or blood?
- Would brushing my teeth before or after the act really create cuts/bleeds deep enough that some pre-ejaculate may come in contact with my bloodstream?
- What about deep throat oral sex. What are the risks say he had pre-ejaculate if I was doing it to him?
- Let's also assume that he had a soaring viral load, will this affect my chances? Again, some websites argue that the higher the VL, the higher the risk one is exposed to.
- What are your thoughts about fingering. Is this safer than say, oral and anal sex?
- where I live we have Rapid ICT for testing. How conclusive is it on 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks of testing? Should I be tested after 12 weeks for it to be definitely conclusive or 12 weeks is more than enough?
I know that the only way to know my status is to get tested. It was only been six weeks since the act happened and my anxiety has been killing me to death regarding this incident. I do not want to be the first person documented to have contracted the disease through oral sex.

1. I had a HIV test done that came back negative. Not sure which one but I had blood drawn and found out my results around an hour or so. Any clue what gen that is?
2. With that test is it safe to assume anything I did 8 weeks previously to have gotten HIV May not show up but anything 8 weeks and on would be conclusive?
3. My only exposure in the past 8 weeks was unprotected oral, 25 days before the test in the window period, with a woman (both ways) whom I had done this act with multiple times before in the past year. Is this a concern?
4. Do I need to re-test based on this information?

So, 13 days ago I had an unprotected sexual encounter with a family friend. No actual sex but there was genital to genital touching and oral sex going both ways. Since that time I have been a nervous wreck to the point that I'm barely functioning because I have convinced myself I am going to get herpes. I have not had any of the flu like symptoms and no rashes or bumps that are obvious but I am obsessively checking myself multiple times daily. I know I am likely creating most of this anxiety in my head. What ia the likelihood that I was infected and just not showing symptoms yet?

I had unprotected sex with a female of unknown status. (i'm male) it was a one time occurrence. I went in and had an RNA test at 10 days which came back negative and a antibody test at 26 days which came back negative. How confident can I be in those results? It seems that 3 months is the mark but there is some updated news that findings can be given with high confidence earlier than that.

I had a small risk with a high risk woman. There was nothing that happened but a little fingering on the surface level (nothing deep) but my finger had a 2 mm sore/abrasion on it (surface as the type you get when you scrape your knee). The cut had happened about 20 hours before. I immediately stopped when I remember after three seconds.

I regrettably had multiple unprotected possible exposures to HSV-2 with a guy i was seeing at the time, i do not know his status at all and we are not in contact anymore. I have only ever dated 1 guy before him and that was a long term relationship. We were both each others firsts so we were positive we didn't have anything. After we broke up i ended up seeing this new guy. I would confider him promiscuous, he told me he's had 15-20 partners so far. He's 24 and I'm 21. The last time i saw him was at the end of November and I'm really worried that i might have gotten asymptomatic genital herpes from him. I have never had a cold sore and have not observed any signs/symptoms thus far. I never noticed any on him either when i was seeing him.
I also got tested for other STDS and everything was negative and conclusive. I thought i could move on but now I'm so nervous, i don't know what to do and i feel terrible for even having sex with someone in the first place so fast. What are my chances? I wanted to get tested but turns out they don't do type specific testing in Ontario.

I am straight male in my 30's.
Today I messed up and had sex with a sex worker. The sex was 'protected' at all times - we used a condom. HOWEVER, she sucked and licked my testicles and the very base of my shaft. Sorry to get into the details, but perhaps this is important - we had short vaginal and somewhat rough anal sex. No artificial lubricant was used. I didn't inspect the condom in details afterwards, but it seemed OK.
My last shave 'down there' was 2 days ago. Now I notice that my skin is still somewhat irritated (red bumps), although I don't see any obvious cuts. There is the possibility of micro cuts, though...
Needless to say, now when the sane judgment came back to me, I have a few questions/concerns:
1. What is the major STDs I should be worried about now? It is my estimate that it is Syphilis. I am not really worried about HIV (condom didn't break) or Herpes (it is now kind of common). Genital warts - slim chance, there is a 100 strains and only a few cause the warts.
2. Assuming I have caught Syphilis, am I immediately contagious to others, or first I have to reach 1st or 2nd phase of the disease?
3. Is Syphilis contracted when it penetrates into the bloodstream (i.e. there has to be a CUT), or as soon as skin (any skin) touches the lesion. If there is no lesion whatsoever, how contagious is it still?

