Penis :: Less Stiff Erections Due To Stress? Environment Change?
Mar 2, 2015
I'm soon to be 19 in a few days. Ever since starting college last fall, maybe about 6 months ago, my erections started getting less stiff - to which now they only ever get about half, sometimes three quarters as hard. I cum a lot quicker as well, albeit without really feeling much pleasure when I rub myself.. I used to get really hard ever since I had erections, sometimes lasting long whiles back in highschool.
I'm still a virgin. I haven't really had any girlfriends here in college, I'm quite shy if this plays into it at all. I also have a roommate, so I just do my "business" in the bathroom or shower, since I don't have privacy in my room like I did back at home. And even when I returned home for break for 4 weeks, or just occasional weekends, I still wouldn't get as hard as I did before college, nothing would change. I don't even get as excited as I once did in public when I see really attractive girls and such either. This has me having crazy stress and anxiety right now, making all my college stress worse.. I questioned if college stress could be a cause, but figured I've also been stressed in high school before and never had this issue.
It gives me a total lack of confidence, and I'm not sure what I'd do if I managed to meet a girl here and I had to explain this. I eat just well, always trying to have a banana sometimes, special K cereal every morning along with waffles, sandwich or such for lunch and soup and turkey/potatoes or a burger for dinner. I always drink water. Occasionally I'll drink milk for breakfast. I've never smoked, I don't do drugs. I've taken vitamins and antihistamines for allergies, but have stopped those almost a month ago with still no change. Please help with any possible answers.

So, I went to see my urologist last month and he noticed that my foreskin became tighter. It has always been tight, since I was born, and I'm incapable of retracting it when erect. Whilst flaccid, I don't have any problem. But he said that, sooner or later, I won't even be able to do it at all.
I'm not afraid of the operation. In fact, I think it will be for the best.
What I want to ask is about the outcome of getting my foreskin removed. Until now, with my glans covered, sexual stimulation is practically null, whether vaginal or oral. My penis feels and looks almost like a finger, actually, and I'm not kidding. I was wondering if getting circumcised will indeed improve my sexual life.
Here are some issues regarding my penis that haunted me since forever:-
I'm generally scared of intimacy, because I'm so self-conscious about my penis: it looks kind of weird, strange, different from the other's, with that extra piece of skin. That makes me feel so very anxious, which commonly keeps me from having a full hard erection. (That's also where most of my performance anxiety in bed comes from).
Maybe getting rid of my foreskin will not only boost my confidence and self-esteem, but also help me to achieve faster, easier and harder erections: besides the psychological factors, there are plenty of nerve terminals in the penis' head, which remain inevitably unstimulated during sex due to the interference of the foreskin. Having the glans totally exposed, I guess, will make arousal not only possible but also more enjoyable. Correct me if I'm wrong.
People, I'll appreciate so much your input on this matter. It's so important to me to finally have a full and rich sexual life, just like it is for everyone else. In short: will circumcision boost my self-esteem and self-confidence (since I won't feel "deformed" anymore when naked), and will it contribute to feel more stimulation and, therefore, better erections?

when I get erections they seem to be soft or very easy to squeeze lets say, especially when I stand instead of pointing up and solid it points more straight out and not as firm. they are not what they use to be no matter how turned on I get, and because of that I don't crave sex like a young male should. im good health im 27
I don't know if hemorrhoids can affect it I have had them before. I also don't know if this has any connections, but I had a wet dream one night I could feel myself orgasm, however I was laying on my stomach basically flatting my penis, could do have damaged the shaft? I went to a urologist and they said everything seemed ok, gave me Cialis samples and Viagra samples' but I did not continue them I did not like how they made me feel very groggy and eyes tired.
any suggestions is very helpful. thanks! I am determined to find a reason to this.

when you got an erection for the first few day how did it feel? was it you penis that was painful or your foreskin a bit tightening that hurt.
when you pee during those first few days how was it? did you feel you could only pee out of a little hole little than more than you usually could.

