I seem to be getting more bruises or just recently noticed quite a few on my legs mostly. Have no idea where they came from either. Is bruising or black/blue marks common in peri?
View 6 RepliesI'm a 14 year old girl. I have recently being getting purple and blue bruising on my knee, the side of my knee and my hip bone. I also have a small green bruise on my left breast and brown bruising over my calves and thighs. All of this has appeared within the last 2 weeks. I really don't know how I got them as I have had no recent traumas or bumps. The only thing I can think of that might be linked to the bruising is the exercise I do at the gym. I go on the elliptical trainer for 40 minutes 4-5 days a week, but I being doing exercise for 3 months and It don't make sense that the bruises are only appearing now. If you know what this is then please help me as I'm starting to get a bit worried now

View 1 Repliesso the last few months i've been having many symptoms, like going to the washroom every half hr to an hr sometimes a few hrs, i've been cramping, last month my period was late by a week and it didn't last very long only 4 days and this month it was late again but it seems very light not like my regular period. I've been puking up sometimes, sometimes bad sometimes not bad but it wasn't in the morning only during the daytime and been craving weird foods some foods i didn't even like until now..I took three pregnancy test and they all came back negative and also went to my community healthcare and asked for a preg test but that came back negative so right now i'm very confused about the whole symptom things..oh yeah one last thing there are so blue veins around my legs and breast and my breast are sore as ever, can't even lay on my side of my pillow cause they hurt, try to lay on my back but my lower back hurts, cant sleep at night, tired during the day times, been sleeping during the daytime after work.. cant even drive for a longtime without my shoulder and neck hurting, my emotions are going crazy off the wall.

I find them weird because I don't bruise easily, plus they are tiny (although there is one that is larger in size) and I don't recall hitting myself with anything repeatedly to cause them. Additionally, I've been feeling increasingly tired, even when I sleep for a long time (i.e. 10 hours). Could this be related?
I've had leg pains for the past 12 years (I'm 20), but the reasons are still unknown. Could the bruises be related to this?
Plus, I get pains around my right-lower back, and around my uterus (like slight cramps. The last time I went to the gynecologist a sonogram was performed and I had an ovarian cyst. I was supposed to return after my period for another sonogram to see if it was endometriosis (it was a huge cyst), but was not able to. Are these pains related to that, or something else?
Ii have purple/blue with white spots on my legs,feet, and hands. i get numb feelings in them and fall asleep easily. i am very tired all the time. i am starting to get depressed more easily. i have joint pain in my hips fr about 2 years now. i have high blood pressure and found out birth control can cause more reactions (i am on birth control).

I used to be such a patient, loving,caring person who laughed things off and was the life of the party. Now I do not want to leave my house, I let laundry and dishes pile up Cuz I'm too exhausted from doing nothing. All I want to do is self medicate and sleep, but wait I cannot sleep I have restless legs and leg cramps and my mind is racing. I hate my job which has become too stressful to handle lately. I know they probably aren't even looking at me but if there's a chance they could be, I find it hard to put one foot in front of the other and walk normally.

I'm about 6 wks on flu now and had at last a few good days this week, less nausea brighter mood, more energy -very welcome feeling.
Think having a blip today as feeling very sad and cried for first time in a while. I'm sure it's just a random 'not so good' day as a few tests over the last week have meant hospital visits, not eating before hand, taking meds different times and long days. So i'm trying to take it on the chin and hope tomorrow is better.

Okay so I've finally plucked up the courage to take my first blue pill (after nearly 3 weeks of putting it off and many meals out wit friends later)
I just wondered if anyone had any examples of meal plans and what they've been eating just so I can start off on the right food and avoid any accidents early on which I'm sure will put me off completely.
My anxiety had seemed to have kicked in again out of the blue ! am currently taking 20 mg and have been taking this dosage since dec9/14, started out on 10 mg which eventually seemed to reach a plateau hence the 20 mg dosage. this week past was that time of the month for me and is ordinarily a rough go without the cit. The past 2 days have been really rough with what seems to be anxiety kicking up , almost to the point if there was a way to climb out of my body i would. Doing all i can to keep busy along with walking 5 km a day, Up until my period things seemed to be good... not sure what is going on! my doctor didn't seem to want to address it and i'm not sure why, now it seems i'm gonna have to go back again.
View 24 RepliesA few days ago i went a jog then took my dog a walk. It was raining the full time. I came back and sat for 10 minutes before changing out of my wet clothes. I noticed my fingernails went blue/grey on and off for about 10 minutes.I took ages to heat up too which is unusual for me.Last night the were more of a purple colour and quite sore/tingly at times feeling like it would feel if i tied something around my finger. Tonight they are normal colour, slightly purple at times on some nails (when you look closely for a while) and dull achy pain on my fingernails every little while. I have social anxiety so cant go to doctors.Just wondering what people think it could be.For a few days before it happens i had been feeling dizzy so i really think it is just anemia but does this sound normal if it was that? There are no medical conditions at all in my family.

View 1 RepliesI went to the docs tonight as i have gained nearly 5 stone in the space of a year all down to a different tablet I was taking for depression. I had to beg the doctor to give me these and he basically told me that they would just give me an upset tummy and that they would not help me to lose weight. I nearly cried when I got on the scales and discovered that I am over 90kilos. I have always been slim even after having 3 children, this time last year I was 9.7 stones. I have read lots of advice on this forum and am going to start a 3 day low fat diet before I start taking the tabs. I hope this will help me not get some of the side affects. Can anyone tell me what a 5g breakfast looks like really not sure on what foods are best to eat at each meal time.
View 4 RepliesI am 24 years old and have an (apparently) odd eye colour. My sclera has turned blue- only the visible portion- it appears almost like a blue contact lense. if i move my eye there is a clear defining line between white sclera and blue sclera.
After several people noticed I went to the Dr who had never seen it before. They ran blood tests for iron and liver. only issue was slightly lower ferritin at 17 (not enough to treat). The Dr has no clue, and neither do any other doctors in the practice. Optician says eye health is fine, and they don't know the cause either.
Has anyone else encountered this?
I also get joint pains, digestive problems, and fatigue.
