I'm cheryl, 34 and 3 months pregnant.For the past year i have had major eczema flare up on face and neck, it burns and is very itchy. Been to docs and have had all the creams doing, nothing working, has anyone any suggestions on how to control it? Don't think i can take much more of this as very debilitating.
View 4 RepliesI've gotten eczema rashes for the past few years in very small patches on my upper arms and back. While annoying, it was not a big deal. But last week I washed my face and it felt irritated on my forehead. The next day when I looked in the mirror, the entire left side of my forehead had become a rough leathery patch. I was able to get it to go away by softly rubbing away the thickened skin in the shower, but over the course of the week, I have started to develop the same irritated, flaking and thickened skin on my eyelid, below both my eyes, under my bottom lip and on one of my cheeks. I went to the dermatologist who prescribed a ketoconazole and to start washing/moisturizing with cetaphil.
But I'm pretty embarrassed about these patches on my face and the dryness is super uncomfortable so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get it to go away faster.
I'm 15 and have suddenly started getting eczema on my face its really irritating as the doctors doesnt know whats causing it as i hade lovely smooth skin which everyone just to envy me of as i had no blemishes it was not oily but then this year in may/june i started getting a rash on my face then went to the doctors they have given me so many creams but none of them have worked so im back on the antibiotics (500mg) & another cream i would love to know whats causing this but some doctors say it's down to stress our a reaction to something ?
Just wanted to know if any adults got this at my age and do they still suffer with it now our did you find something that worked.
My 6 year old daughter has had Molluscum Contagiosum spots for about 3 months now. The doctor has given Steroid Cream but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. She also has eczema and the creams are just irritating it and making it flare up.

I work in a warehouse and was very sweaty this past week so I wiped my face off with a towel during the day, possibly further irritating and drying out my face. I also have purple pimple like bumps on my face but again, only on the right side.

Since I was about 11, I have struggled with a weird type of dandruff. Pieces of my scalp flake off and hair falls out when this happens. I can't call this dandruff, as the pieces are bigger than flakes. Does anybody struggle with this? I have never been able to do anything about it.
A large number of individual and now merging spots/lesions over face ears, hair, ankles and arms. They are terribly itchy and have tried all sorts of creams etc. Gp says its scabies, have had medication for it, definately not as keeps recurring. I cannot go out, have been to a dermatologist who gave me pills which actually made me hallucinate and feel very ill?
View 1 RepliesI'm a 20 year old university student struggling to cope with the constant pain and irritation of my eczema.
I get it all over my arms, armpits, neck, chest, the back of my legs and my wrists. Its scabby, sore and irresistible to scratch at. I have on too many occasions scratched it until i bleed but i really cant help it. I have had severe eczema all my life but in the past two years, it has really started to get me down. I have applied prescribed steroid creams, Hydrocortisone, E45, Doublebase.. showered and bathed in prescribed shower and bath gels and swallowed countless anti-histamine tablets in the hope of them taking away the itch and the urge to scratch.
I'm writing this as i am so fed up, just like the millions of others suffering from eczema out there, and hope that one of you out there can help me, or atleast give me some tips to reduce the irritation.
Currently i am applying Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion after i shower. It does reduce the itch and calm my skin, but the redness and dryness returns when the cream is absorbed or whenever i start to sweat. I can't partake in exercise or sporting activities as i am scared, actual fear, of how itchy and sore my whole body becomes.
As i sit here repeatedly itching up and down my arms i'm hoping there is someone out there who can give me some advice, i've had enough of being embarrassed and fed up of my skin.
Hiya for the last 7 months I have experienced visual problems and hearing loss that make me feel dissociated/depersonalized (out of it) 24/7 and I am unable to function and unable to concentrate. I get a lot of pain in my back shoulders and neck, and a lot of pressure in my face head eyes and neck, that radiates to my entire body and makes me extremely fatigued. these are the main symptoms that are bothering me the biggest one being "this out of it" feeling! does anyone else experience this?
View 4 RepliesI am now 27 weeks with my first baby girl and originally weighted 185 lbs when I got pregnant since then I have lost 15 lbs and now have gradually gained it back but I am only 187 lbs..... will this affect my little girl? I eat constantly to try and gain weight but it seems I can't!
View 5 RepliesI am 27 years old and I had chicken pox when I was 2. When the shingles came out, it took me down like nothing else. It has been almost a month since I noticed the rib pain. It started with sharp rib pains that hurt really bad and thought it was my spleen. Then about 4 days later I noticed a round sore right under my breast where the rib pain was occuring. Then a couple of days later, it showed up on my back, directly across from the other ones. I had no idea what this was... I waited to go to the hospital because I thought it was poison ivy! I waited about 8 days to go to the hospital. Had I had known what it was, I definitely would have gone immediately. Oh, the pain was excruciating! Ibuprofen did not even touch it. I was prescribed Acyclovir, Prednisone, and a cream that did not help. I was also prescribed Dilauded for the pain and Promethazine for nausea. It has been a week since I finished all of the medication. The shingles are almost gone but there are about 4 really bad areas and they do not look like they are healing. Since last week, I have developed little pimple like things all over my shoulders, face, neck, back and buttocks. I have no idea why they are there. Did anyone have the same reaction? They will not go away! Please help!