Background story is that I have teased myself per say when I was little but never actually fully fingered myself and I have never had an orgasm. I am not a virgin anymore since a few months ago. Okay so here's what happened. I was fingering myself for the first time in forever and it was my first time stimulating my clitoris. It felt good so I kept going harder. I've never reached an orgasm but I think I got close because my face ears and body felt like it got hot. I stopped. Today I felt the top of my vagina begin to hurt like it was bruised whenever I sat down. Later on I tried to finger myself again and stimulate my clitoris but it hurt and felt good. I continued to go rough because that's how I liked it and it felt good and I stopped and looked at my clitoris and it had like a red stiff circular lump inside the hole. I ignored ur and continued until it hurt and I checked again and it had gotten really red and stiff and swollen all together. My question is what happened and how do I make the pain go away?

I have been on 100 mg once or twice a day for a long time, originally after a foot operation. Advised to keep on, to help arthritis pain and after effects of hip operations etc. The dose was raised to 300 mg at night and 100 mg twice a day. I always feel rather odd and have muscular convulsions over a long time, before the dose increased. Currently have shoulder aches and stiff neck with headache, put down as tension. Has anyone had similar problems, could it be the gabapentin, - so difficult to tell?

I've just had a blood test which showed vitamin D deficiency. I have very little energy, my muscles and joints are stiff and painful, and my feet really hurt when I try to walk any distance. I've always been very fit and active so I'm wondering whether I should push myself to exercise even though I don't feel like it or whether I risk making my condition worse by pushing myself too hard. I'm taking vitamin D supplements but I've seen from other posts on this forum that it might take months to get better. I find swimming less painful than walking or cycling so maybe that is okay?

I am 26 years old, it's been more than 4 months I am suffering from pain in both of my foot, ankles and left wrist, I took all the test and found Uric acid was too high in my blood, doc prescribed me fuboxstate tablet and within 2 weeks it came down to 2.2, it's been more than 3 weeks since I lowered my Uric acid, but still pain is not going away and both if my foot and left wrist have swollen and stiff, I drink 2 ltr of water, have lowered my food intake, specially meat, chickens, alcohol and dairy products,
Just to add, in the first week of Jan2016 I met with an accident, had stitches on my right knee, that took approx 2 months to cure, but that time there were no pain in my foot, pain started in my foot when I got a new shoe in feb 2016, I thought it might go away with time as this was just bcoz of new shoe, also I started taking protein x powder without any exercise, I know it was a big mistake I made.
My question is,
1- Based on my above comments is there anything else causing pain as my uric acid is down?
2- is it possible any of my nerves misplaced due to the accident or new shoe and causing pain and swelling?

I have had this for over a week, and it seems to be getting worse. I am 33 and in very good health.
The 1st knuckle on my index finger is pretty swollen, stiff and has a fair amount of pain when I bend or touch it. I have already been to urgent care, and was told it was not infected due to no heat or redness. I was given Ibuprofen and a splint, told to follow up tomorrow if no improvement. They sugest bloodwork to test for uric acid or arthritis. he said possibly gout, but that is usually more painful. I do eat a high red meat diet, with higher purine foods- ie aspargus and beans.
I do not recall injuring it enough to cause anything like this. i do crick my knuckles- old habit I am slowly breaking- but that has never given me problems either. I have started cold compress today and occasional war, Ill see what that does.

Does norethisterone change your ovulation day? I was using the tablets for less than a week to delay my period and came off them and had unprotected intercourse a few days after. If that had been my fertile window before taking the tablets would that still be my window while I was taking them?

