View 4 RepliesI am looking for input as far as the Implanon birth control implant. I have read pages upon pages about this and how it works. However, I'd like to hear a few personal experiences if possible. My insurance covers 100% of the cost, so that is not an issue.
A little about me: I'm going to be 24 in a few short days. My fiance' and I do not have any interest in having children in the next five to eight years. We have a number of long-term goals, and are just not ready for a child any time in the near future.
Thanks in advance!
I had my iud removed and I switched to a new birth control the depo shot. I had one period the day I got the shot and it's been a month and two weeks since I got the shot and no period still. Am I not getting it because of the shot? It's a new birth control for me and I read about it but when I had the iud I got my period so i'm just confused and concerned I'm not getting it.

View 3 RepliesI'll be 22 weeks tomorrow and I don't know what to expect when it comes to labor besides pain. Lol I'm a ftm & I really want to try to go natural..I know I'm probably just saying that now because I've never experienced such pain, but the way I think of it is...our bodies are meant for labor if women back then could do it without medication why can't I.? The only way I'll do it natural if it's a water birth. I read into it and like what I've read so far. Any mother's out there experienced water births or just go natural period ?? I would love to hear your experience. Or any mother's looking into it.?

View 13 RepliesI'm almost 27 weeks & thinking about what kind of labour I'm wanting. Has anybody given birth in a birth pool? I was wondering what would be best... Either a water birth or active birth where I can move around? With my first daughter I was stuck to the bed with an epidural.. I've heard it's also harder to give birth lying on your back? I just don't know what to do..I don't want to get to the hopsital & a birth pool not be available.
View 1 RepliesAnyone else planning on having a water birth?
View 9 RepliesIs anyone considering having a water birth or has had one? I always said I wanted one but to actually be pregnant I don't know now. Plus my financial situation isn't what I thought it would be and now I'm using medicaid. Is it costly? What made you do it or makes you want to do it?

View 2 RepliesI am not overly concerned about the length and girth of my penis, but I have always had a curve that bends to the left, and have always been a self-conscious about it. I should say that I have had the curve for as long as I can remember (i'm 30 now), and it bends to the left when erect and flaccid. As such, I’m fairly sure that it is not Peyronie’s disease.
I have looked at how penis extenders work, and it appears that they exert tension on the penis and consequently promote cell growth within the three parts of the penis that fill with blood and form an erection. These are called the corpora cavernosa (right and left) and the corpus spongiosum (smaller and running along the bottom of the penis). My thinking is that the corpora cavernosa on the left side of my penis did not develop as much as the corpora cavernosa on the right when I was young, hence the left curve. I'm thinking/ hoping that using a penis extender would promote more cell growth in the left corpora cavernosa than right, as it will be under a greater degree of tension due to it being shorter; this should result in a reduction in the curve. My major concern is that somehow, no idea how, it makes the curve worse.
I am really looking for either a second opinion on my assumptions or some personal experiences from guys with curves in their penises who have used penis extenders.
I have noticed this mole getting bumpier over the past few months. Could anybody who has been diagnosed with melanoma give their opinion? I understand that only a dermatologist can make a proper diagnosis, but I would appreciate any feedback.
ps: I am a 24 year old Caucasian female.
I would like to ask a question re Physio. Some of you seem to think your PT has been superb. Can I ask what he/she does with you. I feel that mine has been a total waste of space and I'm not sure what to do yo try to improve the angle of the bend in my knee.
I go back on Thursday to see my surgeon, it will be 7.5 weeks since the op. I want to be able to speak honestly to him about my experience.
Today I went into town with my daughter and 5 year old granddaughter. Hitchin is an old market town with cobble streets and lots of steps up and down on and off pavements. I went without a stick, big big regret. I am almost 7 weeks post-TKR. My leg was in agony and I couldn't wait to get home. That was really depressing as I thought I was doing so much better.
Will hot water help with the cramping I'm having? I'm 11+4