View 1 RepliesI am 12 weeks pregnant and my skin on my bridge of nose/eyebrows, are immediately to the left/right of nose, and on the sides of my mouth down to my chin won't stop peeling. I have tried olive oil, coconut oil and nothing works. I didn't experience this with my first pregnancy nor is my skin ever like this.
I have to exfoliate in the mornings (use baking soda) and gently scrub those areas so it doesn't look so awful but within a few hours, cracked peeling skin. I have tried not exfoliating, nothing works.
Any ideas on what I can use? do? Should I go see a dermatologist?
I had a Tubal Ligation about 10 months ago, when my was born. It was my decision, my husband just went along with whatever I decided. I think I decided to quick and will possibly have it reversed, but the cost is so high and there are no guarantees The problem is I don't know why I am so sad I did this. I've felt this way since they placed my newest angel in my arms. Does anyone have this feeling of Major Regret?

View 1 RepliesI'm 38 year old female. Back in June I noticed what I would call a sore spot on chest muscle. I spend a great deal of time with rounded shoulders looking down at phone. I don't really feel it so much if I am up moving around. Feel it more sitting if I'm on my phone a lot or in the bed I'm a side sleeper. I can feel it sometimes with a deep breath or cough. Some days I don't feel it at all. Ibuprofen takes the pain away. My chiropractor feels it from my rounded shoulders. Stretching it out helps some to. Is it normal to have chest soreness for 4 months. This is right sided and does not feel at all to have anything to do with my heart.
View 64 RepliesNeed answers for reason for the swelling sensation. Feels like vagina and rectum being pushed out as before. Went to doctor 1 week post op because of this, bladder still in place. Doctor had no explanation. Scheduled to go for check up in 3 weeks. This will be the 6th week since surgery. Can't rest or sleep well because of the constant swelling.

I've finally found a stable enough relationship with my fiancee who has been super supportive through all of this. Also, I have an advanced case of PCOS that causes massive hair growth on my face and other parts of my body, so I have an overproduction of testosterone.
About a week or so ago, I found out I was 3 weeks pregnant. I had my usual period but then the bleeding wasn't stopping so I called my doctor, they asked me to take a pregnancy test, it came out positive. They had me follow up with another one the following day and it too was positive. They had me come in and do blood draws.
The first draw returned HCG levels of 103. That was Wednesday of last week. On Friday last week, I went in for another blood draw and the HCG level was at 150. So it is increasing, but I am still bleeding. It's not the normal implantation blood which is darker in color, it's a brighter red like a period.
Sometimes it's heavier than others on some days and other days it's lighter. Even throughout the day it changes how heavy or light it is. I'm so confused and it's causing me undue stress which is not good for the baby.
I've only had one day where there was tissue passed and that scared the ever living daylights out of me. I really want this baby and I'm trying everything I can to keep it. I've been taking prenatal vitamins every morning, I quit drinking caffeinated drinks all together, I've been drinking more water, eating more fruit everything you're supposed to do to help the baby grow strong.
The doctors tell me not to worry but because of my past history, I can't help but. I'm going in for another blood draw today and I'm worried as all hell that it's going to come back even lower and that they will tell me I'm going to lose this baby.
Anyone else experience anything like this where the bleeding increases and decreases throughout the day?
I'm 34 weeks and I woke the other morning to the left side of my face paralyzed. I can't move that side of my mouth or close my eye at all and it's starting to droop as well. Doctor said it's called Bell's Palsy and it usually goes away after days, weeks, or even months. There might also be a risk that it could be permanent due to nerve damage.
View 5 RepliesI went to physical therapy for TMJ 4 days ago, I'm 31 years old. While massaging my jaw the physical therapist went on to my neck, and without me knowing out of nowhere cranked my neck super hard and it popped 3 times on the left side. My neck has been stiff on the left ever since with some pain and when I walk I hear loud clicking crackling/pop rocks sounds in my neck right before it meets the shoulders. Did he injure me? anyone else experience this? will it go away.
I was so upset he cracked my neck like that he isn't even a chiropractor but said afterwards when I got upset with him that he knows chiropractor movements.
I've never been to a chiropractor so I don't know how it compares but it seems really hard and forceful when he did it. Its weird that when I move my neck I don't hear the sound, only when walking. Someone please advise me on this.
Also what type of doctor should I see for this issue, i'm going to schedule an appointment tomorrow, but don't know the type of doctor who would be best. My GP just gave me ibuprofen and said it should go away on it's own.
