I got checked today, I was thinned out and 2 centimeters dilated. Like 8 hours after my appointment, I had this dark brown mucus discharge. Every time I wipe there is some. Could this be my bloody show or could it just be spotting from the pelvic exam? I'm so hoping it's the bloody show!
View 7 RepliesTMI, but I am 39 weeks I just got my membranes stripped yesterday afternoon and since then I've had some cramping and a little blood but I just went to the bathroom and a big glob of mucus came out when I wiped that had blood in it. Was that what is considered your "bloody show"?
View 1 RepliesHas anyone asked their dr if they are the same thing? I think im losing some of my mucus plug but it's not bloody or anything and i've read that they might not be the same thing. Im only 33wks so i dont want to see any signs i might go into labor early. If there is a possibility that im going into labor too soon is there anything i can do to help not progress faster besides a shot or something from the dr or hospital? Should i not walk as much and stuff?

But there was no mucus in it so I put on a pad and later this afternoon the pad was full of brown discharge so I changed the pad and its now 8pm and there is more blood in the pad. View 4 RepliesI'm very scared and freaked out right now. I've been on Birth Control (Tri-Previfem) for two years now and have never spotted in between periods. I went to visit my boyfriend last week and we had unprotected sex, but he didn't finish inside me. During the four days I was visiting him I took my pill inconsistently. I normally take it at 8:00 am every morning, but I was taking it at around 9 or 10 am while visiting him.
It's been a week since the unprotected sex and I've been taking my pill constantly at 8 am, but I just noticed very dark brown, almost black discharge when I go to the bathroom and wipe.
I'm freaking out because this has never happened and I don't know what to do so I thought that someone might have some advice or answers.
I have had a dark brown odor free discharge everyday for a 2 months now , and to embarrassed to go to my doctor , well anyways once a week i will wipe and see blood with the discharge and sometimes blood clots ,the bleeding once a week just started 3 weeks ago , i also cramp really bad . what is this?

View 1 RepliesI'm about 14 weeks preggo and for the past couple of weeks i've been having alot of cramping, along with lower back pain and some pressure. I haven't gone to the doc. cuz it all seems pretty normal and i've had no bleeding. i've also felt emotionally distant from the pregnancy,like i'm not pregnant. I'm nervous because i did have a miscarriage at 21 weeks with no symptoms except feeling disconnected like i do now.Anyway, last night i went to the bathroom to finally go number 2 and when i wiped(sorry i know it's gross) this weird green mucus stuff came out of me. I remember the same thing happened to me with my other pregnancy also. I called ob and the nurse didn't know how far along i was and told me it was my mucus plug. When i told her how far along i was, she didn't know what to say, I wasn't far enough along to go up so i had to go to my doc. who told me everything was fine. I have an app. with my obgyn on thur. but was wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else, and if so what was the outcome?
I should mention, I did have a full term pregnancy after my miscarriage and do not remember this mucus.
Friday I started bleeding then brown discharge then it stopped then Saturday started bleeding again then it stop now it's Sunday & it's completely gone is this normal ?? By the way i'm 14 weeks pregnant