Got a handjob at asian massage parlor week ago. Concerned specifically about hiv as well as other stds.
My worries lie on possibility of masseuse having a cut on her hand, vaginal fluids or semen from a past customer coming into contact/crossing with my urethra as she performed the handjob. My confusion is that i read that urethra is one of the modes of transmission but when this question has been asked on dr. And hiv forums they say no risk, no need for testing and very low risk of stds. What is the difference between unprotected vaginal/anal and hanjob where the urethra is concerned or any small cuts, nicks, etc. On either participant? Thank you so much for you help in this matter as i eagerly await your expertise. Again specifically if fresh blood from a cut on hand made direct contact with the urethra (top of penis) is there a risk and why? Or why not?

I had a risky encounter with high risk girl 7.7 years ago which looked protected as I wore two condoms and one condom seems to have broke and second one looked intact, since then I didn't had sex, I recently fell in love with one girl and we did a frottage followed by heavy deep kissing and which was then followed by oral sex on her ,
I guess during the process of our deep kissing she probably might have bit my tongue a little and in the process of lovemaking I didn't realised that.
After I performed oral sex I realised..there might be some blood on my tongue which might facilitate HIV infection to her, Although I myself don't know whether I am infected with HIV, but with the assumption I am HIV infected , is it possible she can get HIV infected from these route??...it's been eight months I am avoiding to be intimate with her and been total paranoid about HIV infection for her.
After exactly 22 days post that incident ,she was down with bad sore throat, chills, lost weight a little bit.

I went for a massage at a Mumbai based Massage parlour. She gave me a very non sexual massage except that every now and then kept massaging the outside of my anus as well. Its been two days and I have a swollen lymph node on my perineum and tenderness on both my lower buttocks. The masseuse was fully clothed and I didn't touch her genitals or the other way round except the anal massage as mentioned above. Please advise. Also its v painful and I find difficulty in sitting.

I recently had protected sex with an escort(I am quite sure the condom is not broken). During the process i rimmed her anal for few mins. After couple of days i am having throat infection and slight fever. Could this be because of any STD ? What are the chances of me contacting any STD through this action ? Is it possible that I might have contacted any serious STDs like HIV etc. I am quite sure that she didn't have any rashes , sores or any kind in her anal, she was pretty clean. I don't have nausea , vomiting or stomach ache. Please advise me what i should be doing , i don't want to pass something serious to my family.

Last night I made the epic mistake of hooking up with a sex worker. specifically she performed unprotected oral sex on me for about 10 seconds, I made her finish with a condom on.
there were no obvious sores on her mouth, but now of course I am very concerned about other risks. Do I need to get tested? How concerned should I be?

During one of my sexual encounters, the guy I was with slipped up and stuck his penis in my butt by accident. I ended up becoming infected vaginally with chlamydia and I had tested positive for herpes 1. I don't know if he was the one that infected me, but would I have also gotten it in my butt then as well if he was infected? I took doxycycline for 7 days, 2 times a day and cured myself of chlamydia vaginally. Would that have cured it in my butt as well if I had become infected there?

