Anyone else experiencing shooting pains down one of their butt cheeks? It's starting to happen more often and at longer durations after sitting on a hard surface too long. Definitely painful! I'm 29 weeks tomorrow.

View 5 RepliesI have been having this pain for quite a while but today when I woke up it was bad. I have never been diagnosed with anything but I don't have money to go to the doctor right now.
The pain is located in the upper left side off buttock/side of hip. This pain usually is middle of buttock and lower back it has radiated some down the leg but not as a main symptom. it mainly hurts when I am walking or lift my leg up high like I'm stepping over something. It is sudden and painful. When I sit it's a constant pain and when I stand up from sitting (without moving)it feels a little bit better.Â
If if anyone could please give me any advice on what this could be i would be super happy and grateful as today I am left sitting on the couch because it is too painful to walk.
I received a "VIP" dance at a strip club where a stripper shoved my face in between her but cheeks. My mouth was open and my tongue did get out. She was wearing a gstring, and i'm concerned about any STD risks. this lasted for quite awhile. I was drunk and on top of feeling genuinely embarrassed (and ashamed), I am concerned. I haven't noticed anything that looks like a symptom.

My only symptom now is terrible pain that I could only describe as sciatic based off what I see online.
- constantly changing pain in my butt, inner and outer thighs, and my big toe on the right foot.
- constant pinching feeling in groin
- lower and mid back pain (can be mild or so painful, for example needing to lie down after a 5 minute run)
How likely is herpes to cause these symptoms (which have lasted three weeks now), without causing lesions?
I'm 16 weeks I get the regular uterus growing and side / back pains but I also get this shooting pain kinda in my vagina ...

View 1 RepliesHas anyone experienced sciatica pain? I went to my doctor yesterday for my 20 week check up and told her about the pain because it has started a couple days before. She referred to me a physical therapist for sciatica but who knows how long. Anyone have tips/tricks to help with this? Should/when should I call my doctor again since the pain has gotten worse. I can't move,walk or stand without the pain being terrible. Defiantly a 9/10 at least.
View 2 RepliesI had this problem with my first pregnancy from about week 14 until like week 20, and then off and on from there.
We'll it's back with a vengeance, it's killing me. It doesn't matter if I'm sitting, standing, walking. I'll move just right and I'm almost either in tears or afraid to move because the pain is so bad. I have a 14 month old and trying to chase after her or carrying her is becoming extremely difficult. I'm afraid I'll drop her.
My doctor didn't have many suggestions for relief. We just moved and I have no idea where my heating pad is.
Any ladies experience this and what did yall do to help alleviate the pain
Has anyone else had sciatica pain when pregnant or not? And what do you recommend for relief? My left leg has been hurting like a sharp pain with tingling and numbness off and on. I don't know what to do to help since Tylenol didn't help...

View 1 RepliesI have just been diagnosed with shingles for the first time. Feels as though I have a boulder in my eye and the pain shooting through my head is excruciating. Have got a few blisters around my eye and am praying my eye sight will not be affected. Am taking Acyclovir, Paracetamol and an anti inflammatory. Have noticed as the day goes on and I take more pills the pain eases. Early mornings are worst and I have to get up and take more pills

View 3 RepliesI am currently experiencing a burning sensation on the entirety of my left arm, and an intermittent, shooting pain travels from my elbow into my wrist and hand every little while as well. I just noticed those red bumps today and thought it may be connected with my pain, which has lasted for a day and a half now. The burning sensation is aggravated by touch.
Note that I have never had chickenpox before, I was vaccinated.
So am I getting shingles? Should I stay home tomorrow to go to a physician?
I was wondering if anyone has experienced tail bone pain as well as pain shooting down the leg with stones? this is a constant pain for 3 days now

View 1 RepliesFrom the age of 8-14 i was seen at hospital for Scoliosis for years i would have x rays and check ups, since then nothing? confused! because i was young i only know that i have a lower curve of my spine (sorry don't know technical words).
More recently i complained of lower back pain which my doctor agreed and gave me co codamol as nothing i was taking worked. I am also currently waiting for a physio appointment as my dr said that it may help? not sure but i will try it, however that has been 3 weeks and i still have heard nothing!
Since complaining of lower back pain though i am now having more problems, the spasms are becoming more frequent and shooting up my back and making me gasp when they are bad, these are slowly getting worse. Again i spoke with my doctor and he didn't seem concerned, i however am.
I am working and it is a desk job but i can walk around and split the length of sitting down. Also a hot water bottle does help when i am at home at work is slightly more difficult. I currently have to sleep with a pillow under my back so i am more comfortable. I am also sleeping separately from my hubby as his mattress is way too soft for me to sleep on.
This is driving me mad and i just need the pain to stop. Can anyone offer advice please?
Ok, anyone out there that can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I just got back from getting the results of a MRI that I had just done on my back. I've been in alot of pain for a month , today. The report said as follows:
Findings: There is a large central disk protrusion at L5-S1 to the left of midline. This is impinging on the passing left L5 and probably S1 nerve roots. The disk protrusion is large enough to potentially be displacing the S2 nerve root as well . No L5-S1 foraminal stenosis is seen.
There is normal conus medullaris and cauda equina. Vertebral bodies are normal. The remainder of discs and disc spaces and facets are normal.