I often find I am changing up to 8 times a day not because the bag is full but because my skin sweating causes the adhesive to break down and the leaks begin. This is worse in hot countries and when travelling as I will need to change to make sure I have an empty bag before queuing up for aircraft etc. I also need to change before driving any distance as the seat belt position can cause leaks. Is there anyone out there with a similar problem

So now I feel like a complete hypochondriac. Ladybud (who is fabulous, btw) has helped me tremendously. I am wondering if any of you have had your ANA patterns change. I am having muscle aches, dx with small fiber neuropathy and Raynaud’s, my RBCs and C-reactive protein have been low throughout the last 3 years. I now have been dx with a reactivation of the Epstein Barr virus and alopecia due to “granulomatous Dermatitis” (getting 2nd opinion later this month).
These are my titers and patterns over the years:
10/2011 ANA Titer: 1:320 Pattern: Homogeneous
11/2011 ANA Titer: 1:320 Pattern: Homogeneous
10/2013 ANA Titer: 1:320 Pattern: Homogeneous
5/2014 ANA Titer: 1:160 Pattern: Homogeneous
AND NOW:
6/2014 (AVISE SLE 2.0 TESTING (1st time with this test) ANA Titer: 1:80 Pattern: Diffuse fine speckled
Negative on all markers. I am HLA-B27 Positive, but negative for ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
Now my rheumatologist stated all my blood work appears to be normal and I have ZERO autoimmune positivity.
Huh? I feel like such a hypochondriac.

almost two weeks ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and the doctor gave me Glucophage and I started it right away
she said that my hormones are normal .. but she tested me the last day of my period (the 8th day)
right after I took Glucophage .. I noticed changes in my personality
I'm not intense as I used to be ... I take things more freely
I also feel sorry for everybody .. not really sorry but mercy? I don't know but I feel I want to help everybody
my sex drive also is up
and some other changes too
and I don't feel like myself .. it feels weird
it feels like there is a difference
I'm wondering can it cause these changes?

I get anxiety when people or things change.... even people I do not know. Today at work I heard that a child who is two years old is on her last days due to numerous problems. I felt anxiety shoot through my body even though I do not know this child. I know we all feel sad when we hear something like this but I cannot understand my body reaction to this. Another example is that there is a house behind me which is now sold and I feel anxiety that they are leaving even though I have never met them and I dont even know their names. What is this....I don't understand my feelings.

I was virtually deaf in one ear and very little hearing in the other ear, have worn hearing aids for 25 years. Recently (all happened so quickly, within 6 weeks) got diagnosed with Otosclerosis in both ears. 6 weeks after seeing doctor, i had the op. I had a stapedectomy/stapedotomy on 04/01/2016. Noticed a faint improvement in hearing when lying on the ward after the op, could faintly hear trolleys being moved about. But nothing drastic...... I've had dizziness, (not room spinning dizziness) which now only remains if i read, do jigsaws, scan shop shelves from side to side etc, weird! I've been through the heart pulsating, creaking, the rain dripping onto a metal plate sound etc.
I've had no real explanation of what to expect, i didn't really ask the surgeon any questions as i wasn't sure what would happen after and was unaware i'd have so many unanswered questions come up.
I assumed, and read some on the internet, and was told by a friend who'd had it done, that once the packing was removed, i'd be able to hear. Had packing removed 6 days ago, i'd built myself up SO much, that i stood and sobbed when i still couldn't hear! Surgeon looked a bit puzzled, but he said he wasn't worried at this point and to see him again in 6 weeks and that it'd be fluid behind my ear. He said i need to have some popping before i'll hear.
So, here i am now, with no change in my hearing for the last 6 days. I'm sure when i swallow, i sound as if fluid is in there? I also get like a thunder noise mainly in the morning when i wake up and my throat moves. But what's worrying me most after reading up on the internet again, is when i put headphones on, i can hear the music, (have to have it on loud to hear it), but the loud thumps/beats in the music make my ear crackle like a loose wire on a radio. I read last night that this is because the op hasn't worked and the prosthesis needs tightening/shortening/revising. But then on the other hand i've read that this may be normal?
If i go to do a burp movement when i have music in the headphones, i get a millisecond of a loud noise, but then it goes again as my throat can't seem to hold the noise open if you get what i mean. I have soooo many questions but don't want to bore you with them, maybe later. So, should i be hearing by now, is the crackling loose wire sound normal, and if you have any other advice that might stop me worrying please. I'm just sitting waiting day by day thinking today might be the day that i hear.
