Retroverted Uterus With Rectal Pain
Apr 26, 2015
I found out - during a transvaginal ultrasound - that my uterus is retroverted. Another doctor had felt my uterus through my rectum (have had problems with rectal pain) and thought that my uterus possibly was enlarged. This was not the case, but it is retroverted. Has anyone had problems with that? Mainly, I'm thinking problems related to the uterus affecting other organs, such as the rectum.

I had a scan in September last year and I had a retroverted uterus. Does it sound right that another scan I had in April showed I had a anteverted uterus. Then I just had another scan done in June and I now have a retroverted uterus again. Does this sound normal. I might add that I had cysts removed early in January of this year. Could the doctors have fixed my uterus and made in anteverted and then it went back to retroverted?

My 16 year old daughter still hasn't got her periods. At first the DR's kept telling me she was delayed because she has crohn's disease but they finally agreed to do further testing.
Yesterday she went for an ultrasound to check her ovaries but they couldn't find a uterus. He told me not to panic as sometimes the uterus is retroverted and they can't see it on the ultrasound. Shes to have an MRI soon.
I'm just wondering if she has a retroverted uterus, wouldn't they be able to see some of it on the ultrasound?

I have recently been told by my partner, that he believes I have a 'introverted vagina" which after some research I think he means Retroverted uterus, and that sex doesn't feel right for him. He said he had the same problem with a previous partner. I have done some research and can't find any information relating to a retroverted uterus changing the sexual sensation for the male. I am wanting top know if having retroverted uterus would in fact affect how sex would feel for him? He said it feels as though he can't "get inside me" properly, but yet it isn't 'loose', and he has no trouble reaching orgasm. I am really confused and a little hurt to find this out after 2 years, and would really like some advice as to what may be going on please.

Recently had an ultrasound for unusual pelvic pain. I learned from the doctor I have a retroverted (backward, as they stated) uterus. I've tried to research this online but there's just so many different opinions on this topic. I know it only occurs in 20% of women. I've heard it can affect getting pregnant and labor complications. And, from experience, I know it's painful. Anyone out there been diagnosed with this?
If so, what symptoms/complications do you have associated with it? Are there things I can do to relieve the pain myself caused by it without pain medications?

I wondered if anyone has had issues with rectal bleeding a few years after major anorectal and abdominal surgery to repair a rectal prolapse.

I am going to the doctor in a week but I wanted some possible ideas of what it could be on here.
I am a 19 year old girl, I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. STD free. I am on the birth control Implanon. But its gone now. We have sex about every other day. He is bigger than the previous guys I've been with.
The last two weeks have been a bit of an issue. Sex feels fine, but right after we're done I have this pretty bad pain in my lower abdomen, where my uterus and cervix is. It just feels exactly like very bad period cramps. I have no other symptoms. I am supposed to be getting my period in about a week. The only change I can think of is he has been lasting longer lately, to where he's inside of me for 45 minutes straight. The pain only lasts for about 10 minutes after we have sex.
Is it possible he is being too rough and too long in me which is causing pain? I am a petite girl. Or is it something else? Sorry, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac. Could it be an infection?

Since last 01 year, I am suffering from acute pain around the vagina. MRI explained that Fibroid over uterus, sigmoid colon and uterus are cohesive with each other. Doctors have different opinion. Help me to diagnose the problem and find out the actual reason of pain.

I have a tilted uterus. Whenever I have an internal examination or pelvic ultrasound done with the probe I'll feel pain to the right side of the vagina. Does anyone know if it can be caused by the tilted uterus? Can't be my ovary it was removed years ago.

I am 23 yrs old and i have this problem that i have a white discharge from my vagina.
sometimes the quantity is less and sometimes more and sometimes doesnt happen. sometime back i got white thick discharge which was watery but it got stretched. i was like a chewing gum which i could take out by pulling off my vagina. after it dried on panty, showed as light yellowish lump or so. it also came out after bowel movement or even pee.. the quantity got lesser on its own , then i had my xams and that time it again started but was not the type i told, it was just simple liquid which when dried got into flakes.
after that for sometime it almost stopped except for after orgasm.
currently its like usual discharge but in a lesser quantity only.( also i got more red lumps like small mass during my period flow)
i dont know and worried regarding this. is it normal?
ALSO The second thing is that when i get aroused the vagina gets wet but now it pains while getting wet naturally unlike before.

