Can someone clarify this for me if possible? I am hoping to get the correct information about reiki - I am aware that it is channeling of some kind. Is it Chi or Qui channeling? It would be great if you could clarify this, because I am looking into getting some treatments at the moment and would like to be prepared well.

She even gave me the number of someone who is a reiki master. It seems quite expensive but I am willing to give it a try. So is reiki meant to be used complementary?
View 1 RepliesGot 3" red circle on Father's Day, Sunday, June 16, 2013. The circle got darker each day, and I was feeling nauseous and tried. On Wed, June 19 the bulls-eye appeared, went to Health Stop clinic.
Diagnose me with Lyme Disease.
Put me on antibiotic, Doxycycline, for 21 days, 4 days later, Saturday night, June 22, I can call my cat, my left side of my face is paralyzed, diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. My eye was blood shot and hurt. The eye drops and gel has helped a lot. I had to tape my eye shut at night.
When I finished the 21 days of Doxy, for the Lyme, I no longer have Flu-like symptoms, of fever, chills, nausea, neck pain, or feeling fatigue.
It's been 7 weeks that I have had Bells Palsy and it is getting better, I can now call my cat (kissy, kissy), I dont have to hold my cheek to pronounce b's and p's any longer. I no longer have to tape my eye shut at night, but I still cannot smile. People are telling I look better. I got Bell's on June 22, I was hoping that it would only last for 2 weeks, now I'm hoping that I will have my face and smile back in 2 months (August 22nd. I have not been taking anything for Bell's, my doctor offered a steroid (Prednisone), but I did not want to take a steroid.
Anyone else get Bell's as a result of Lyme?
How long did the Bell's take to go away?
Did any of the treatments you used for the Bell's work?
I'm thinking of trying Acupuncture (doctor not supportive), I've had 2 Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy sessions (I think they helped, but not sure).
I have Plantar Fasciitis for a month. I have tried many methods including anti-inflammatory medicine and plaster, soak in hot water [which makes it worst], etc..... I don't believe in western medication as anti-inflammatory will merely stop you from feeling the pain temporary and steroid injection has side effects.
I believe the below will help:-
1) No running or high impact exercise
2) Taking homeopathy medicine
3) Reduce weight [as I am overweight]
4) Have correct posture in standing and walking
5) Wear special shoes for heel pain or insert heel pain relief sole into my working shoes
6) Go swimming which is a good exercise for PF
I believe the above will speed up my recovery ......
Lastly, have faith in myself!
I'm 34 and I constantly worry about irrelevant things. Sometimes I feel like I am losing control, I don't know how to control myself. I have been to a doctor and he told me that I probably have anxiety. Are there some methods that can relieve me from anxiety?
View 2 RepliesI was put on antibiotics and steroids for an infection, but now I'm dealing with what I assume is a rather large hemorrhoid. My anus is very swollen and tender, but there is no itching or bleeding. I got some OTC cream but it's not helping...same with a warm bath and using wipes instead of tissue. I would feel silly going to the doctor for this, especially because I don't have a trusted GP, and my "lady" doctor says it's not their problem. Can you even have a hemorrhoid without itching? The pain is unbelievable, and comparable to the level of pain associated with my c sections. So what should I do? And do you have anything that works for you? Natural methods preferred.

anyways I haven't really been doing them today and yesterday to give my skin a break, today I went to watch a show, it was 1 hour long, after it was done I went to the bathroom and on my ridged band was a small reddish/blackish spot. note before this show I had a extreme erection and of course I didn't do anything about it and had it for around half of the show, the spot has absolutely no pain or soreness or anything similar, could this be trapped blood? its not right on the ridged band I will say right under it. or what else could this be? (Not I am 14, I am not sexualy active)
Besides 2 hours of working out each day, does anyone know of some natural methods to help with stubborn weight? I have an underactive thyroid And unless I work out like crazy its hard for me to lose weight.
