STD :: Folliculitis Or Herpes -bumps But No Discharge And Itching

I had unprotected sex Saturday during that night I noticed bumps on my pubic hair region on sunday i went to the ER and they said it doesn't look like herpes it looks more like folliculitis they gave me oral antibiotics to take for it . now its monday 5:30 pm notice the pimples in the bumps went away but the bumps are still there..do i have herpes? no discharge no itching on the penis only the pubic hair region.

I discovered these irritating bumps around my anus area that soon developed into tender ulcers.. so I went to the doctor to have them examined and she told me she couldn't really tell if it was herpes being the fact the bumps were scattered and they are each at the base of a hair follicle... so she swabbed them and sent them off for a lab test and I'm currently waiting for my results by the end of this week... I've never experienced anything like this before and the only symptoms I have is itching and I do believe I can feel my lymph nodes in my groin are swollen... has anyone else ever experienced anything like this and what does it sound like to you?

I have been with my current boyfriend now for 4 years. I have never had any symptoms of herpes, not even a cold sore on my mouth. My boyfriend has also been clean. About 6 days ago I noticed a two small bumps on my labia majora right in the hairline then there was another small bump down on my labia minora again in the hairline and on the same side as the one on the upper part of the labia. I of course began freaking out. I've never had a STD scare before and I immediately thought the worst. The bumps were slightly itchy, red, and it looked as though they had a white, almost puss filled, kind of top. I went to the health clinic 2 days later, the soonest I could get in, and the nurse told me it didn't look like any herpes case she had seen before, but she swabbed me to do a culture just in case. I'm still waiting for the results and the waiting is driving me insane. I've read every article I can find on herpes and how I could possibly have contracted it since both me and my boyfriend have been faithful to each other, and before I was with him I was with the same man for 5 years who I know was clean. I know it is possible for the disease to lay dormant for years, but still it just seems odd that it would wait this long to appear and my current boyfriend has not had any bumps or cold sores since we’ve been together.
I stumbled upon the condition folliculitis and I’m wondering if it could possibly be that. I do shave down there regularly. I’ve had razor burn before but nothing like this. Currently the two bumps that were on my labia majora have turned into a hard lump underneath the skin and the one on my labia minora has also turned into a lump under the skin. I’ve never had a cyst or boils before so I’m not really sure what I’m looking at. There is no puss coming out of anything, but they are painful when irritated. I am able to go without underpants once I am home, but during the day I have been wearing cotton underwear and I sit at a desk. I think this irritates the one on my labia majora because of where it is located so it is normally sore.
I have no other symptoms of herpes. No burning urination, swollen lymph nodes, or any sickness. I’m also not in a great deal of pain or anything like that. I’m just really unsure of what is going on and the symptoms of both herpes and folliculitis sound so similar. Folliculitis makes more sense to me, but then again that’s because I really don’t want to have herpes. There is one other issue I’m having that I can’t find online at all. It’s kind of hard to explain, but there is a white area in the fold of my skin that is above my clitoris. It’s not puss and it doesn’t hurt. I cannot find any pictures or descriptions of this online. I’m not sure if it could be caused from the large hard lump that is near it on my labia majora or not.
I’m not able to find out my results for at least another 4 days and I’m going to make a appointment with my gyno for next week as well, but I’m looking for any opinions or advice as I’m currently driving myself crazy with wondering and researching.

About a week ago I had sex with some random woman. We did use protection and it didn't break (I checked). A little less than 24 hours later I noticed red bumps all on my pubic hair. Some have white heads... They don't hurt or even itch that bad. I have no other symptoms.. But a week later it seems to spreading a little to the other side... Is that even possible die Folliculitis? Or could it just be some of the hair follicles weren't as irritated and didn't show up for like 4 days... I went to the doctor and they put me on dicloxacillin and I've been using bacitracin. But don't really see results... Could a std show up that quickly and with no other symptoms?

I was naked, she was in active wear shorts. We grinded a lot and then she told me she has herpes. The next day I go training in sweat pants without underwear and thought I started to chafe. It's been 2 weeks and the skin on my scrotum and just above my pelvis seems dry, a little irritated, reddish. No bumps but I get tingles at times, pinching and sometimes a testicle with throb for a second. It doesn't look bad at all but it feels kinda crappy and the timing couldn't be worse. Today I noticed that the smell from my scrotum was kind of sour, dunno if it's from the skin being dry and irritated.

