Been prescribed it to get my BMI down so me and my partner can have Ivf. I'm male and a bit of a pussy when it comes to tablets (think I had a trauma when I was younger) my question is can i break the capsule and just take the powder or is the outer part of the tablet?
View 1 RepliesI have been drinking honey with cinnamon powder mixed in warm water each morning for a couple of months and blood test results showed a drastic reduction in both. I feel it does work but it is advised to be careful that it is taken carefully and not overdosed as cinnamon can be harmful if taken in large quantities.

Which is better for my reflux the liquid aloe vera or the pill. Does anyone take this to help their acid reflux. I also take omeprazole (10mg) once a day but also saw in the book Dropping Acid that aloe vera was good. I just don't know what form to use.
View 10 RepliesI was having leg cramps in calf and thigh 2 to 3 times nightly. It took 10 to 15 minutes of walking around and massaging for relief. Obviously becoming sleep deprived. My doctor started me on 200 mg quinine nightly, increasing to 300 mg if necessary. Within days my muscle cramps diminished. At the end of one month they were gone. The immediate relief was astonishing. I have been on quinine for over a year now. As a preventive dose, I take one 200 mg tablet every other night which seems to be sufficient. If I get an occasional cramp, I take the tablets every night for a few days.
I tried drinking quinine water (Schweppes tonic carbonated water) as a substitute - but was unable to drink that much carbonated water daily. Wasn't able to try it long enough to see if it would help by itself. It had worked for a friend of mine who wanted me to try it.
I have had no side effects from the quinine. I would highly recommend trying quinine if you are having night cramps.
I have been on 10mg PROPRANOLOL for a few years for anxiety attacks which would last 4 days of continuous sickness and sweating, also heart palpitations.
I have managed to control this over the past 2 years and very rarely get panic attacks , if i do the sickness and palpitations last a day.
I was taking this medication twice a day, however the beginning of last year i weaned myself down to one tablet a day (10mg) and then eventually stopped taking my tablets all together. i then became very anxious and had to reverse back to 0ne tablet daily. This is with the odd attack.
A year later and having no attacks i would like to try again and wean myself of completely but scared i will revert back to being sick an anxious again. However putting that to one side and thinking positive i would like to stop them.
Can i cut the tablets with a drug cutter and reduce the amount to 5 mg daily and stop.

This friend I had she stayed with me and my boyfriend for a week and a half because she broke up with her boyfriend. She really hurt me badly. I had to walk back home on my heel with no support.
Since then, my foot has swollen, and I have pain in injury. I'm really nervous about this. I want to go get an X-ray but the hospitals are closed for the next two days. Chinese New Year.
How common is it to re-break a bone? And is it more or less likely with the pins? should the pins be removed at some point?

I've finished the first Pk, now I'm on day 4 of 7 day break from pill taking, no period has happened. My partner and I have agreed to use condoms also for a couple months to allows the pill to get bk in my system fully as in an extra precaution. All that happened one night when I was about to take it it slipped out hand and rolled under sofa, so I picked a tablet from another Pk for that day and just threw rest that full Pk away. Is it normal to have not had a period yet?
