My hair was falling out at a rapid rate, i was gaining weight even though i barely eat and had some really bad mood swings! Went to the doc and prescribed me levothyroxine 50mg it has been 9months since im on this medication, my levels are back to normal but i still feel as though nothing has changed, my hair is falling out i'm almost bald, its really hard to lose weight and according to my mom i have become unbearable! How long does it take to see actual progress with levothyroxine? does your hair grow back at all? will i ever feel better? i just want my life back :'( I had take a year off university because of this and i need to know if anything is gonna change! I'm sorry for the long note i'm just fed up and frustrated, thank you for your time i really appreciate it :D
View 5 RepliesI had an abortion a week ago I was 5weeks pregnant 2 days after the procedure I started bleeding but since then ve not had any milk discharge from my breast..pls is that normal?
View 1 RepliesI'm a 22 year old female and i've always thought i've had problems with my breasts. According to my mom, I developed breast really early.
I got my period when I was 9 years old. For as long as I can remember, both of my nipples are inverted, I never thought anything of it.
Also, I've always had this WHITE, STICKY, SORT OF CLUMPY discharge caught in between my nipples. It's easy to wash off but it always comes back.
Recently i've been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and for some reason i've been focusing on my breasts too much. I had breast pain on the breast that was slightly larger than the other. No lumps, but doctor gave me an ultrasound anyways to ease my mind. All normal and no cysts, inflammation, or lumps. I had mentioned to my OBGYN about the little sticky discharge and she didn't seem worried about it. All she said was "Oh it's just dead cells from your nipple, its normal"
but is it normal?!
It's not uncontrollable discharge and its not liquid, its like sticky white clumps. Is this something that happens to women or even men with inverted nipples?
if you know someone or yourself have this, please let me know so i can ease my mind. My anxiety revolves around my health and I'm terrified that i might have some type of disease or even cancer.
oh and by the way i read that a tumor can cause this? well thats crossed off because i had a brain MRI done last month for horrible headaches, all normal too.
I am having deadly pain in my right chest below breast, while i cough, sniff. I had a cough two weeks ago. I check up for doctors , i did x-ray and video x-ray it shows everything normal. Doctor gave me pain killer and ask me to take until i feel ok. He suggested me to do physiotherapy.and also suggested me to take rest. I can't sleep laying backside down. i can't even move things using right hand. When i cough or sniff i have a deadly pain. Doctor said that the muscles between the ribs have problem. I am worried about it. It is effecting my daily life.

View 7 RepliesIt is now just five months since my RTHR and I think I'm back to normal. So hands up all you hippies who think, as I do, that, as a reward for my extraordinary courage and being a model patient, my wife should now allow me to purchase that lovely little classic sports coupé that I've seen for sale (quite cheaply) on the Internet.
View 52 RepliesMy husband got a fatty liver disease and enlarged liver. he hadn't no pain at all, no bleeding in urine at all. he happened to found out by test while in life cover.

I'm 30 years old and have 6 children, this operation is taking over my life !! I'm starting to get really depressed and switching off to everyone, I've been really repressed a few years ago when with my X as we have 4 children together, before this opp my life was perfect, I'm getting married next year, found my perfect man and got 2 kids together now (6 in our eyes) and now everything seams to be falling apart because of me and Thai operation !!
They say don't lift anything more than a kettle full, but I'm in th real world and I'm sure unless your childless and don't work you can follow the rule exactly but I am struggling already and my help goes next week when I'm 5 weeks post opp, I do have help most days BUT not to be able to pick my 6 month old up is killing me.
How do you prepare the bladder for storing a average amount of urine after wearing a catheter for many weeks? At present I can only manage 1/3 to 1/2 the average. Not too good for traveling, going to theatre, shopping etc.
View 43 RepliesI'm 37, my hight 1.80 and I weight 79 kg. My average blood pressure is 138/90. My GP prescribed me Ramipril 1.25mg.
I reduced my salt intake, stopped drinking caffeine, stopped drinking alcohol and started going to the gym regularly. I completely changed my life style.
What I would like to know is: If my blood pressure comes back to normal after the treatment, can I stop taking blood pressure medicine or I have to take it for the rest of my life?
I'm six months and my breast have not grown much since pre pregnancy. I also don't have any colostrum or milk. Does anyone know natural remedies?

View 3 RepliesI am currently pregnant with my second child and I used formula with my first, but I would like to try breast feeding with this one. No one in my family has breast fed and I haven't had any friends who have either so I'm wondering if there is a great book or anything I can get information from on the topic.
