View 9 RepliesSo I am going to breastfeed my daughter but my boyfriend wants to take her to his family reunion in August in Alabama. He insist that I formula feed her so that she can go but that's not going to happen! How long does breast milk last in bottles and which bottles are the best?
View 11 RepliesI want to breastfeed for a few months (I've heard it's great for bonding) then I want to pump and put the milk in bottles for convenience purposes... How long do you think I should directly feed her from my breasts before I switch to bottles?
View 3 RepliesI'm a ftm and my baby was born early yesterday morning. She still doesn't latch to my breast but she seems to be doing fine with her bottle. Is there anything I can do? I really want to breastfeed but I'm getting discouraged.
View 2 RepliesAnyone know anything about pot and pregnancy? I'm not planning on smoking any during my pregnancy but is it safe (in moderation of course) when you're breast feeding? It seems like all the info out there about during or while breastfeeding is vague.
View 5 RepliesSo my last pregnancy I never made milk, any advice or tips out there?
View 2 RepliesI have a 6 months baby. Still breastfeeding. My cycle is 7 days late. I decided to do home preg test and is positive. I texted my doctor. She said I can still breastfeed my baby. Has anyone experience this before. Okay to continue breastfeeding?
View 8 RepliesI am a 48 year old man and on average i drink about 10 bottles of wine a week. i feel fine look fine & am very healthy, but in gov stats i'm an alcoholic.
Why is this, i work abroad a lot (Spain) where wine consumption is the norm.
I exercise 5hrs a week my weight in 11 to 11 1/2 stone. If i drink white or rose wine i make them spritzers 3rd sparkling water, 3rd wine & a 3rd ice, if i drink red then i drink a glass of still water with each glass. I also drink good beer maybe 20 to 30 bottles instead of wine for 3 days a week & drink the same amount of water with each bottle, i never have a hangover, feel sluggish. i don't eat junk food drink tea or coffee or popfizz drinks i only eat freash foods no packets or takeaways i make my own. So tell me is my lifestyle wrong?
Being a first time mom, I'm trying to get all of the input I can. Every post I see on here about breastfeeding is positive. With everything, there are always 2 sides. My question is, who planned on breastfeeding but didn't continue and why? Is there anyone who is unsure or doesn't plan on breastfeeding? Please don't give abrasive responses about how breastfeeding is the only way. I just want to see this aspect from all, unbiased points of view.

My cycles are much longer now, about 35 days apart and I am ovulating. (Using test strips) we've been trying for 3 months, baby is 9m now and still breast feeding.
View 1 RepliesIs it okay to smoke marijuana while breasting and or pumping.
View 1 RepliesI'm really keen on losing weight after having had a baby 2 months ago. I've used Orlistat before and it's been with great results. I'm currently breastfeeding exclusively so not sure if it's wise to start on the tablets again or not?
View 3 RepliesJust curious, i have an almost 3 month old baby, was wondering what would happen if i did a 10 bag of meth, i still breastfeed
View 1 RepliesI have a 3 months old baby. I used to smoke pot and I am afraid it will effect on my baby. Can I breastfeed my baby and still smoke the pot? What does second hand smoke from pot do to a baby? Can I smoke in the same room where my baby sleeps?
View 14 RepliesSo I am a breastfeeding mom. My son is 5 and 1/2 months old. I introduced formula for supplementation when he was about 4 and 1/2 months old. When I got pregnant I set a goal of exclusively breastfeeding for 6 months. I only introduced formula due to the fact that my son ate alllll the time and when I would pump I was barely getting an ounce. So he only got formula like before bedtime and when we we're out and about. Now when I pump i get like 5 ounces. Now I am trying to only breastfeed in the morning when he first wakes up and at bedtime. But the reason for this post is because I am trying to find ways to wean my son from breast feeding. I know that it's a process and I don't want to just take it away completely I enjoy the bonding time and the comfort I can give him from it.
View 6 RepliesI'm asking Moms who breastfed more than one baby already. Is it as painful in the beginning the second time around? Or your boobs just get used to it?
It was pretty painful for me in the beginning with my son but got much better later on. I'm worried it will be as painful in the beginning with my second..
