I'm 17 years old and curious. I tried speaking to my doctor today but he was busy so I need a reply. I'm on a birth control pill. I took my first one last night at 6:15pm, I then felt normal. I woke up at 5:45am and felt sick in my stomach. I vomited at 7am. I also had severe pain in my stomach , back and boobs to the point where I couldn't walk. Is this because of the pill? Or is it just a virus. I took my second one again at 6:15pm today just to see if the same thing happens tomorrow morning. If it does, i'll be seeing my doctor. But for now, does anyone have any answers?

just started losartan today this is the 4th tablet I've been prescribed hoping side effects aren't to bad this time. Is there any benefit in taking meds at night instead of morning as they make me light headed and dizzy. Anyone got anything good to say about this particular tablet .Hope this one doesn't give me a cough again just got that settled after lisinopril.

Hi I wonder if anybody has some advice based on personal experience please. I recently started on losartan [one week ago in place of bisoprolol] ....it is beginning to work in terms of lowering my blood pressure but i wake up every morning & i'm OK for the first 30 minutes or so & then the side effects kick in .... dizziness, fuzzy head, breathing laboured, heavy legged, headache & so on. I take my bisoprolol along with my warfarin & simvastatin last thing at night. Has anybody felt less side effects either by taking them at a different time of day OR maybe by splitting the pill ... I'm on 50mg daily?

This is the third time this has happened and I don't understand it.
I wake up in the morning and can't remember what time of day it is, have I woken from a nap? is it morning or night?
This morning I woke up feeling it was evening and it was 6.45 in the morning. I am really worried about this wondering if I could have dementia etc. I am hypothyroid and have Graves and Hashimoto's, would it be anything to do with thyroid?
I am an intelligent person who likes to keep busy. The only thing I can credit it to was perhaps an upsetting argument with my husband last night, but as I say it's happened a few times now.

I have had classic PMR symptoms (shoulders/upper arms/hips) and was diagnosed on March 2015... I am now reduced to 6 MG pred daily.
Have for the past two weeks or so had SEVERE wrist pain... not sure if it is pred withdrawal or PMR.
Anyone else have PMR pain hit their wrists? Cannot stand to bend them... Cannot remove a lid from a jar, etc.Gets better as the day wears on. Worse in the night/early morning.

I've been on fluoxetine for 4 weeks and actually feel worse, waking up 4am, weakness, shakiness, moodiness and can't even be bothered to get dressed. Feel very tired during the day but still waking up early.

My whole pregnancy I have had a little swelling in my hands, feet, lower legs and ankles.. But I've never had anything like this with ANY of my other pregnancies, just a little swelling that comes and goes. I had a miscarriage feb 12. It was my first pregnancy. I bled heavily until March 6. Me and my fianc had intercourse early this morning and during sex I noticed a horrible smell. I did not realize however that it was coming from my vagina until I got up went to the bathroom an had brownish bloody looking discharge. It's very light and seems to be going away. However the foul odor is not. And I have slight cramping. Nothing serious. I went to the er on March 1 Bc my fiance convinced me to take a pregnancy test and it came back positive. So just being cautious and staying in the safe side we went to the hospital. Both hoping there was still a baby even though I had been bleeding ridiculously for two weeks. A ultrasound reviled that there was no baby and it was just hormones left over. They told me my hormone levels were where they would be at one week pregnant. I was 6 weeks when I lost the baby. So is it possible that the line on the test is still just left over hormones? Or could I in fact be pregnant again? And so soon? And what is the cause of this discharge and odor? I had not noticed it until intercourse. And me and my fianc are very sexual active. And I did not notice it the night before or anytime before so. What could this be? Has anyone experienced this before?

2wks ago, I had a very large herniation removed and I did great the first week, but I think that I am now having muscle spasms. I see my doctor for my first post op visit this week. I have been in a back brace since the surgery and only take it off to sleep (am a side sleeper). This week, I think that I have been having spasms at night. I know that it's not nerve pain b/c I know what that feels like. It feels like a tightening and ache and is scaring me b/c it's in my back and leg, where I had the previous nerve pain. Are these spasms? I have not slept all night. I got up and walked around, but I don't know if I should be walking while in pain. I do have Valium, which was giving to me as a muscle relaxer upon release from hospital, but am getting no relief. Is this common and are there any tips?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend early on day 12 of my cycle. He did ejaculate inside me. I am not on any form of birth control and never have been. 40 hours later on day 13 of my cycle I took the Levonelle morning after pill. I have had no spotting or breakthrough bleeding. All I have had is tender nipples which hurt to touch. I have had some menstrual cramps like I'm going to start my period but nothing. It's been 2 weeks since I took the pill and my period is due in 5/6 days as I have 30-32 day cycles. Last time I took the morning after pill I had spotting then my period the day after I took it which was right before my period was due but this time I had sex mid cycle, likely just before or during ovulation. Not sure if I'm pregnant as its too early to test. Anyone had a similar experience? Think I'm pregnant or paranoid?

I posted in epilepsy earlier. I couldn't find the sleep boards. I am suspicious I have epilepsy but I wanted to see if anyone else has experience with this. I have severe sleep myoclonus that occurs every night all night. It causes me and jerk and I usually see a flash of light and hear a clicking sound. This occurs over and over so I hardly ever sleep. Does anyone have any experience with this?