So my husband and I have been separated a few months but had a sexual encounter recently. I know he and I both were HSV-2 negative, but he has HSV-1 rarely breaks out. I noticed last night a sharp pinch in one spot at the top of the vulva, above the good of the clitoris in the area that has hair growth. It doesn't itch, just the pinching feeling that pulsates with a VERY faint tingling that was in my whole lower body and throbbing, dull pain accompanying it. I have fordyce spots that are small on the inner parts of the labor minora and larger subcutaneous "bumps" (I'm guessing follicles or fordyce) that I have on both labias that I have had since I was very little. I also shave and we had sex after I'd shaved so, as usual, I got a LOT of ingrown hairs which are painful when popping or digging out. I noticed the area was pin pointed to one spot so I had to search and at one point I thought I had it but turned out I was squeezing the wrong area/small bump. Then when I found the area, I squeezed it and then plucked hairs I though were associated with the pain. It was mainly red-looking but no swelling came about until after squeezing. This morning the pain was still there but then it slowly went away by noon. I then checked it out an it was raw from the plucking and squeezing, but I also had 1 small bump in both areas I had squeezed. I squeezed it again because the bump (only) was a little tender and clear puss/blood came out and then the skin was easily pulled off from the bump. It now feels better and doesn't hurt really, even when I was trying to check if I got all the hair in it with tweezers. I asked my "husband" if he'd been with anyone since we split and come to find out he's been with many women and so now I am worried that I may have contracted HSV-2. We mainly just performed oral and fingered/rubbed me and we only had sex for less than a minute, which he insisted on wearing his boxers durring. I guess my questions are:
1. How likely would it be to contract it if he was either about to break out or was healing (I'm assuming since he didn't want to remove boxers and u couldn't see pubic area)?
2. Do the symptoms I am having sound like herpes? (I have no swollen lymph nodes, aching, nausea, appetite loss, etc.)
3. If I performed oral and (lets say/hope) the infected area wasn't anywhere that I touched, how likely could I get oral HSV-2?
4. Are herpes blisters a white-colored blister or are they like a TB type test bubble, clear and very noticeable?

I was shaving one day with a razor, then two days later i noticed a couple of bumps by my grown. two of them had a white head and i popped them.. just once though. it's kind of crusty... i don't know why, maybe because i tan and my skin is dry? but i haven't been sexually active, and have had one parent the last year, that i know doesn't have anything...they do not itch, hurt, burn, or anything... i did have some vaginal discharge but it was white and clear milky kind of, just leak out of me for a second or so.. i don't get burning sensations when i pee or anything. but sometimes i do get itchy but not only on my vagina... when i get an itch down there i just itch it for a second and get itchy somewhere else like my back or something.

I was a virgin & I had unprotected sex it was hurting & stinging after the intercourse I guess due to the fact of my hole ripping. Day after I lost it my vagina started itching & it led on for about a week, I examined myself down there with a mirror and I see tiny lil bumps on my opening. They don't burn they just itch, I told my grandma & aunt my situation & they told me it could be yeast. When I went to use the restroom I saw blood on the tissue when I wiped, I tried monistat but my period came the following night. My period started may 1 - may 7, after it ended I still had itching. The itching did calm down a quite bit but the lil bumps are still here, they don't burn just itch. They don't look red just blends in with my vagina color, but it's noticeable when I put a flashing on it. My discharge doesn't stink, I guess it had a tint sort of like an off white maybe because my period ended & that happened 5 days after my period. I use to smell it through my clothes as well, but I'm not for sure either because that only happens when I'm in a rush & I pick the nearest panties that's on the floor & thats dirty. -_-_- so yeah I think that causes the smell. Now the tint is gone & it's white. But the little bumps are still here, like i said no BURNING, NO REDDISH COLORS, But it does ITCH. Help me, I know good as well you can't catch as STD a day after loosing virginity.

I haven't had a period in nearly 3 years so am obviously well into the menopause. For the past few months I have been coming out in itchy spots that are gradually spreading over my body. Some are like blisters, some are small bumps and some are in red patches. All are itchy and driving me crackers and are really bad at night when I get hotter. My doctor is very non-committal and says it's allergy or stress or an infection. I have the suspicion it's those old hormones running riot. Has anyone else got this problem? it may not relieve the symptoms but it will hope to know that it's another menopause "thing" to deal with.

