I am 37 weeks tomorrow and have been having a lot of pressure pain since yesterday and I woke up with strong upper abdomen pain this morning that had me doubled over .. thay pain has subsided now but now im still having menstrual like cramps along with diarrhea (sorry tmi) I just want to know if these would be signs that labour could be soon?
View 2 RepliesI am on my 5th week post-op TAH (removed uterus, cervix and Fallopian tubes). I was recovering well in the past few weeks with reducing pains.
Of all sudden, I had a painful swelling abdominal and soreness/pulling pain around waist yesterday coupled with giddiness and headache. Is it normal having a regression during recovery period? Any remedy members could share esp. now I still can't exercise. I put on an abdominal binder now to ease the pain slightly.
I'm a 27 year old female and I've been having abdominal pain for 2 months now. I've had a CT scan and blood tests done and everything came back normal other than an elevated WBC in the urinalysis. I can't get in to see my doctor for a few days and just want some peace of mind. I'm having bad sharp upper abdominal pain. It started on the left side originally but is now happening all over my stomach and I'm ridiculously bloated. I started having weird bone pain a few weeks afterward--there is no pattern. My hands will hurt, then my left leg will hurt, then my right hip, etc. Today I started noticing a metallic taste in my mouth as well. Anyone know what this could be? I've researched everything from hemochromatosis (my mom carries the gene) to H Pylori but nothing fits perfectly.

View 2 RepliesFor the last 6 months I've been having quite localized pains in the upper left abdomen just below the ribs, accompanied by nausea and sometimes back pain mainly at nights. I sometimes have wind, but hardly ever heartburn. Two doctors have thought it a gastric problem, but Zantac and Omeprazole don't seem to work. I wondered whether it could be my pancreas, as I've been on Epilim Chrono for 4 years, which can affect pancreas. I've come off this now and am still getting problems, and my amylase is normal, although my liver function tests are elevated. One doctor thought it may be kidney stones and sent me for an ultrasound, which was normal. I was told though that the ultrasound couldn't see the pancreas properly, nor the stomach & bowel linings. I had a stool test for H Pylori which was negative. Any ideas on what this could be, or further tests I could do?

View 2 RepliesTwo months ago I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and took antibiotics but after I finished them I still wasn't feeling great so my doctor put me on another round. Finished those and then began having slight headaches, lots of nausea, sometimes vomiting and diarrhea and extreme exhaustion. I have had two blood tests and nothing shows up I have an ultrasound this week but does anyone have any idea of what this could be? I am a normally healthy twenty year old and this is keeping me from work and school!

View 2 RepliesIm 39+6 and had a sweep this morning. Turns out at my sweep I was already 3cm dilated.
Midwife has said just go home and see what happens but could still be a few days until anything happens.
Since getting home I've had constant cramps. Is this the start of it all?
Has anyone had a similar experience? Or after having a sweep how long until you went into labour?
I am 38 weeks and have been having pain and tightenings for about a week some intense and all over back buttocks and lower abdomen some mild like period pains. Have been reading forums online and people have gone into their birth centre with no contractions.

View 5 RepliesI am 37 weeks and 2 days. I went to my doctor Thursday and was 2cm dilated and she could feel my baby's head. I'm a first time mom, so I don't know what to expect. I think I lost my mucous plug yesterday and now keep having brownish colored blood on my panty liner. Should I call my doctor? Is labour very soon? I also have contractions sporadically and back lower back pain.
View 3 RepliesI'm 37 and 1 day and for about 3 weeks iv had pressure in my cervix but not bad pressure, now it's starting to hurt and feels like her head is coming out! And also iv been having pressure in my bottom and my lower back is really sore like a dull pain... Could this be labour starting soon? Did this happen to anyone else?

View 2 RepliesI'm 38 weeks and I went for a very long walk today 10 blocks and I had to quit on my way back home cause my tummy n vagina were hurting , I was having rank pain when I got home it was so bad I was crying it stopped now I'm having pains every 20 mins and burning feeling in my vagina this is my 3rd pregnancy and with my two others my water broke then had to get the Labour started for me. Just wondering if anyone else had Labour start like this ??

It's uncomfortable that when moving doesn't stop and I can't sleep through it too just feel poop i'd say they're getting slightly stronger but to be fair can hardly think straight apart from its hurting
View 1 RepliesI had a surgical abortion I was 11 weeks. I had it done jan 14. I then had some abdominal pain so I went to my set he next Monday . The pain has gone away since but then wednesday jan 21 had a ultrasound and my dr says there is either blood or tissue try couldn't tell. The abortion dr said it takes two weeks to pass all. I'm kind of scared my dr referred me to a gyn but they haven't called. If it's blood won't it pass? I was only 1 week post. Or should it all be gone . No fever or cramps any longer . It's Friday and I am a very anxious person what do you think? I am 36 mother of 4. I'm scared.
