I fell at work almost three months ago and hit my right upper arm towards the back, near my armpit ( on a trash can.. Lol ) I had an immediate shock and couldn't feel my arm for about 2 minutes. It still hurts, the immediate coloring was a dark purple. It hasn't started to fade at all- now it's a dark brown and still hurts. Same size. I don't have any blood disorders that I know of.

View 1 RepliesSo it all started roughly 4 weeks ago where suddenly one day I was getting really bad stomach cramps, bloating, a lot of gas especially after eating (my stomach would literally rumble all the time, eating or not eating), had very little appetite. Went to the doctors a few days later and they said I had a stomach infection, I wasn't having diarrhea or vomiting at the time.
I started to worry a lot during the next week or so as I suffer from pretty bad anxiety and the symptoms weren't changing at all. I lost about a stone of weight in a week and a half which I assume was down to not eating (I could only manage a few bananas a day)
About a week later my stomach cramps seemed to stop and a pain developed just under my right set of ribs, which seemed to get worse and worse as the days went by. I started to get really loose BMs of a weird green dark orange colour which seemed to reduce the pain and would find myself going 3+ times a day and not feel empty after the first. I find myself needing to urinate a lot more frequently too, maybe cause I'm drinking a load of water?
In my stools are these weird black dry bits of varying length (they were purple today but I'm not sure if that was kidney beans I ate last night) They are dry and kinda look like the bits of popcorn shell that come off the corns before you put them in the microwave, but not as hard if that makes sense?
I went to the doctors a few more times and got shrugged off saying it was all down to my anxiety which was causing the issues?
Finally I got to see a good doctor who gave me a blood test which came back with nothing and said I had IBS which was developed as a post-infection mixed with my anxiety levels. I kept asking if any other tests were required and he kept saying there is no point.
Now I usually have a constant pain under my right ribcage, which comes and goes through the day, usually worse after eating, sometimes under my left ribcage is a feint pain too and sometimes it'll rise into upper abdomen.
So what the hell is going on here? Sorry for the massive essay. I'm just really worried about these black bits in my stool, are they blood?!
I have a lump about 1 inch in diameter and it is not very big i found it this morning when i woke up. It is under my skin. View 1 RepliesI had unprotected sex this January 2014. I got tested in Kuwait for I think 25 days after exposure and hit negative. All these months, I never had any symptoms of ARS until last week (last days of October) which is a swollen lymph node located at the armpit. It is very small and cannot be seen by naked eye, but can be felt by touching. Its kind of painful but not those kinds that can make me a human shout ouch, and is located right of the pit considering you are looking in the right arm.
Here's the detailed info:
1. Unprotected sex for just a few thrusts for i think a couple of mins.
2. The lady had a rash on her breast, which she didn't want me to see, but she claimed that it was caused by her pregnancy (the baby died).
3. Had a non-painful pimple at my scalp.
4. Was growing in weights rather than losing it, which is indicated by ARS.
My question is just as simple as this doc. What kind of tests are performed in Middle East countries, especially in Kuwait ? I heard that antibody tests are conclusive at 25 days. Can I trust the result which is negative? I cannot do a test again here because if I hit the plus mark, I'll be deported and get unemployed. I'm really bothered by this node.
And doc, if you have HIV and got swollen nodes symptoms, does it include the neck, armpits and groins in one hit? And is it identical to each sides? For example, a swollen node in the right pit will show a swollen node also in the left.
Please doc. I'm begging for your answers and I will wait. Please doc. Help me. I have still a family to feed. If only I can turn the hands of time back.
I am a 22 year old female. Since November I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Under my jaw is quite puffy. My doctor keeps saying oh it's a virus.No..it isn't and antibiotics did not clear it up either. And what is more worrisome now is for over a month near slash under my left armpit is a swollen lump and it is very tender. It is soft which is good..but still..what could be causing these?
View 3 RepliesDoes anyone else experience lymph node pains with their sinus problems? The weird and scary pain I have just experienced is pain under my sternum and under my armpit lymph nodes. Thick and I mean thick clear mucus in my left nostril only. Had an MRI on my neck. And head. Only problem it said was my left cheek was filled with mucus. I had a tooth extracted after a botched root canal treatment. In December 2015 My cheek swelled up real bad and I had to Go to the E.R. To have my gum lanced to rid me of the poison. That was 3 and a 1/2 months ago. My symptoms (mucus) have been getting worse. I called my doctor(gp) and he gave me 500 mg. amoxicillin. Relieved me of my symptoms and chest pain for one day. This a.m. The pain is back. But it comes and goes! I need some help with this please. The headaches and neck pains suck. I'm not living right now I'm just existing.
View 1 RepliesI have this strange bruise on my arm. It first looked like a spot then got bigger. I think my shirts must have scratched it open but it won't heal properly or disappear. I also have a general itch feeling on my body with quite a lot of spots (which i normally don't get). First I thought it might be bed bugs but my GP (and some other doctors I asked) said it doesn't look like it. I got an appointment with a NHS dermatologist in about a month but I am really considering going to a private one as I don't wanna wait for that long. What do you guys think?

I have consulted podiatrists and orthopedic doctors and their advice for treatment is conflicting, but generally of the conclusion that there is no treatment, nor any idea how long it will take to heal. I am still limping and in strong pain all day long every day. One doc says to stay off the foot. One says to exercise mildly. One says to do PT exercises. One says to immobilize in a pneumatic walking boot, one says to use an ankle brace. all have been unsuccessful. Has anyone recovered from a bone bruise? If so, did you use alternative medicine like Chinese herb soaks?

Well over a decade I have masturbated about 1-3 times per day, by gripping my penis with my hand and moving it (and therefore the skin of my penis) up and down. About a month ago, a small dark area appeared on my penis, above the circumcision line (i.e. between the circumcision line and the glans). I think it's roughly where my thumb has generally rested when masturbating.
For a while I continued masturbating as usual, but in the last couple of weeks I've slowed down to once every two to four days, and tried using methods that I think might involve less damage to the skin of my penis. I read recently that circumcised males are supposed to use lubricant when masturbating, but I've been too shy to buy it at the chemist's.

Prior to my op I would have occasional constant pain in gb/liver area this could last days at a time and was different from an attack as I could still carry on my daily tasks but always aware of this gnawing bruise like pain. I assumed this pain would go after op I'm thankful I no longer have those awful attacks but this pain still comes tho not as often as before.
Does anyone have the same? Should I be worried? Or is it just something I need to put up with? I had liver function and renal bloods done recently and all were normal.
I've also since December started to have burning stomach pain in upper abdomen but that probably isn't connected just thought I'd mention in case someone has had similar since removing gallbladder.

This whole day I've had really light pain and discomfort on my right ovary, I press down and it hurts a little, there is a very light bruise the color of my skin but just a bit darker. I'm expecting to have my period on the 23rd. I am 18 years old and sexually active. I also have hyperthyroid disease and don't really take my medication. I started bleeding a little over a day ago but it was a very faint light brown/pink color. I'm afraid it could be implantation bleeding but I could also be over thinking or just paranoid. Some months I don't get my period at all, last time I got my period was on the 25th of July. Could this be an ovarian cyst or a sign of pregnancy? Or just cramping before I get my period? I was thinking about going to the doctor but the pain isn't severe or that bad to actually go.