For a couple months now I've been feeling this pressure in my rectum. No blood but sometimes an itchy or uncomfortable sensation happens at my rectum. This all happened after a time of extreme stress if that matters. But last month I wasn't passing stool easily and it felt weird but when I had a bowel moment there was still a bit of pressure in my rectum! I didn't feel anything protruding from my anus...just like tissue pushing out when there was no more poop. Today as I sat on the toilet only a small amount of poop came out but it felt like there was more so I felt down there and it was like little lump on the outside of my rectum and tissue pushing through! I'm so scared I've never had hemorrhoids before I can't take this pressure/pushing out feeling on my anus!!

I have had a rectal fistula diagnosed via colonoscopy. I have zero problems with it and would not have known I had it. From the operative report:
"midline anal fistula which was superficial with minimal amount of muscle involved within the fistula".
The surgeon said it should be fixed.
Why can't I just leave it alone? Do these ever go away on their own?

I am a 23 year old male.
I've been having periodic rectal bleeding for some time now, and I haven't gone to a doctor because I can't muster the courage to do so (I'm just too ashamed to present this problem to my doctor and family), and the amount of blood is small enough for me to be calm about it and my overall health is good.
So I decided to ask a question here before I go to a MD. Also, I informed myself on this issue from various sources on the Internet.
I first experienced rectal bleeding back in the summer of 2013. I was shocked initially, but then I regained my calmness, and on the next day there was no blood in my stool. Then I had another bloody stool a month after that, then it went away after 2-3 days.
So for 2 years, the rectal bleeding is periodically appearing then fading away. Each time the rectal bleeding occurs a few seconds after I pass the stool. So when I pass the stool, the feces are perfectly normal, not mixed in with blood or looking tarry. The way I understand it, that when I pass the stool, it somehow manages to hurt my anal area and causes a small wound, which explains why several drops of blood fall on the toilet several seconds after the stool passes and goes into the toilet bowl.
After doing some research online, I (in my humble opinion) suspect that I have hemorrhoids. Each time I experience rectal bleeding, it's only a small amount. 2-4 drops of blood, rarely more, unless in cases when I pass a hard stool. Sometimes I experience minor anal pain, which fades away in a few hours.
I don't match the symptoms of colon cancer, and if you leave out the rectal bleeding, my health is great. So it was something serious, I'd be in real trouble by now, right?
So right now, I have normal stools for 1-2 weeks, then I have one bloody stool for 1-2 days, then again followed by 1-2 weeks of normal stools. It's been like this for nearly one year out of the 2 years.
Also, I am an athlete, and I already eat a green vegetable with almost every meal - a cucumber, a piece of lettuce, cabbage, etc.
What can you tell me based on what I've told you? Have I took a serious risk to my health by ignoring this issue for so long?
Also, I am thinking of finally going to my doctor, but I wanted to ask online first. What should I expect of my doctors visit? What kinds of questions? What kinds of exams? Treatment options?
I understand that what I'm doing is really foolish, but the shame of going to the doctor and explaining this issue to my family greatly outweighs the fear I have of this issue. I hope you understand.

I was constipated for 2-3 days and i started to have rectal prolapse for like a week and the first day i got it it hurted really bad that i couldn't really move a lot i would need to move very slowly i went to the hospital and the doctor said eat more fiber and drink plenty of water and when it falls back down just push it up so then i did. After a few days like right now it doesn't really hurt as much much it bleeds (not dark blood but like light blood) now when i push it back up gently it does go back up but when i move my finger it slides back down (btw i could move a lot faster now) my question is how will it heal itself?

I'm a 19 year old male and I've suffered from constipation for as long as I can remember. I never really bothered to do anything about it because it never really affected me to a degree that I couldn't put up with it. Although, for a while now it's becoming an issue because every time I go to the bathroom I end up with a rectal prolapse which sometimes goes back in by itself, but sometimes I have to put it back myself. It's not painful, but I don't want this to be a problem for me anymore and I definitely don't want this problem getting worse.
I have read that surgery is used to fix the issue, but I was wondering if there were any non-surgery alternatives? Also, if I do have to have the surgery, would this prevent me from being able to receive anal sex in the future?

I had sex with my husband and he penetrated me through my anus and after this caused a rectal prolapse for now 2 1/2 years.
What can be the best treatment or medicine for it to go back to its normal position?
Bare in mind its soft and enlarged towards the entrance of my vagina. Please kindly help me, its too much for me.
Have not yet started any medication but would inquire and answers to it is operation but some say there is medicine for it without operation.
If its there tell me the name and the dosage if applicable. This is from August 2012 to date.
