My friend wanted to ask me on his behalf regarding a swollen tip shaft just below penis head. He had it after recovery circumcision which is more than 10 years now. He wants to know if it should be a cause of concern?
View 1 RepliesI had a circumcision 2 months ago because I was diagnosed with Phimosis and I had pain during sex.My stitches are gone, my wounds are closed and the pain is gone, but, there is a swollen ring under my glans with no signs of progress.Its the same for the past 2 months.I asked my doctor and he said that its normal and it takes some time to heal but I know thats not true...most people were good by 1 month max, and my swollen ring under the glands has no signs of progress at all.Has anyone experienced anything similar? Does anyone know what is causing this ?
View 2 RepliesI have experienced a swollen penis shaft under the head after vigorous sex. I went to the doctor, got an his/std test everything came back NEGATIVE (phew) . The swelling just went down on its own after a couple days, I left it alone and waited two weeks before getting sexual with my fianc again. We did, and everything turned out fine. However, my pee stream was a little weak after but nothing to worry about, that cleared up as well. Having long periods of time without sex and then having rigorous or constant lubricated sex/masturbation can cause this to happen. Take it easy and ALWAYS use a lubricant. Makes for a healthier looking penis as well

About two years ago me n my ex got a uti from a third partner went doctors got cleared about year later had same symptoms .. went away after about two weeks .. within the last six months I've had more issues pain swelling also note small white bump on testical (no pain or swelling of testicles ), pain in tip of penis ..again having multiple partners (female) I get tested regularly and have always been negative ..classified as general infection.. anyways I've been seeing a girl n just her and we had unprotected sex n I could feel with tip of my penis if felt rough bumpy .. anyways I had a small pimple like bump on my shaft I was able pop it but now all my glands are swollen around pelvic area n where the bump was is swollen affecting girth .. View 1 RepliesThere is a large lump on the right underside of my penile shaft, I haven't had sex and know its not a sexual disease. It appeared all of the sudden last night when I noticed it while I was in the shower. It looked like a swollen pimple almost so i proceeded to try to pop it (probably a bad idea) there is now an indention not unlike a hair follicle has been dug out. There was a decent amount of blood that came out of the surrounding area (most likely because I scratched it while trying to "pop" whatever is causing the lump. Its been a day since that and I checked on it again shortly before writing this. There is still a lot of welling in the area and I put some topical antibiotic on it (neosporin) just now to avoid it becoming infected. I would like to know if this is something I can just ride out with the proper care, or if I need to go to a doctor.

I'm 6 weeks 1 day into my recovery a&p repair & a hoist up of the womb.. can't remember the medical word for that. All guidance says sex is ok from 6 weeks, what a joke. I am still so swollen and sore that is the last thing on my mind! This may be tmi but my vjj is unrecognisable in a bad way, it is so lumpy and bumpy and oh so sore. They do not seem to have taken much time or consideration into the aesthetics when stitching me back up. It just looks like a mess down there I am hoping things improve.....
I have recently had a revision circumcision as the first time I had a circumcision due to tight foreskin done which was around 10 years ago it was quite a poor job, it looked messy and untidy and the scar on the top side of the penis below the glans was tender and painful. After years of just putting up with it I decided to get it done again. The surgeon was reassuring and said we can tidy it up and get rid of the painful scar etc. Anyway so I had the procedure done two weeks ago and I know it's early days and there is still swelling but I can see there is going to be yet another swollen ridge where the scar is on the top side of the shaft below glans. The rest of the circumference of the scar is healing fine, the underside and the sides are nearly all healed, swelling is going down and I can already see the scar will be level with the rest of the skin on my penis and there will not be tenderness or a ridge like there is on the top side.
What can I do about this? Why is it healing like this again? Do I just scar badly in that area? I put up with it for years before and often avoided sex because of it due to pain and embarrassment and I really hoped I could get it resolved but it looks like the same is happening again.
I see other photos of circumcisions and there is a smooth scar all the way around. The type of circumcision I have is quite loose so there is still excess skin on the shaft that can bunch up a bit behind the head, I don't know if this maybe causes the scar to roll up and heal thicker, whereas if the skin was pulled tight from head to base then maybe the scar would be flatter?
Im not sure what to do now, I thankfully was able to have this done on the NHS and can see them saying well that's it now there's nothing more we can do and I will be stuck with the painful scar. Has anyone experienced anything like this or has any advice? I would really appreciate it.
Is there any other way around a circumcision?

The colour is a little lighter at the point which comes out furthest from the rest of my penis. It does not always occur, and can be removed by squeezing the enlarged circular area. When erect it appears normal. I tried pe stretching a few months ago and did feel a sharp pain, then I stopped. I am unsure if it correlated to that. I can not remember exactly when it began.
