Okay so I just had anal sex with my husband for the first time. And afterwards I had a discharge with a bit of red streaked in it. Is that normal and okay? It wasn't a lot but it still concerns me because Im 4 months pregnant. It was impulse and I regret the decision but it happened. Id like to make sure we are okay.

It does not hurt If i gentley insert my finger (I was checking for bumps ) i should also add there is no blood in my stool or pain when I whipe. I should ALSO add some areas feel puffy/ like they have a bump and others do not. It is around the edge of my anus an a bit into it. I just checked again and there is a bump where the slight pain is.

I have went to almost 4 surgeons, and they said that I don't need surgery, just keep my bowel habits normal and avoid straining, everything will be alright.
but, i am also suffering with a discharge from anus, I was thinking of using Incontinence pads, I saw Prevail's men's pads and thought I should use them.
But, Is it safe, to use disposable pads for a rectal prolapse, I mean, I have read various articles about the toxins that disposable pads contain, my prolapsed rectum might come in contact with the pad itself, can toxins be absorbed into my body via the rectum?
I've suffered from mucus-coated stools and a light anal discharge for years and years, after having a peri-anal abcscess misdiagnosed as piles at the age of 17. This resulted in having an urgent operation to drain the ruptured abscess. 11 years after this surgery I was diagnosed with a multiple fistula-it was incredibly painful by this time as I had ignored the discharge etc for all those years, but it became unbearable. A year ago I had a fistulectomy, which has healed well. During the surgery they found a lump in my bowel. They took a biopsy and I was told it came back clear. For the last three months the discharge has returned-it's quite runny and not foul smelling, but I know also pass strange, fatty like things from my anus when I pee. It feels like I need to pass wind when I wee and then these bits come out, a couple of lumps of what look like slightly under cooked egg white. I am also still having mucus covered stools with some bright red blood and some darker blood when I wipe.
I really don't want to have to go through more 'camera up the bum' procedures but do you think I should?

I've seen my doctor several times (another appointment next week) and he says that it's fine for me to have sex, and that I should do some dilation on my own at home. Well, I've been trying to do the dilation, but I can't even get a small anal plug to fully go in. It's as if there's a restriction up there--which can be felt, it's similar to a ring, and it feels like a scar tissue of some sort...
Anyway, I'm just looking to find some people who have had similar experiences, and am looking to hear from people who have had this problem and maybe have had some better results in terms of having sex again. It's really bumming me out. I'm 23 and I feel like this problem is going to linger with me forever.
This is my Second pregnancy and since i was 11 weeks i noticed some bleeding after passing a stool so went to see the nurse who did an examination down there and confirmed it was piles, i suffer with health anxiety so i wasn't settled with the diagnosis, anyway i relaxed and only had a couple of bleeding episodes, i'm now 24 weeks pregnant and recently have been have some bleeding when i wipe after a bowel movement, it also feels quite sharp when i poop like i'm tearing the skin and a small amount of bright red blood is seen on the paper ( there is none mixed in with the stool) i've had a look down there and i can see what i think is a pile, and also a tear i think, it feels sore now has anyone had any experience with this problem and should i be worried? I may approach to GP but the thing is that first of all i need to know is this my problem like if incase if a man having low sperm count or any other problem will results in sperm leakage after intercourse or else she is loose or any kind of blocking tubes in her.

View 3 RepliesI'm kinda freaking out and would like some advice before I head to the doctor in a couple days. Felt a sore on my anus when wiping and looked and saw what looked like a small cut when checking and thought it was from aggressive wiping or from when I was doing squats at gym. Couple days later cut is still there maybe bigger, but that may be from irritating it every time I have to wipe. Do also have what appears to be a hemorrhoid, and itches occasionally though that might just be because I can't stop think about it. I am sexually active but have always been safe and never shown symptoms anywhere else on body before.

I had a fourth degree tear at the birth of my second baby 9 months ago and as a result of this needed this surgery. However a small hole appeared to one side of my back passage and I got this looked at by the registrar in the Hosp and was told it would probably heal on its own and not to come back unless more complications. I was put on antibiotics. Two days later the hole is bigger and there is both fecal matter and thread from surgery coming out of this hole. I am now presuming I have an anal fistula. Has anybody experienced this after an anal sphincter repair?