It all started 3 weeks ago, I went to get my IUD changed (this is my 3rd, all changed at the time they were supposed to be) I didn't have any problems with this one either. I went camping 2 weeks later, still no problems, however it was hot out, so I was sweating a lot. I woke up one morning and I had a burning sensation when I went to pee. I thought maybe it was a uti, I had a bladder infection once before. Anyway it was still hurting two days later so I went to women's health services. (They also did my IUD). So the dr said I have herpes. The thing is, I have been with my husband for 10 years, neither of us have cheated, I have never had an outbreak before. I didn't have a fever or flu symptoms, I had no other symptoms either, I can't tell if I have bumps down there. I don't understand how this could happen.

I was out shopping last Thursday evening. When I made it home I hopped in the shower. Before this I felt absolutely nothing, but when I wash my scrotum it itched like crazy which made me scratch like crazy. When I gout out and dried off, the area I had scratched was raw. I looked down and it was a little red but no bumps, blisters or anything. When I put my finger on area later it burned a little, but I assumed that was because I broke the skin by scratching in the shower. It made a long scab the next morning and when I got in the shower the scab came off, which made it a little sore. From itching in the shower Thurs night to Sunday, everything had cleared up. My question is does this sound like herpes?

For the last two months now, I have had red pimple like bumps all over my thighs. (Just like pimples on a face, are spread out) They are red, about the size of a pimple, and have white heads. The same puss in pimples comes out but they are harder to pop. About a month ago I got them, popped them, and they all seemed to clear up. Now their back, they are very itchy and painful. There's probably around ten on each thigh, after they pop they bleed and then scab over. I heard other people's questions that it sounds similar too, but it also sounds like herpes. I always pop them and touch the puss, but it never spreads like herpes does. (At least not yet.) herpes or no?! Please help I am 19 year old male and this really worries me!!!!! If it's herpes j have no clue what I am gonna do as I am a first responder!

I was diagnosed with HSV2 about a month ago, during which I had my first classic outbreak. I got it from my boyfriend, who did not know he had it at the time. I was tested negative for HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis at the time I was diagnosed. During my primary outbreak, I must have somehow touched the sores or the fluid and in the same week one large blister appeared on both my left wrist and left leg at the same time. I was put on Valtrex for 10 days and the genital region cleared up pretty quickly, but the ones on my wrist and leg took longer and I don't think they ever fully healed because there was always a red spot in those areas.
This past Saturday it came back but only on my wrist and my leg, not in the genital area. It started as just itching then by Sunday there was an appearance of a cluster of blisters in each area, where the first time there was only one in each spot. I went for a follow up appointment to my gynecologist two days later and showed him the blisters. But he was not very helpful; he said he only deals with the genital region and I had to see an infectious disease doctor. He gave me a permanent Valtrex prescription to take daily and I've been on it for 4 days so far and did the swab test on my wrist to confirm it was herpes. I could not get an appointment with the ID doc for another two weeks, and Tuesday night the spot on my leg was huge and red and swollen with cellulitis all over the area. It is on my lower calf close to my ankle, but I'd say the entire surface area that is infected is about the size of my fist. I went to the ER and they tried to tell me it was a staph infection despite hearing my story and put me on an antibiotic without answering any of my herpes related questions. It has been 4 days since I'm on Valtrex again and I've kept the area bandaged at all times and worn pants and long sleeve shirts.
Sorry for all the background, but I thought it would be helpful info to best answer the questions I have. I am concerned that for the rest of my life I'm just going to be a walking contagion that can spread the virus to everyone without knowing it, since HSV2 spreads frequently asymptomatically. I know that Valtrex reduces the number of outbreaks I'm going to have, but I'm more concerned with the areas on the exposed parts of my body and want to know exactly which parts are contagious to others and if I'll be able to tell or I will have to keep both areas covered the rest of my life.
My appointment with the ID doc isn't for another two weeks, and I cannot wait that long to have these questions answered because I'm getting sick over this.
These are my questions (please only answer if you've experienced this yourself or you are an MD, I know it's a unique case):
1. Will the areas on my wrist and leg always be a site for a breakout, and will these areas always have the potential to be shed asymptomatically?
2. What part of the outbreak is actually contagious? Is it anywhere that is red, or is it mainly just the blister itself? Will bandaging only the blistered area during an outbreak protect the virus from spreading to others or can it spread from any part that is red?
3. I've read that once it is in an infected area, the virus can spread to other parts close by on that same area, so is there a potential that the next outbreak will be further spread out on my arm, thus giving my whole arm and leg potential to shed the virus?
4. Will it always break out in those spots? I find it curious that this second outbreak (or continuation of a primary outbreak) only appeared in those spots and not the genital region.
5. I know women with HSV 2 can still have babies, but I'm concerned that if I have it on my wrist that I will never be able to hold a newborn baby. I know obviously if I have visible sores that I should avoid a baby at all costs, but what about when there is nothing there and it sheds without me knowing?
6. I'm concerned about it spreading to other parts of my body. I know auto inoculation is rare after the first outbreak, but my wrist is too close to my face for me to be comfortable.
7. What about shaving my legs? I know when there is an outbreak I should avoid the area completely, but when there is nothing there can I still shave over the area or will that spread the virus to other parts of my leg?
8. Manicures/pedicures used to be a huge part of my life. I would never want to infect anyone with this disease. Would it be safe to tell them to only touch my hands and my toes, or is this too risky?
9. My gyno placed me on a permanent Valtrex prescription. Is there a risk associated with becoming too dependent on antiviral meds, or a chance that the disease will become resistant to the medicine? I've also read that being on permanent antivirals can cause the virus to mutate and cause different strains.
I know this will probably take anyone forever to read, but I had to get this all out because these questions have been running through my mind for days and no doctor I've talked to so far has been able to answer them.