I'm a 28 y/o heterosexual female. I am confused as to the nature of small, flesh-colored bumps I have near the opening of my vagina and am hoping someone can shed light on what these can potentially be. Firstly, please note that I have made a gynecologist appointment for Friday morning (1/8). I'm sure we're all familiar with the agony of waiting for an appointment, and then waiting some more to receive test results, so I'm hoping that describing the ailment here will help me narrow down the possible causes and relieve some anxiety.
Please bear with me--there are several variables to my situation, including my having the Mirena IUD placed, as well as developing a yeast infection post-placement (common when changing birth control methods, as the disruption in hormone levels affects the pH of the vagina).
Timeline and Facts:
I recently began a monogamous relationship in mid-November, 2015. My male partner and I used condoms in the beginning, but stopped once he was screened for STDs (including HIV and an HSV blood antibody test) and got a clean bill of health. I had been tested in August, 2015 and my results were all negative (my tests included the standard screening, plus an HSV blood antibody test). To date, all of my Pap Smears have been normal.
On 12/27/15, I noticed mild irritation near my vaginal opening, but believed that was due to either 1) frequent intercourse the previous two days, or 2) the beginning of a genital pimple. I've had a genital pimple before, which I learned to recognize by its white head, individual presentation, and rapid disappearance after treatment with a hot compress. When I've developed a genital pimple in the past, it was after either masturbation or intercourse wherein I didn't clean myself thoroughly enough and some remaining fluid clogged my pores. Because I'd been having frequent intercourse 12/25 - 12/26, I thought perhaps I was getting another pimple, and so I treated the area with a hot compress.
On 12/28/15, I visited my gynecologist to have the Mirena IUD placed. Placement, although somewhat painful, went well and fairly quickly. I had some spotting and cramping for three days afterward (to be expected after an IUD placement), but nothing alarming. During the IUD placement appointment, I asked the nurse to draw blood for STD screening, as I hadn't been tested since August and wanted to be sure I was still healthy. I was tested for HIV, HSV 1 & 2 (blood antibody test), Syphilis, and Hepatitis A, B, & C. All results were negative. I was not tested for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, HPV, or Trichomonas because the nurse did not perform a pelvic exam or swab.
My partner and I waited two days after the IUD placement to have sex (12/30), and we were careful not to be aggressive, as an IUD can sometimes be expelled from the uterus. The morning after having sex (12/31), I noticed that my vagina was somewhat sore and inflamed. I believed this to be related to the IUD placement coupled with having sex shortly thereafter. However, the soreness and inflammation continued and grew more intense, and by 1/1 I was also experiencing itchiness on and around my labia. Having had yeast infections before, I used a hand mirror to view my vulva. My labia were red and inflamed and I saw some white discharge. On 1/2 I treated myself at home by drinking fresh lemon juice and eating yogurt with live bacteria cultures. My symptoms improved overnight, and while I was happy to have physical relief, I decided to also treat with a Monistat suppository on 1/4 to be sure that the infection was gone.
On 1/4, while inspecting my vulva again prior to inserting the suppository, I noticed two small, smooth, flesh-colored, slightly raised bumps on my labia minora, immediately outside of my vaginal opening (the vaginal opening itself was still slightly inflamed). The bumps don't appear to have any kind of head on them, aren't open sores, and have no pain, discomfort, or itching associated with them. My previous soreness and itchiness had been located higher on the vulva, between the folds of the labia and closer to the urethra--so I was surprised to find bumps, as I hadn't had any pain or itching near my vaginal opening. Today (1/6), the bumps are still present, even after my yeast infection symptoms have disappeared.
I am confused as to what these bumps could be. I've always tested negative for HSV 1 & 2 (including my most recent testing on 12/28), and I had the Gardasil HPV vaccine as a teenager, before I became sexually active. I know that Gardasil protects against the cancer-causing strains of HPV, as well as 90% of the wart-causing strains. I suppose this could be warts caused by one of the strains not covered by Gardasil--how soon after exposure would warts appear, if this is the case?
To add even MORE information: my male partner's last relationship lasted ten years, was monogamous, and ended in June, 2015. He had not been screened for STDs in four years, which is why I asked him to be tested in early December 2015 when our relationship was getting more serious.

Like many others here, I am in rather deep despair. Although I have a girlfriend, I went to a body-to-body massage parlour. The masseuse rubbed her body over my body, using also her vagina (along my legs, etc.). I fingered her, mostly on the outside, but also briefly on the inside. Although our genitals did not touch (except perhaps incidentally very very briefly), I am very concerned about STDs. What are the risks? How long should I wait before having sex with my girlfriend? There was no oral, no visible sores, often a few seconds of digital penetration, but she certainly touched my penis after having been in contact with my finger that was inside of her (not immediately).
I would be very grateful for any advice/words from experience with this sort of thing. Has anyone here received an STD in this way?
