I'm 27 weeks pregnant and I have not felt my daughter kick yet it's my first I know she is ok cos I can feel butterflies like I have been feeling for a few weeks, when will I feel her kick ?

View 4 Replies15wks today. Over the past three or four days, I've occasionally felt a slight pinching/cramping feeling to the right of my belly button. It's not necessarily painful, but it does get quite uncomfortable after a while Is that normal? I'm assuming it's just from my organs getting pushed around as baby grows, but it'd be nice to know if others have experienced this or not.

View 2 RepliesLast time I went to the doctor, he was breech. I'm not sure if he still is but I haven't really felt him kick much at all today. I really hope everything is okay. I'm freaking out and really need advice. How can I get him to kick? I'm 22 weeks, 1 day. Should I be feeling him regularly? Is there anything I can drink/eat/do to get him to move and let me know he's okay?

View 3 RepliesNever did them with my first. I was never even told to or knew what they were. To be fair I was only 17 so wasn't sure of much but the doctor never mentioned it either. But this time my midwife just told me I need to be doing them.
So I just downloaded an app typed in kick counter and the app is called kick me it has two little pink feet print.
It was super easy to use and not as confusing as I thought it would be haha. So I'm just letting everyone know who is starting kick counts or doesn't want to write it down yourself. It keeps a log too. Or if you didn't know you were suppose to do them. You usually start at 28 weeks

View 5 RepliesDon't know what has just come over me. I am nearly 8 weeks post . Operation on second tkr and have managed to stop all my pain meds. I got up put some washing out and because it's a lovely sunny day decided to go shopping and then have a sit out in the sun this afternoon. However something just came over me quite unexpectedly and I started to cry. What is happening?
I feel that only the people on here understand exactly what we have gone through and don't feel that I can talk to my family because they think that I am doing so well and now should be back to normal. I wish people on here lived nearby and we could meet up because some days I feel so lonely. I don't give off this impression but I think it's the shock of the operation and trying to get on with things. Anyway must pull myself together and
put on my coping face. Does anyone else feel like this?
I have been off Elavil for almost two weeks. I dreaded coming off it as I was sure I'd get horrible menopause symptoms but, so far, I've been absolutely fine. But now I'm a bit confused!!! I don't know if the menopause is 'over' or if its just too soon to notice any symptom after being on Elavil for several years???
I feel that even my mood has improved in the past two weeks - (although I have been more tired than usual) - and I think I am less bloated in the evenings.
I was diagnosed chlamydia. My doctor prescribe 1g azithromycin. It's been two weeks. No more discharge.
However, sometimes my urethra feels itchy and my urine flow became thinner. I masturbated few times and found out my semen did not flow smoothly.
It's 3 weeks today since I've done my myomectomy. I'm still a little swollen and I get either sharp shooting pains or what feels like cramps in the area. I think maybe it's my bladder that's cramping ? because I feel a slight discomfort when I pee. I still get tired very easily, even if all I'm doing is walking around the house. I lost 1.3 litres of blood and my blood count's lot less than what it should be. Is that the reason why ? I was supposed to do a blood count on Monday 23rd but I didnt go because I wanted the boyfriend to come with me to bolster me. My biggest fibroid was almost the size of a football and the second biggest was the size of a grapefruit. I got lots of rest last week but I still feel tired..I don't understand why. I'm feeling just as awful as I did after the surgery. I thought the tiredness and pain would be gone by now. I have to go back to work tomorrow but my doctor said 6 weeks. I don't want to lose my job. My boyfriend says I'm fine. It's week 3 now. Also,my left lymph gland/groin hurts sometimes. I'm back to feeling the same discomfort as I did after the myomectomy. The scar area is a mixture of numbness and pain. Is this normal ? My sides and back hurt too. I've been using my abdominl muscles to get up, which I didn't do before, (I was using my hands to push up and my boyfriend would help me to get up), so now my abs feel sore. Is that okay ? My doctor had said that if my blood count doesnt go back up to normal I may have to do a blood transfusion. I don't want to do that. I've stopped taking the pain medication Voltaren, because I don't want to get addicted.
View 17 RepliesHad A&P repair done 16 weeks again, had a few up and downs along the way but on the whole things were going ok, that is until last week, I have started to feel sore underneath and quite uncomfortable and this morning have noticed a bit of blood, nothing major, not had a period since last February so hoping it's not that.
Has anyone else expericaned this? I did call the consultants office yesterday but was told that I have now been discharged back to my dr, so would need to see him.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my sixth child I have been having Braxton Hicks everyday for the last 3 weeks they are stronger and stronger last longerthey seem to be 5 to 10 minutes apart I have never experienced this with any of my children so this is My first child in my 30's should I go into the hospital and get checked out? Or not worry and just wait until the 19th for my appointment?
View 1 RepliesOk so I'm 36 weeks and 2 days and I've gained an insane 50 lbs. It doesn't help that I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'3" our little girl is HUGE. I also know as women we should embrace our pregnant bodies, but I just started becoming swollen and I can't help but feel like a damn oompa loompa. I'm not looking for a way to feel better it would just be nice to hear I'm not the only one feeling like a huge cow...