I am 16 years old and about 3 or so years ago i noticed what seemed to be a lump on my left breast that is a slightly different color than my skin. I told my mom and we went to the doctor to get it checked out...they did an ultrasound on it and found nothing and said it was most likely a cyst and that a lot of women get these. For the next few years i just let it go...but about a year ago i noticed that my left breast was noticeably smaller than my right breast......I started feeling self-conscious about it and I felt like it kept getting worse over the months....people started noticing and saying stuff about it or making fun of me and its been really hard to deal with....about 3 or 4 months ago the nipple also on my LEFT breast became inverted...this freaked me out so i told my mom and we made another doctor app......when we went this time they did another ultrasound (since Im still too young for a mammogram) and they found nothing that time either....that calmed me down a bit cause i thought for sure I had breast cancer....they said to keep an eye on the lump, invertedness, the size of the breast etc.....
and now RECENTLY like in the past 2 months maybe....I've been having discharge out of...again..the LEFT breast..its only a little bit and its like white or cream colored. I have absolutely NO idea what's going on with my left breast but its extremely embarrassing, scary and just inconvenient...if anyone knows any natural or cheap cures to any of my symptoms or knows what is going on or what it is...

Alright so I went to the dr two weeks previous to having sex with a new partner and I was clean. I had pretty rough sex with this new partner a week ago and the lubrication wasn't very effective it was pretty painful. then developed a chest cold a few days later which I thought was normal because everyone in my family had been sick at the time. Well a day or two ago (a week after intercourse)I noticed bumps near my vagina. Now I shave so I figured it to be razor bumps. But I also noticed something that looked like a tear at the entrance to my vagina and I assumed it to be from the rough intercourse. At any rate it's probably too soon to tell but there's only three small red bumps and no head to them. They aren't painful to touch but very itchy. The tear is both itchy and slightly painful. I'm headed to the doctor in the next few days because I'm simply freaking out, but if anyone could take a look and give me some advice for ease of mind that would be great.

The week before Easter I starting having extreme burning, itching, discharge, odor which increased after sex. Went to the Dr found out I had BV. Took the full prescription of oral meds felt relieved for short time and it came back. Went back to Dr said I showed a trace of the BV and prescribed intervaginal meds which I took along with Rephresh probiotic for about a month. In the last week the burning and itching has returned but my Dr is saying I test neg for BV, yeast, along with a half dz std's that I requested her test for. At this point my Dr is saying it could be an allergic reaction? I haven't changed products.
